"Y-Yeah?" I answered, holding the phone with my trembling hands. ["Where are you?"] This was unexpected again... Why does he keep on surprising me? Is it actually part of making me a fool? To decieve me? To make me fully trust them? Him? Why? 'Cause I'm really fucking confused! I am confused as fuck when I felt something on my stomach and I am not that naive to not recognize what it is. But I can't help. Is this actually what they were saying, "butterflies in your stomach"? ["Hey?"] When he talked again, I didn't notice that I was keeping all the air on my lungs since he asked me. "Y-Yeah, uh, I mean I'm... h-here. At the route. I-I, uh, didn't actually succeeded when I tried to escape. You got the best ace woman, she didn't let me." I then let out an awkward chuckle. He didn't say anything so I just said my goodbye, "Henry will now drive me home but don't worry, I won't try to escape again. Bye." After I ended the call, my heart was loud as fucking fuck and I knew it was something different! What the hell is happening to me?! ——— THIRD POV "What?!" Shirley protested when Val told her that Dilly will have a rest the whole week. "Didn't she rested for freaking 2 weeks already?! For fuck's sake, Valkyrie! That girl is playing with your mind!" she continued protesting but Val seems in a deep thought to even listen to whatever they say. "Watch your mouth, Shirley! Can't you also remember how you made her a bait just to do our jobs quickly?!" "At least we succeeded! You should even thank me!" Her eyes were bloodshot and wide. Her face was red, boiling in anger. Her fists are also in a tight ball, tempted to punch Henry's face. But she knew, she couldn't for she was scared that Val might lose his temper amd hurt her again. She breathe in and out to calm herself and fortunately, she did calmed in no time. If there is one person who could tame her wild beast quickly, it was him, Valkyrie Stravinsky, who couldn't even pay a bit of attention to her right now. And it's painful for her to know that she wasn't the reason why Val is pre-occupied unlike what mostly happen to her whenever she think of him. But as she suppress her anger, it also grow bigger and bigger inside of her and before you know it, it already bursted out. So before it even happen, she ran out of the office and drove her car into her place. She thought of bursting out in the right place and in the right person. And that was when she knocked on Dilly's house door. "Open this door, fucking wench! You couldn't escape from me! Go back and be useful for fucking fuck's sake!" She kicked and punched the door but Dilly didn't open the door. They are just as stubborn as they are. That was why they couldn't be in the same place. But unexpectedly, Dilly suddenly opened the door and Shirley immediately threw a slap on her face. Dilly's face was already on the side ways but she didn't face her. Instead, she laughed as if nothing happened or nothing hurt her and slowly turned her face to Shirley. "Is this the game you want? Sure, I'll give it to you!" Dilly then slapped her face back two times but when she was about to slap her in the third time, she got to hold Dilly's hand tightly—so tight that Dilly couldn't pull it back. "You useless wench, you have done nothing but flirt! How dare you!" She pushed Dilly that made Dilly out of balance and she almost fell on the ground. Dilly tried to put her hands on the floor to carry herself, preventing not to totally fall out but her hands got twisted and Dilly's scream, groaning in so much pain, echoed in the house. Shirley then put her weigh and sat on Dilly's body and using her feet, she squeezed injured hands, making Dilly groan again as tears started welling up in her eyes. But instead of feeling guilty, Shirley laughed like a mad woman and whispered, "Does it hurt? Of course, it does! It should just hurt! You deserve it! You deserve every pain you're feeling right now... You should be the one who's suffering right now!" She took a gun from her pocket and pointed it at Dilly's head. "Any last words?" she asked while smirking, as if it was just a normal question to ask anyone, before clicking the gun. Dilly then answered, "I-I... p-pity... y-you—" Before Dilly could even finish what she wanted to say, a gunshot was heard in the entire place.
