Bonus Chapter
I swing my leg, making a step outside the car. Sheering my other foot that is left inside. I have been itching to speak my mind about what bothered me when we were at the grocery store. And in the end I still chose to shut my mouth and act muted.
I don't know if Wyn got it. The signal that I emitted. But I think he didn't knew what I was trying to send to him subliminally. Because I didn't declare what I wanted to say. It's such an awry thing to do to him. But what can I do?
I slammed the car door and rushed into the door. The drops of rainwater drenched my skin. Once I opened the door I head into the couch. Minimizing the sulking feeling I have while I placed both of my legs on it.
Wyn lowered his head closing the last space between us before holding my hand to get me to sit on his lap.
“Are you mad at me?” He whispered under my ear, while having a firm hold of his arm around my waist.
Mad? Maybe I was. “I am. Only 19 percent. The other one it's because of my own personal thoughts.
“And what are those personal thoughts you have in mind? Would you mind to share it with me.” He is soft in weaving his tone. That makes me feel bad even more.
“Would you share it with me, Fari?” He spoke again. Reaching out for me when he knows I am spacing out.
“It really sounded bad if I will worded it out to you.”
His light chuckles send a light touch to my heart. It is not stultifying that make no effect, it definitely has an effect on me because it made me want to hear more of it from him.
He hurried his face on my neck, nuzzling his head which made me feel his short stubbles that tickles me. I squirm a little that made him laugh. He mumbles unintelligibly on the sofa still dipping his face under my neck. Before placing a soft kiss on it.
"I'm sorry, baby.”
“Don't be. I was supposed to be the line I need to say to you. I'm sorry for lashing it out silently.” I leaned my head, craning my neck to see his face.
I moved my body to gave him a hug. “I'm sorry, Wyn.” I finally said as I run my fingers on his hair. My other hand went to caress his back while his arms are still holding me gently.
"Want me to tell you a secret?” His eyes dance in a delightful sparkle when I said it to him.
“What is it?” I knew he is excited to hear it as his lips move to crack a smile.
“Promise not to tell anyone about this?”
He nodded his head at me with a good amount of expectancy. He's patiently holding on to a feeling of being interested.
“I'm all ears. And I promise not to tell anyone, not a single soul will know about it baby.”
I urged him to lean a bit. Which he did. My head went to intrude on his ears while I lean in.
“I love you.” I whispered on his ear as softly as I can enough for him to pulled me in a tight tugged of his arms on my body, enveloping his arms to secure my body into his embrace.
Before he discharged my body and planted more kisses on my cheeks.
“I love you too.”
It's cold. And I want to make up for the sourly attitude I had a while ago. I lifted my fingers to make little taps on his shoulder side.
“It's cold. Want something to drink? Perhaps coffee or tea?” Or me. I added in my head without saying it to him.
"Aren't you a lover of hot chocolate, love?” He uttered with a sense of knowing about what he said.
“You're right. I love a generous portion of hot chocolate as a drink.” I'm a big fan of it. And I cannot resist hot chocolate. With blendor of marshmallow tidbits.
“I'll make the both of us a warm cup hot chocolate.”
I stood from being seated on his lap and gave decided to give him a peck on his cheek.
“I'll be right back.” I swing my hips happily to go to the kitchen. Making my way to make a hot chocolate drink.
I waited for the water to get heated on its right temperature point staring at the mini bubble popping on its surface.
There nothing interesting to see behind the clear lid of boiling water but I was smiling the whole time as I wait for its preparation to got the proper heat of its boiling point.
I felt a pair of arms thay circled around my waist. A nice feeling rushed into me when I felt Wyn from behind.
“What are you thinking?”
"Nothing.”
I poured the water out of the kettle, pouring the liquid on the two cups that had their own back story.
Wyn and I got these pair when we were busy looking for the set of porcelains to give to my friend Carys who was talking non stop of how much she wanted to have more collections of it to have a variety of designs to choose from.
We were busy looking for it when it caught out attention. It was placed on the rack and the colors just stood out. I even made a joked that it's really tempting the buyers to get it.
The colors perfectly matched our own preferences and the designs that exudes simplicity made it more attractively looking. I was not the only one who liked it. Wyn found it cute too. Instead of veering to the sections of porcelains we completely agree to buy the cups and went to the cashier station to have it packed.
“The cups.” Wyn started.
“I know.”
