Tomorrow will be our wedding day and everyone is so busy except me and Hesperia because they want us to rest for tomorrow. It's already night and I frowned when I didn't see Waylen on the bed so I looked at his crib so I got him there and laid him on our bed. We're at the hotel.
"He's sleeping with us, love." I said and she just chuckled at me. "Let's try the crib train some other time, love. We'll be leaving tomorrow so he should leave beside us."
"This is the last time, love. Pag balik natin hindi na pwede yung ganyan." She said so I nodded. "We should sleep. Maaga pa tayo bukas."
I woke up with Waylen crying so I gently patted his back then stood up when he didn't stop crying. I got him some milk then gave it to him. I look at Hesperia who's still asleep and smile.
The next day I woke up early and finalized everything before waking Hesperia up. We're having an intimate wedding so it's just family and close friends. It's a garden wedding.
"What time is it? I want to sleep more." She said which made me chuckle. I didn't answer her and let her sleep for five minutes. "Love, you didn't answer my question. Pag ako hindi bumangon dito wala kang papakasalan."
"I can marry you in our bed, love. So I can marry you even if you don't get out of our bed." I said as I helped her get up. "It's just 6 in the morning."
"Love ang aga pa pala. Sana mga 7 mo na ako ginising." She said and about to lay again but stopped then looked at me. "Where's Waylen?"
"I don't know." I answered her jokingly but then she shouted at me which made me laugh. "I'm kidding. He's with Drake and Leen."
"They get Waylen without my permission? How dare they?" She said and started walking which made me hold her hand. "I'll go get Waylen, Atlas. Let go of me."
"No, love. Let them take care of Waylen. You need to get ready." I said and hugged her from the back. "You're gonna be my wife later. I can't wait."
"Well I can, so let go of me and I'll go get Waylen." She said which made me roll my eyes. Here we go again. I really don't get why she's always irritated at me. "Trench."
"Love, come on. Let me cuddle with you."
"If only you didn't get Waylen in his crib last night edi sana nag cuddle tayo kagabi." She said as she tried to escape from my hug. "Atlas, let go of me. Baka pakainin nila ng chocolate si Waylen. Ang dami pa naman nilang chocolate." She said which made me let go of her then followed her. And when we get there they're really feeding Waylen chocolates!
"Waylen." I called Waylen as I got the chocolates in his hand. "What did Mama tell you about eating chocolates, Waylen?"
"Love, go and brush his teeth. I'll just talk to them." Hesperia said so I did then when she came back we proceeded on taking care of Waylen until Mom took him and said that we should get ready. "I'll go to the girls, love. See you later. I love you." She said and kissed my cheeks then walked away. She didn't even wait for my reply.
When the guys came in, Jay wasn't with them. "Where's Jay?" I asked and they all shook their heads. "I thought he'll be by my side?"
"He's not here so don't expect anymore." Kent said and started pushing me to the bathroom. "Take a shower then we'll talk." He said so I did. I wore my blue suit before going out.
"No perfume." I said when I saw Hiro holding a bottle of perfume. Hesperia hates the smell of my perfume so I don't use it. "She doesn't like the smell." I answered them when they asked. "But where's Jay?"
"He's nowhere to be seen so stop asking. Sit so Kent and I can talk to you." Drake said so I did. They talked about Hesperia so I listened carefully. "Let's go. Leen said that we should go there."
Drake and Kent are on my side as we all watch everyone walk down the aisle and now it's Hesperia's time to walk so I was getting emotional. I just can't believe that she'll finally be my wife.
"Oh wag masyadong umiyak." Kent said as he gave me a handkerchief. "Jay is still not here. Alam mo na gagawin sa kasal niya, ditch him too." He said and chuckled but I couldn't focus on him cause I'm so excited to see Hesperia.
I watch in teary eyes as I watch the curtain slowly open but laugh when I see Jay wearing a gown. "Are you ready to marry me?" Jay asked as he walked towards us and chuckled. "Are you surprised?"
"Where's my real bride? I don't want to marry you." I said and chuckled. "Tumabi ka na r'yan. Gusto ko na makita si Hesperia."
"Sure." He said and went beside me. I can't help but chuckle as I see him in the peripheral view of my eyes. "Stop chuckling and watch your bride." He said so I did but I keep on chuckling as I watch Hesperia but I wasn't a problem since she's also chuckling.
"Love, shall we?" I asked as I held her hand.
"Atlas Trench Macari and Bela Hesperia Gonzales, have you come here freely and without reservation to give yourselves to each other in marriage?" The priest asked and other questions so we answered 'I do'.
"I, Atlas Trench Macari, take you, Bela Hesperia Gonzales, to be my wife. I promise to be true to you in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health. I will love you and honor you all the days of my life." I said while looking at her eyes then smiled.
"I, Bela Hesperia Gonzales, take you, Atlas Trench Macari, to be my husband. I promise to be true to you in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health. I will love you and honor you all the days of my life." She said as her tears continued to roll in her cheeks.
