"You're happy." Said Theo when we got home.
"Yup. Thank you for being nice with Matthew a while ago. I know how much you hate him." I said then I walk upstairs to have a shower.
"I just did that for you. You know that." He answered.
"That's why I'm thankful." I said then I completely went to my room upstairs.
I took a cold shower to clean myself since I sweat a lot.
"Jesus!" I exclaimed when I saw Theo lying in my bed while doing something in his phone.
I am just using a towel to cover my whole body!
"What?" He asked then he looked at me that made his eyes wide. "I'm sorry." He said then he turned around so I ran towards my walk in closet. Thankfully it has a door.
He used to stay in my room whenever he wants or he's bored and I am allowing him since we're really close. But when he moved to States, I became so comfortable that I'm walking around in my room even if all I have to cover my body is my bath towel.
Argh so dumb of me to forget that he's already here.
"Hey. I'm all dressed." I said when I went out of my walk in closet. I sat on the small couch near my bed. I took the remote control and opened my television.
"Let's watch some movie." I said then I selected a horror movie.
"A snack is highly needed at times like this, Miel." Theo said then he sat properly in my bed.
So I went to a small pantry area in my room then I took something to eat, mostly chocolates. Then we watched the movie.
"Do you know who's the killer?" Theo asked when we already get to the climax of the movie.
"I have something in mind." I answered then I smiled. "Any bet?" I asked.
"Mine is Tommy." He asnwered. "How about yours?" He asked then he look at me.
"Well I think it's Clara." I answered.
"What? Clara's too silent and weak for that. She's always scared." He complained.
"So you chose Tommy because he's short tempered and always saying things about killing, aren't you?" I said.
"From what I see, I think Tommy is just saying things like that to make himself brave but in fact, he's scared too. While Clara is always silent and crying, making her look weak. I think that's her way of hiding her identity. He's making the people around her think that she's weak so they won't be suspicious of her." I explained then I looked at Theo which is staring at me.
He looked away and focused his eyes in the TV.
"Well you have a point. But I do think Tommy is the killer. It's not because he's short tempered but because there are clips that he's going somewhere else and he's not with them every time. " He said.
"Well then let's see. Who will win." I said then I came back from watching.
We watch the movie intently then in the end, we learned that Clara is the killer and Tommy is her accomplice. But I still won.
"I told you. But not bad since Tommy's an accomplice. But still, I won!" I said then I tease Theo.
"That's just your luck." Theo said to defend himself.
"Na ah. I can't hear anything. I'm disappointed that you didn't noticed what I noticed." I said teasing him more.
"But arghh I should have asked you for something." I complained.
"What is it?" He asked.
"Nevermind. You won't like it anyway." I said then I turned off my tv.
"C'mmon what is it?" He insisted.
"Stop going with us whenever Matthew ask me on a date." I said.
"Are you crazy? No!" He immediately said.
"See? I knew that would be your reaction." I said while laughing.
"You know I still cannot trust that man." He complained.
"Yeah I know. Get up now and let's go downstairs to eat dinner." I said then I went out of my room, leaving him there.
"Mom!" I called mom when I reached the kitchen. She was cooking caldereta for our dinner.
"Darling." She called back. "Wait there. I'm about to finish cooking." She said.
"It's okay mom, no hurry." I said then I sat on the kitchen stool behind her then I watched her cook.
"By the way, Darling. Did you enjoyed your date with Theodore?" She asked.
"Mom! It's not a date." I immediately complained.
"What? It's a date. You went out alone. That's a date, darling." She explained and I can feel that she's too happy because of that.
"If only you knew Mom! He's not the one I dated."
I told to myself, lowering my voice so mom won't hear it.
"It's okay, tita. We went to a funfair and we ride her favorite Ferris Wheel." I heard theo suddenly said.
He's here now. He walk towards me and sat beside me.
"Really? I'm happy that you're always making memories with Miel in her favorite ride.." Mom said then we all became silent.
It's true. Theodore is with me in all of my experiences in riding a Ferris Wheel
"What are you cooking for dinner, tita?" Theo asked Mom to break the silence.
"Your favorite Caldereta!" Mom answered with a big smile.
"Really? I'm so excited. I missed it." Theo responded then they had a long conversation about many things.
While me, I was thinking on how can I introduce Matthew to them and get him close with Mom when she really likes Theo a lot.
We ate together after Mom finished cooking and there I saw how much Theo and Mom get together so well.
I became more anxious. Will she accept it if I tell her that I like another man?
Matthew and I had a late night talk that night and thankfully, that made me forget about my problem.

