Bonus Chapter

The warmth of hot choco and the steam seeped through my nostrils. I enjoyed the smells of what I inhaled. Before I threw my fingers in the air to do some flapping to blow the amount of smoke visible for a bit. And then handed it to Wyn whose eyes are goggling towards the drink.
I wanted to add my own chuckle when I handed him the cup just because I find his reaction cute but I preferred to do some postponing to it. It is strange yet beautiful that I finally have someone who loves the same thing the way I love it too. Just like how he loved the hot chocolate that I handed to him right now.
“How is it?” I asked fitting in the cup in both of my hands, placing my fingers around both of the corners of the cup gripping a firm hold to it to enjoy the warm feeling I got from holding it.
Nodding his head his gaze met mine. “Taste good.”
Leaning my back to the edge of the kitchen counter while holding the cup somehow felt comforting.
“I can do this everyday and I am certain I will never get tired of it.” Wyn stated which made me furrowed my eyebrows while continuing my eye contact.
“I don't get that.” My voice croaked a bit but it still sounded soft. I'm not sure as to why I voice that kind of sound.
Angling his head he stared at me for a while before saying anything. “This. Drinking hot chocolate together. I can do this everyday and I wouldn't even get tired of it because this kind of activity involves you.”
The end of his statement got me hooked. Smiling I took a sip of the warm drink. “I could do this too. And I swear I will always find it a fascinating experience.”
We stayed outside, both seated into the chairs placed into the terrace. The open-air breezed felt fresh. This is what I like about this spot. It is because you can have the entire view of the surrounding neighborhood.
The flickering lights from the street lamps and the lights from the homes. This is the place that is substantial enough for someone who wants to have a peaceful living.
Surrounded by people who are free of fury but full of friendly sunshine demeanor is what I love in this area. You can always wake up everyday expecting a good cheer of “Good mornings.” followed by a smile from the neighbors. The shared afternoon talk while drinking teas and a couple of snacks that they themselves made.Wyn and I always got invited for some afternoon tea especially by Ms. Lolita who was candid enough to bake pastries and beverages to be offered to her own neighbors.
She loves cooking. She also invites people to come to her house to have dinner with her. She is mostly alone in her cozy abode living with her cats and her dog Molly who is such a good girl.
I wouldn't even want to slack on doing my early morning run around the neighborhood and passing across Ms. Lolita's front yard to give Molly some patting. Molly is a lovely golden retriever who loves to received a nose bop from whom she viewed as her friends. Making friends with a dog is such a wonderful thing. And I can't wait to have one.
The night sky caught my attention. A few twinkles are visibly present above.“Not too much stars this time around.” I mentioned after seeing the view above.
“You're right. If it's possible for me to travel anywhere in the galaxy I will take you on that one.” Wyn pointed his hands up to a specific twinkling star, that looked too striking. The twinkle it emits covered half of the other ones whose sparkler are not that bright.
“You're saying it that casually. It is raising my own hopeful heart to wish for you to have that spectacular experience with me.” I answered. Gazing at him to let him know that I meant what I said in the way I spoke my words in the earnest way I knew of saying it.
We both stared at each other at the same time. We're smiling. Liking the idea of visiting the 54 neighboring minor galaxy that surrounds our Milky Way.
“A travel to the stars. We should put it on the list.” It was Wyn's turn to stare at me with an intensity.
We created a list of plans we want to accomplish together within the next year. It includes our own travel plans, the food we still haven't tried yet, and some weird and unusual kinds of stuffs that are too exciting and fun for me that I couldn't help but to wish that we have started to begin doing the things we listed already.
“We should. But first we have to grow our own cherry blossom tree out in our backyard.” Giggles are now out from the both of us.
“We need to book a flight to Japan. We should probably book a flight next week. What do you think about my idea love?” A mischievous glint appeared in Wyn's eyes right after he suggested it.
“I like your idea. After that we should go into the specific spot lane where it grows. I would like to add, that we should come prepared— to bring our own plowing materials... To get if off its root to bring the thing home.” We can always speak nonsense things to each and we still find it entertaining. Just likes this one.
“You're right. The petals are in need to be taken out of its branches... And we'll preserve it.”
“And put in a jar. Just like how I did with the flowers you gave me.”
Wyn smiled after my reply. He never failed to gave me a bunch of flowered bouquets every month and he did it during a time where I wasn't expecting to receive it from him. I thought he will be sticking to a scheduled date to hand it to me but he didn't. And him giving me flowers still surprises me everytime he did it.
“That too is something I wouldn't get tired of doing.” Wyn said it in such way that sounded like a promise that I know he cannot and will not break...
