It's the same blue car that Matthew owns.
I move a little and tried to see the driver of that blue car. Unfortunately, I failed since the car started to move immediately after Ahliya finally got inside.
"Rein, what's the matter?" Theo asked that made me come back to my senses.
I looked at him and shook my head.
"Nothing. I just thought I saw someone I knew." I explained.
"Are you sure? You look uneasy. Is it Matthew?" He asked worriedly then he held my left shoulder.
"Y-yeah but I guess it's not." I said then I went to the passenger's seat and went inside the car on my own, leaving him there.
Theo quietly entered the car and sat on the driver's seat. He started the engine without saying anything. He looks so serious.
But it doesn't bother me that much it's Matthew whom I'm thinking of.
For the past few weeks, this is the first time that I saw Ahliya again. I haven't heard any news about her and I never encountered her. I don't know if she stop going to school for a while or it's just me who's not observant of my surroundings?
But that's not the question. Why would Matthew allow her to enter his car. Are they dating? But Matthew told me that he likes me. And I saw how he showed Ahliya that he doesn't care about her anymore. And besides, I wasn't able to confirm if the driver is really Matthew.
So maybe it's not Matthew's car. Maybe those cars just have similarities. I hope so.
"We're here, Rein." Theo said that made me stop from thinking about things about Matthew and me.
"Ah yeah. Thank you." I said then I opened the car door and was about to go outside when my seatbelt stopped me.
Arghhh how can I forget that I'm not yet unbuckling my seatbelt?
I held my head out of frustration then I heaved a sigh.
Suddenly, Theo went closer. He reach for my seat belt then he unbuckled it.
"Stop over thinking about things, Rein. You need to focus on your exams." Theo said then he looked at me.
"I'm sorry." I said then I sighed for the second time.
"No need to say sorry. Let's go now. You only have fifteen minutes left and you'll be late in your first subject." He said.
He was about to open his car when I stopped him.
"No." I immediately said that made him frown.
"Why?" He asked.
"Y-you can go home now. I can go to my classroom on my own." I said then I looked away.
"I know. But I still want to take you to your room." He said.
No. You can't. People will misinterpret everything and they will make more stories about me even when they know nothing.
"Please. Let me go alone. I can manage." I pleaded.
"I don't know why you're acting like that. We'll be going to school togther starting next week. What's wrong with taking you to your classroom today? It's not like I'm stealing you from that Matthew. I'll leave you with Matthew if we'll pass by him if that's what you're thinking of." He said.
"No. It's not like that. We can go to school together but not now. Please." I said.
He heaved a sigh since he have no choice.
"Fine. Go now. Take care." He whispered and just leaned his body to his seat
"Thank you, Theodore." I said then I smiled at him before going out of his car.
I immediately went inside the school and was about to walk fast towards our building when I suddenly saw Janice.
"I've been waiting for you since six o'clock in the morning. I thought we'll review in the library before the examination starts?" She said.
"Oh My God. I'm sorry. I forgot about it. I'm really sorry." I said while holding her hand.
"Yeah. Are you okay?" She worriedly asked.
"Yeah. Just a bit tired." I said.
"Are you sure? And what's with the shades? Where's your eyeglasses?" She asked.
"It's in my bag." I answered.
"Do you have something in your eyes?" She asked while staring in my eyes.
"It's swollen, Janice." I said.
"What? Why? Let me see." She said then she remove my glasses for a second.
"You cried the whole night?" She asked.
"Y-yeah." I answered shyly.
"Come here." She said then she suddenly drag me to the comfort room near the guard's house.
"We'll conceal that. I have make ups here." She said then she took a small kit from her bag.
She opened it and I saw many beauty products in it. She took a cream small cylinder container. She opened it then she took off my shades.
"Look up, Miel." She said.
"Huh? Why?" I asked.
"Just do it." She ordered so I obeyed her.
She put something liquid under my eyes then she blended it using a small foam.
"Now close your eyes." She said and I immediately did it.
She tapped my eyelids using the foam many times and God knows how I'm so ignorant of what Janice is doing.
"Done." She said so I opened my eyes.
"What is this for?" I asked.
"Look at the mirror." She said so I did and it surprised me.
My swollen right eye looks normal now.
"How did you do that? I asked.
"Magic?" She said then she laugh. "Come here now. I need to move faster. We only have ten minutes." She said then she did the same process in my left eye and I ended up looking like nothing happened last night.
"Wear your eyeglasses now. I know you're uncomfortable and vulnerable without it." Janice said so I took my eyeglasses and wore it.
"Thank you, Janice." I said then I hugged her.
"No problem. Let's go now. I don't want to be late." Janice said after fixing her things.
She grabbed my hand again and ran like what she did before when we first met.
I suddenly remember how my life changed starting that lazy Monday. I met this beautiful woman and became her friend. I became close with Matthew, I fell in love with him easily and became his girl.
Now that I realized how fast everything happened, I suddenly developed a feeling of fear. Is everything alright? Is everything real?
"Go now, Miel!" Janice shouted then she pushed me inside our classroom.
"Hey, I almost los---"Sorry. You're teacher is already here in the building that's why I did that." She explained then she started to walk towards her room.
I was about to turm around when he look back again.
"See you later!" She said then she gave me a flying kiss.
She's so cute and sweet.
