Jirah arrived at the airport at 7:05 a.m. She immediately went straight to the information desk and asked if her scheduled plane number had flown. This was the statement of the attendant.
"Is your name, Jirah?" The lady nodded upon hearing her name. "I just canceled your flight and I changed your schedule to 7:30 a.m. You're on the next flight."
The woman scowled at what she had heard because she didn't think she'd make it. Terrence arrived later with his stuff. Jirah grinned as she took in the scene. She must have assumed the man had abandoned her all along, but she was mistaken. The actor was patiently awaiting her arrival. She approached the actor and snatched the luggage he was carrying right away.
While walking into the plane, Jirah asked the man.
"I'm sorry boss, if I kept you waiting. I didn't realize the time. Why do you want me to be in with you, in China? "
The man stopped first and stared at her. He still looked like he was mad at her because he was late. But, he still answered nicely. That was all mixed up with teasing words.
"As usual, because you're my assistant. What is someone like you really doing? Isn't it to serve me? Honestly, I don't want to be with you, you're just assuming."
"Is that so? You have your own designer there and an assistant. Then you still bring me. Maybe I'll just look like a fool there," Jirah complained.
Instead of answering him, the actor lifted an eyebrow at her, hinting that he must stop the girl from blabbering on. The restless woman remained silent until they boarded the plane. Upon entering, Jirah saw that Mangxie and Terrence's manager were waiting. They were waiting for her together, so she was even more guilty when she assumed that her boss was concerned about her.
Just a minute after sitting down with the woman, the passengers could hear her snoring throughout the plane. Why? Because she was so tired and drowsy that maybe she couldn't help but to sleep. Terrence and the passengers simply ignored the noise, putting on a headset so they could not hear it.
When Jirah woke up, she saw a utility man cleaning inside the plane. She looked around and it was clear in her eyes that she was the only one who did not get off the plane. The utility man approached her and said, "You're awake, Ma'am. I'm really waiting for you to wake up because in a few hours, this plane will fly again."
Jirah sighed and blew air while shouting, "Terrence..."
The utility man responded quickly.
"Your boyfriend?"
The woman just stood there staring at the utility man as she exited the plane. She simply walked straight, her eyes darting across the room at whichever angle she wanted to look. When she eventually exited the airport, she decided to call her boss and inquire about their whereabouts. She used whatsapp to quickly contact the actor and when she dialed the number, the other line just rang.
She was so annoyed that her colleagues left her at that time. So, she started walking down the street while not stopping contacting the actor. Later, during her ninth dialed call, the man finally answered.
"Oh, Jirah? You wake up already?" a man teases on the other line.
The woman could hear Terrence's short laugh as she was disgusted at leaving her alone. Even before she started speaking, she first moved her phone to the other ear because her right hand was tiresome on many dials she made.
"No, it's just a dream boss A. K. A. Mr. Stranger in my life. Where are you?" Jirah asked. She was almost run over by a taxi because she did not realize that she had crossed the lane while talking to the actor.
Terrence simply said that he would just text his address so that the woman would follow. The actor also did not leave his assistant alone because a taxi was already prepared for her to take her to the hotel where they were staying.
As he sat, the actor thought about what he had done to the woman. He felt guilty because he saw the assistant from the taping, then went with him to China and left her on the plane alone. He was cold-hearted towards women, but he felt differently about Jirah. It was as if his old feelings were returning to his childhood.
He took his diary inside his bag and wrote down all his experiences as well as his own feelings towards the woman that day. He wanted to take a nap, but Jirah's face was what he remembered. He wondered why it was like that about his feelings. Is he really falling for Jirah as his assistant or as his childhood best friend?
A few minutes later, there was a knock on Terrence's door. Jirah had arrived. Her hair was disheveled, her eyes were slender, and the aura on her face looked sleepy. The woman's walk into the man's room was already erratic. Eventually, she fell down and was immediately caught by the young man. Terrence thought that she had lost consciousness, but he was wrong upon hearing the girl was snoring due to tiring work and travel.
"Jirah... Jirah... awake. You can't sleep here. You have your own room. I have the key in my pocket. Hey! Jirah... awake," the actor said while shaking Jirah's face, but the woman's eyes were closed.
The man carried Jirah to his bedroom. He had no choice but to put the woman to sleep in his bed. He also didn't want to sleep on the sofa because he wasn't used to it, so they were lying on the bed together. As soon as he closed his eyes, the woman stretched out her hand and hugged the actor. Maybe the woman thought that the teddy bear was next to her, so she just did it even though Terrence could hardly breathe because of the nervousness he was feeling.
The man tried to pull Jirah's hand away from his embrace, but he just failed. Instead, the woman tied her two hands to the man.
"What is this Jirah? How can I sleep with this kind of— tsk..." he whispered to himself.