"Hi Miel! You look blooming today!" Janice said when we met at the locker room.
"Really?" I asked.
"You didn't tie your hair. It suits you." She complimented.
"I'm glad it is." I said then I took the books that I need in my first two subjects.
I decided to just took off my ponytail because I can't took off my eyeglasses. I don't know but I just felt like I have to be beautiful for Matthew.
"Ah, Miel. T-there's something that I want to tell you." Janice suddenly said.
"What is it?" I asked then I close the door of my locker and I locked it.
"It's about....." She said but she can't continue.
"About what?" I asked then we started to walk to go to our classrooms.
"I h-heard--"Hi babe." Matthew interrupted what Janice was going to say. He was standing beside the door of our locker room.
"Matthew. You're here." I said.
"Yeah. Let's go to our room together." He said.
"Okay." I answered.
"Oh hi Janice." He greeted Janice when his eyes landed on Janice which is silent and she looks like she saw something that ruined her mood.
"Ah Janice, what is it that you want to tell me?" I asked.
"Nevermind. I'll go in my room now. Enjoy. See you later." She said then she walk away.
"Huh? She's acting strange." I said.
"Maybe she's stress in her school works." Matthew said. "Let her have her space for now. Can we go now?" He asked.
"Okay." I answered.
He placed his arm in my shoulders like he always do then we walk towards our classroom.
"That best friend of yours. Why isn't he studying?" Matthew asked.
"He already finish his first semester in states. I think he'll be studying here too next semester. " I answered.
"Tss. Look how small the world is. I really hate that man." He complained.
"He's kind. You two just have to hang out with each other more often for you to get to know each other." I said, hoping that he'll do it.
"I don't think that will work, babe." He said then he pushed me lightly to enter our classroom.
Hay. How can I make him and theo become close?
I was busy thinking about a plan to make them close when Matthew suddenly lean closer to me and whispered "I love you, babe."
Then he walk towards his seat.
This man. He's ways sweet.
I followed him since we're seatmate. I was about to put my books in my table when I saw a boquet of flower there.
I looked at Matthew in disbelief and he just winked at me with his famous grin.
Hey heart, calm down. Stop pounding loudly.
I smiled and took the boquet then I smelled it.
These are roses and they are not my favorite sunflower but it still look pretty plus it's from him. It's enough to make the butterflies in my stomach alive again.
The teacher came right exactly when I sat in my chair. She greeted us good morning and she started the discussion immediately.
"I'm a bit bored. Her discussion was so dull." Said Matthew beside me, referring to how the teacher teach us.
He's right. Her discussion was dull and many students do not understand what she was saying for sure since she cannot remain all of our attention to her.
Suddenly, Matthew lean closer to my ear and whispered.
"I want a kiss." He whispered.
"We're in our classroom." I whispered back.
"Yeah and we're sitting at the back so I think it's safe?" He said.
"Matthew, you can't do that." I softly said.
"Hmmm." He pouted. "I just want a kiss in my cheek. That's all I want." He said then he look away.
"Babe, you know it's hard to give you what you want now." I said softly.
But he didn't respond nor look at me. He's ignoring me now.
I heave a sigh and stared at him, thinking if I should kiss him or not.
Should I?
It's just a kiss in his cheek maybe it's alright. It's just his cheek not his lips.
So I decided to kiss him so he will stop acting this way.
I looked around to see if someone is looking at us. Thankfully, there's no one. So I immediately lean closer to Matthew to kiss his cheek but he suddenly look at me so my lips touched his lips.
My eyes widened from what he did so I immediately stay away and look in front where our teacher is standing while teaching us. She's writing something in the board and it's a relief for me because that means that she didn't see it.
I look at Matthew.
"Matthew." I called in disappointment but I must admit that he did made me feel butterflies in my stomach again because of what he did. But it's not the one I should focus on.
"It's so soft..... and sweet." He said then he flashed a big smile in his face.
"That's smooth, bro." Angelo said since he saw what Matthew did in his peripheral vision because he's sitting next to Matthew too.
The two talked so I sat here and kept my mouth shut.
God. Thankfully no one witnessed that, only Angelo.
But what he did......
I secretly touched my lips after I remembered that kiss.
He's right. It's sweet.

"Finally! Recess time." Angelo and Matthew said in chorus.
While me, I'm fixing my things.
"Let's go, babe." Matthew said when he saw that I'm already done in what I'm doing.
"Okay. Let's go." I answered then we walk towards the door.
"Wait. I'll call Janice." I said when we're about to go to the cafeteria.
"No need. I'm going to fetch her." Angelo said then he went towards the way in Janice's room.
"Thank you." I said.
"Hey. You don't have to thank him. I think those two were dating that's why he volunteered." Matthew said that made me shock.
"What? Janice is not telling me about it." I said.
Then I remember her behavior a while ago. Maybe that's what she wants to say.
I shrugged my shoulder and continue to walk with Matthew and Carl.
A crowded people and noise welcomed us when we arrived at the cafeteria.
"What the?"
"I knew it?"
"She's a flirt."
"Yup a gold digger too."
"Plus a delusional woman."
What are they talking about.
"They're here!" Someone shouted so all those eyes looked at us.
They moved away and let us saw what is the commotion all about.
There we saw a table with many pictures of me being carried by a man and I was hugging him like we're sharing intimacy.
What are these?
"What is the meaning of these pictures, Miel?" Matthew suddenly said. His voice were serious and so his eyes.
"I-I don't know where all of these came from. I'm not seeing anyone. I don't even know that guy." I explained.
"Then what are these?" He said then he took the pictures and showed it to me closer.
"This is you and your sleeping like you're so tired. What did you do with this man?" He said and that provoked my tears to fall down.
"W-what? Do you think I am a dirty woman? Do you think I will let that man touch me?" I asked in disappointment because of what he's saying. But then he said something that made me cry in pain more.

"Stupid reasons. There are evidences."
Then he left me there and all I can do is to cry. Why are these happening to me?
"You deserve it, flirt!"
"That's what you get from messing around Matthew and Ahliya."
I heard all of that bad and hurtful words but it doesn't hurt me even a bit. All I can feel is sadness because Matthew didn't listen to me. He doesn't trust me.
The two mean girls who's always with Ahliya took a plate of food and was about to throw it to me when they suddenly stopped and become afraid.
I look where they were looking and there I saw Carl glaring at them sharply. He look at me with his annoyed eyes.
"Stupid." I heard Carl said then he held my hand and pulled me away from the crowd.
