“Aaahhhh!!!!” I messed my hair in frustration. Dang! I must be insane when I said those words to him. Omayghad! I was about to shout again when L, prevented me so.
“L…” I almost plead when calling her name. She only stared at me, blankly.
“L!” I shouted as I tugged the hem of her uniform when she attempts to turn her back on me.
“Your fault. Deal with it” I frowned at her and let go of tugging her uniform. I frowned again when I saw him approaching our direction.
“He’s here, have fun” I watched L, walking her way out of the shooting range. I sighed when I remembered she has things to do so she can’t be on my side. If I know, she doesn’t want to be a third wheel. I cleared my throat and shook the thought out of my system. I am really insane! Geez!
“Here you go…” I sighed again as I reached the snacks in his hand. He is holding bottled water. And I wonder why he has only one. How about me? What if I am thirsty and choked out of nowhere?
“Where’s mine?” I asked him. He looks confused at first. He tilted his head as he thinks of an answer.
“Yours?” I nodded at him. He innocently looked at me and smiled cheekily.
“We’ll share,” he said. My forehead creased. Share?
“What?” I asked, shocked. He didn’t deliberately say, we’d share in that one bottled water? Is he?
“You heard me” the nerve of this guy. Aish!
“Let’s go? We’ll be left behind” my eyes widen a bit when he put his left arm on my shoulder and tugged me to walk beside him.
I couldn’t concentrate on the movie we’re watching because he keeps on glancing at me. “One more look and you’ll find your head rolling on the floor,” I said. I tilted my head when he only chuckled at that.
“Uhuh, though, I couldn’t see any more when my head was out of my body” he is neither sarcastic nor stating a fact. I closed my eyes shut for a moment. I couldn’t seem to hold myself any longer if one more word will come out on that playful mouth of his.
“What is it again?” I whispered to him when he nudged me on the side.
“Let’s get out from here,” he said. I was confused when he glances at every corner of the place.
“Why?” I still asked even though I can sense that there’s something wrong.
“Just move” I didn’t have a choice but to move out of the place. I clicked my tongue and secretly looked for something suspicious. I raised a brow when I saw some men in black at the far corner of the room. They didn’t even hide their stares, they are really confident, huh? Tsk.
I reached for my sling bag and touch my gun. In case, something happens, I am prepared.
"How about those people? What if they hurt them?" I asked him, concerned about the others.
He shook his head as he held me in my arms. "No, they can't. We're in public" I tilted my head as I think what he said.
"Are you the target of those men in black?" I asked, still cautious in everything around me.
"Not sure..." I furrowed my brows LP
with his answer. He's not sure, okay. I raised a brow at him when he looked at me, suspiciously. I mouthed 'what?'
"You're not thinking that I am, are you?" I said as I stopped walking caused me to almost hit my head on his broad shoulder.
"Not that, you're an innocent one" I bit my lower lip as I looked away from his intense gaze. What the hell is he talking about?
"I am," I said and glanced over my shoulder and have a glimpse of those men, secretly following us, two.
"Is that so?"
"Well, think about what you want to think of me. I don't really care" I shrugged off and walked past him.
"Hey! Wait for me!" I heard him, said. I rolled my eyes as I went into the parking lot of the mall. When I spotted his car, I went beside it and leaned on the passenger's door. But before I can even do that, I heard a 'whoosh' sound at my right and as a reflex, I get myself down.
"Damn!" I heard him curse when he saw a dagger, struck out on his damn-newly-bought car. As he said so.
"Get in" I abruptly looked at him. He's already inside the driver's side. I ducked when another dagger was aimed at my head. I clicked my tongue as I reached for my gun and aimed it at the light post. As soon as I saw the man take a peek, I pulled the trigger.
Bang! Headshot!
"Beep!!" I held my chest out of shock and glanced at the guy inside the car. He has a name though, but I really don't remember so just call him anything.
"You startled me, Geez!" I shouted and frowned when I saw him grinning at me. I rolled my eyes and get in the passenger's seat. When we were able to get away from that place, I gritted my teeth as I am watching two black vans that have been tailing us, in the rearview mirror.
"Who the hell are they?" I asked him. He glanced at me for a second and back to the road.
"Some annoying goons," he said and went silent again.
"Do we have to exchange bullets at the road?" I asked him. I furrowed my eyebrows when he's staring in front intently and smirked afterward. I glanced in front of us and my eyes widen when a ten-wheeler truck is fastly approached our way. I glanced at the back, and those vans were also fastly approaching the car we're in. It's as if they want to crush us to death.
I gritted my teeth as I held my gun tighter than ever. These jerks, they'll pay for this. Do they think they can really crush us in? Huh, they wish!
"What's your plan?" I asked him, he glanced and smirk at me.
"You figured it out, huh?" I was expecting him to answer me, but the hell? I rolled my eyes at him and leaned on my seat as I tried to relax my nerves.
"3.." I hurriedly looked at him when he started counting from 3... What the hell is he planning?!
"You! What are you planning to do?" I asked him as I am starting to panic as hell. Though I am not scared to die, it's just that, I don't want to become messy before I went to the burial of my father. Geez! This guy! He's crazy!
"2.." I held on tight to my seatbelt when he accelerated the car. He's really going towards that damn truck. I closed my eyes shut and heaved a sigh. Okay, let's trust this guy, for once. Oh my god! Give us your grace! This guy is out of his mind! Geez!
"1! - aaahhhh!!" I yelp when he suddenly makes a turn. I thought we're going to hit our car at a wall but then I felt the car was still on the run. Just then, I heard cars screeching and bumping into each other.
"Whoah..where are we?" I asked as I stared at the road we're taking as soon as I opened my eyes.
"To my place.." for a second, I felt cold and a little bit shocked. What did he say? His place?!
"What?!" I know it's a late reaction, but hell?! I just couldn't believe it.
I tilted my head as I seemed to forget something. I turned to him and hit his arm, hard. "You jerk! Do you really want to die?! Is it a sin to tell me what will you do? Huh?! You! We nearly died a while back!" I shouted and he just covered his ears with his free hand while still controlling the car.
"Then, you'll miss the thrill" I glared at him as I gritted my teeth. I was about to shout at him again when I turned frozen with what he said after...
"And you have me... You can't die when you're with me..."