The priest blessed each ring. "In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, take and wear this ring as a sign of my love and faithfulness." The two of us said as we put the ring to each other.
After the ceremony we proceeded to the after-party. It was fun but the after-party had other purposes, it's also to announce that she's pregnant again.
"Waylen, come here." I called Waylen and Leen brought him to us. "Thank you, Leen."
We took our photos and my hand was always on Hesperia's stomach. It's a habit. "Stop holding Bela's stomach like she's pregnant. Just hold the waist." Jay said and Hesperia chuckled.
"What if I'm pregnant that's why I'm wearing a ball gown?" Hesperia asked, then chuckled. "Let's proceed to the cake cutting. I can't wait to eat it."
We proceeded into cake cutting and when we cut the cake the inside of it was pink which made me scream. "We're having a girl, love!" I said and hugged her.
"I'm going to be a grandfather again!" Tito shouted which made us laugh. "I thought I had the best wedding gift but they had."
"What's your wedding gift, tito?" Kent asked and tito answered house and lot which made me and Hesperia shake our heads. "How about you Tito Levi?" And Dad answered the same thing.
"What are we doing with their gifts when you prefer staying at our condo?" I whispered to her and she chuckled.
"We can stay at it. It's probably far from them so I might prefer to stay there too." She said so I nodded. Well she got a point. "Is it fully furnished?" She asked which made me chuckle but our dads answered 'yes'. "That's great."
They proceeded with the after-party but Hesperia and I changed our clothes and proceeded with our flight to Maldives for our honeymoon but when we got there all we did was sleep.
"Love, wake up. Sayang ang pinunta natin dito kung matutulog lang tayo." Hesperia said as she tickled me. "Wake up, love." She said so I opened my eyes.
"What do you want to do?" I asked and she said a lot of things but she talked about food a lot. "Let's go eat. It looks like my lovely wife is hungry."
That day all we did was to eat and sleep. "Love, I miss Waylen already. Let's go home." She said as she sat on my lap. "I know that we just got here and we should enjoy our time together since we just got married but we have our responsibilities at home and besides you have a game two days from now."
"But you should enjoy your free time. But do you really want to go home?" I asked and she nodded and hugged me. "Then I'll book a flight for tomorrow. Is it fine with you?"
"Yes, love. Thank you." She said and showered my face with kisses. "I want cuddle, love." She said so I let her as I booked a flight.
"Dad. Are you still with us?" I heard Kalea said which made me snap from reality. I'm telling the story about our wedding with my 16 year old daughter because she's curious. "You and mom really went to Maldives just to eat and sleep?"
"What can you do, Avyanna? I'm pregnant with you at that time and I'm really sleepy everyday." Hesperia said and chuckled. "But even though we just sleep in Maldives we are happy."
"You should've brought me, Mom." Waylen said and hugged Hesperia. "But how did you guys meet again? I forgot about it."
"Your mom was my classmate and she's your tita Rose's best friend. Do you guys want to hear our love story from the start again?" I asked and they nodded. "Love, give them your book. We have to meet your cousins." I said and chuckled.
"Does that mean that kuya Zach, ate Dea, and ate Ailen will be here?" Kalea asked and Hesperia answered her as she gave her the book that was on our console table. "I'll ask them if they knew about this."
"But Mom, is that really true? It looks like a romantic fiction." Waylen said and chuckled. "It even has a title which is 'Our Love Story' isn't that too unrealistic?"
"Kuya, it has pictures so you can say that it's true." Kalea said as she showed Waylen. "Saka tayo lang may ganito. Ask tito or lolo if they have one they'll answer none. It's exclusive for us." She said which made me chuckle.
"Sure sure but you can't deny that the title is cringe." Waylen said, which made me look at Hesperia and laughed. "Mom, I didn't mean to offend you but 'Our Love Story'? Too common."
"Lucas Waylen Macari. What should we title our memory book? 'The memory book'? The 'Our Love Story' is better and don't question it anymore!" Hesperia said irritatedly which made me laugh even more as I watched Waylen slowly pull away from her. "Where are you going? You won't go out today, Lucas. Baka nakakalimutan mong nahuli kita na tumakas kahapon."
"I'll bring Waylen to his room." I said and stood up. I walked towards Waylen and gently dragged him out of our living room. "Next time don't mind the title of it and just keep quiet. Where are you going?"
"To our first house. Kuya Zach and I will play basketball there." He said so I let him go. "I won't mind the cringe 'Our Love Story' title of Mom's book again!" He shouted and I heard Hesperia shouted too.
"OUR LOVE STORY IS MINE AND YOUR DAD'S STORY SO DON'T MESS WITH IT, LUCAS WAYLEN MACARI!" Hesperia shouted as we both watched the car go out of our property. "How dare he? Our Love Story is a good one." She whispered which made me chuckle.
