Miel locked herself inside her room the whole afternoon after going home from shopping.
She tried all the make ups that she bought until she finally learned how to do make ups. She also used one of her high heels the whole afternoon to train herself in using it.
When the night comes, Mariella, Miel's mother knocked on her door to invite her to eat dinner.
"Miel, Darling? Dinner is ready. Come with me downstairs." She said.
Mariella is worried about her daughter because of her behavior these past few days. She keeps on locking herself inside her room and it bothers Mariella a lot.
"Yes, mom." Miel said then she went out of her room with her new eyeglasses. It's more fashionable now and it looks cool to her.
"Darling, you're beautiful." Mariella said out of the blue.
"Really, mom?" Miel asked with joy. "I changed the frame of my eyeglasses yesterday with Theodore." She said.
"Does it make you feel confident?" Mariella asked her daughter.
"Yes mom but I'm not gonna wear this at school. I'll use my contact lenses that you bought me instead." Miel answered that made her mother surprise.
"Really? What's with the sudden change of style, darling?" Mariella asked in curiousity.
"I just want to look good, Mom." She answered then she walked downstairs and her mother followed her.
"Dad!" Miel exclaimed when she saw her father sitting in the dining table while waiting for them.
"Hello, sweetie." Her dad said. He stood up and went towards Miel to hug her.
"It's been a while. I missed you." He said that made Miel smile.
"Yeah. I missed you too, dad." Miel said with all her heart since it's the truth. She missed her dad so much, especially when she learned the truth that Matthew is cheating on her and that he just used her to get Ahliya.
It was a painful experience and she admit that she can't still foget it. That she always think about it, asking herself what did she do wrong to experience all of these pain. She just love Matthew. It was her first time so she gave everything she could.
"How are you? I'm sorry for being so busy always." Her dad said then he let go of Miel.
"I'm okay dad. Don't worry." She said and smiled at her father.
"I'm okay. I will be okay. I'll make sure that I'll ruin them and with that, I'll be okay again." Miel said in her head.
"What's with this scene? You two hugged without me." Mariella said then she pouted that made Miel and Reynald looked at her.
Reynald chuckle in his wife's behavior. She's always so sweet and jolly, opposite to him but still they clicked like they're destined. People always say that their love story is like the saying "opposite attracts."
"I want a hug too." Mariella said then she hugged her husband and her daughter tight.
"M-mom it's hard to breathe." Miel complained while being hugged tightly by her mother.
"That's how I love you, darling." Mariella said and they all laugh.
Their family had their dinner that night with a happy and comfortable atmosphere which Miel missed so much.

On the next day, Miel woke up so early in the morning. She prepared for her classes today immediately and tried her new clothes. After almost two hours of preparing, Miel went out of her room wearing a black off shoulder ruffle hem dress that is fitted in her sexy body. She curled her hair and did not tie it. For her shoes, she wore her black three inches pointed high heels and she put make ups in her face that made her look exactly different from who she was before, when Matthew used her.
"D-darling is this really you?" Mariella said in disbelief when she saw her daughter walking downstairs.
"Do I look good, Mom?" Miel asked with a smile after reaching the living room which made Mariella surprised.
"She's confident now." Mariella said to herself.
"Not just good, darling. You look fabulous." Mariella complemented and she can't help but to hug her daughter.
"I don't know what happened to you, darling. But I'm happy that you're changing and improving yourself. However, always remember that no matter how you look, you're still beautiful and I love you so much." Mariella whispered in her daughter's ear.
"I know, Mom. I love you too." Miel said and hugged her mother back.
"Let's eat now." Mariella said then they ate their breakfast.
After eating, when Miel is about to leave, Theodore came and approached Mariella.
"Good morning, tita." Theo said then she hugged Mariella.
"Good morning, Theo. Did you came to fetch Miel?" Mariella asked Theo when they let go of the hug.
"Yes, tita. We'll go to school together everyday." He said.
"Oh. That's nice. Anyway, two have a sense of fashion huh. Your clothes look fashionable but I think that won't last long." Mariella said, complementing their style but what she said in the end made the two confused.
"Huh? / What do you mean, tita?" Miel and Theodore asked in chorus.
"Nothing. Go now and don't be late." Mariella said then she pushed Theo and Miel out of her house.
"Enjoy studying. And please, Miel you have to do what you have missed." Mariella said then she closed the door, leaving Miel and Theodore confused.
"Mom is really weird, isn't she?" Miel said while staring at their front door.
"Yeah, maybe. " Theodore replied.
"Anyway. Let's go. " Miel said walk towards their gate to go out and go to Theo's car.
Theodore followed her and took his car keys in his pocket then he unlocked his car. Then, he went to the passenger's seat and opened its door for Miel.
"Thank you." Miel said then she went inside the car.
After securing that Miel's good, Theodore closed the door and walk towards the driver's seat then he went inside too.
"You look beautiful." Theodore said without looking at Miel then he started the engine.
Miel was too stunned to speak. She didn't expect that Theo will compliment her that way without teasing her. Usually, Theo will just compliment her after teasing her to ease her feelings. But now, he complimented her like he really saw how beautiful Miel is.
"Is it because I'm wearing a make up now and I'm no more wearing my eyeglasses?" She asked that made Theo looked at her.
He frowned at her.
"Don't say that. You're beautiful even with your eyeglasses. You just became more beautiful without it." Theo said then he looked back in the road and drove towards their school.