I smiled and looked at my seat at the back. There I saw Matthew doing something on his phone. I walk towards my seat and sat there.
I assumed that Matthew will notice me and will talk to me but he didn't. He was so busy in his phone that he became unaware of my presence.
I stared at him, waiting for him to notice me.
Minutes later, our teacher came and that's when Matthew stopped using his phone.
I remained from sitting while staring at him.
He hid his phone in his pocket and was about to stand up to greet the teacher like what our classmates will do when he finally saw me.
He flinched a little in surprise then he looked at me with his widened eyes.
"A-ah, babe. You're here. How long have you heen here?" He asked and I can see that he's uneasy.
"Just now." I answered.
"R-really?" He asked with a trembling hand.
"Good morning, ma'am." Everyone stood up and greeted our teacher except for me and Matthew.
We we're both sitting in our seat while staring at each other.
"I-is there something wrong?" He asked because I didn't replied to him a while ago.
"Hmmm." I said then I shook my head. I look at his eyes and it made him more uneasy. "I just missed you." I said then I look in front.
"Good morning. You may now sit." The teacher said which our classmates immediately obeyed.
"Today is your examination in my subject. I'm not so strict so I won't ask you to sit one sit apart from each other. You all are already old enough to distinguish right from wrong so I'm expecting you to do it even if I don't told you to do so." Said the teacher while walking side by side.
"Now, I will distribute the papers to all of you." She added then she took the test papers.
She went to the student in front near the door. She counted how many students are there in that row then she counted the paper too and give it to the student in front and she did the same to the remaining rows.
"Please get one and pass." She said and the students in front obeyed her.
Seconds later and we all now have our test papers.
"Kindly answer the test papers now." The teacher said then she sat on her chair in front and did some paperworks so I started to answer my test paper.
Minutes have passed. I was peacefully answering the last part of the test when Matthew called me.
"Babe, do you know the answer in number twenty six?" He asked.
"Yeah. Wait there. I'm about to finish answering this. I'll give you my test paper after this." I said.
"Really?" He asked.
"Hmmm" I answered.
"Thank you so much, babe." He whispered.
"Hey Miel, how about me?" Angelo suddenly asked, whispering.
"Just copy the answers that Matthew will put in his test paper." I answered.
"Yes. Thank you." Angelo said as if he won a lottery.
"How about you Carl? Do you want Miel's answer?" Angelo asked Carl.
"No. I can answer it my own." He simply said while busy answering his test paper.
The conversation ended after that so I just continue answering my test paper too.
Minutes later and I'm done answering the exam so I immediately gave Matthew my test paper.
"Thank you, babe." He said then he started to copy my answers together with Angelo.
"I love you." I said.
"Love you too." He responded while busy writting the answers on his paper.
I stared at him and examine him. He's so stunning that I can't keep my eyes off him. No wonder almost all the girls here in our campus likes him. In this moment I realized how lucky I am that I got him and how easily he can ruin me if I lose him.
So I'm glad we're okay now. Even if it's just one day that we didn't talk and held each other's hand, I still missed him so much.

"Ugh! Two more to go and we're done for today." Said Matthew after our two exams ended.
I didn't say any word since I have nothing to say so I just fixed my things quietly.
"Hey." Matthew said softly then he held my arms.
"Hmm?" I asked.
"You're silent. Are you mad?" He asked.
"Huh?" I asked. "I have nothing to say so I'm quiet." I innocently said.
"I thought you're ignoring me." He said then he pouted.
"Huh? Why would I? You didn't do anything wrong." I said that made him quiet. He just stared at me while still holding my arms.
"Why?" I asked, confused of what he's doing. He's acting weird.
"Nothing. Let's eat now." He said then he placed his arm in my shoulder. We went out of the classroom.
"Miel!" Janice called with so much joy but her smile vanished when she saw Matthew. She stared at him sharply.
"Ah Janice, you're here already? I was just about to fetch you in your room." Angelo said then she went to Janice and held her in her waist. "Let's go?" He asked Janice and Janice obeyed him silently.
She's acting strange this past few days. What happened to her?
All of us walk towards the cafeteria to eat snacks before taking the next two exams that we need to take this day.
"Oh My God."
"They're still together?"
"That nerd cheated right? Why is she still with them?"
I heard many criticism the moment all of us entered the cafeteria. They were all shock and against by me being still with Matthew despite of what happened yesterday.
We walk towards a long table and sat there. Angelo and Janice voluntered to order our foods so Carl, Matthew and I was left in the table. I'm continuously hearing criticisms and I am expecting that Matthew will comfort me like he used to but he's busy with his phone again.
He was sitting in front of me so I can't see what he's doing so I just shut up and lazily leaned my head directly in the wooden table.
I am expecting a hard landing surface but I ended up landing in someone's hand.
I look at the owner of the hand and saw that it's Carl.
"That table is hard, stupid." He said the removed his hand in the table and looked away.
Minutes later and the two came with our foods. They distributed it to everyone and we all started to eat except Matthew. He's still busy with his phone.
"What are you doing?" I asked Mattew then I held his hand, attempting to rotate his phone in my direction and look at it but he didn't let me.
He looked at me and smiled.
"It's mom. She's ranting about our maids." He said then he hid his phone in his pocket. "Let's eat. He said then he started to eat. While me, I stopped for a while and just stared at him.
Why is he so strange?
