KAYA'S POV I had control here, if I wanted him gone, he would go. And maybe this was what these realistic dreams were for. A way to let go, and realize my worth. The sooner he left the better. I pulled out of his grasp and he let go according to my wishes, as I slipped out of bed, tightening my robe. He looked at me intently, eyes never leaving me and I stared back at him for a moment. Before closing my eyes. How does this work again? It was easily done according to all the movies I had watched. All I had to do was believe, or wish or whatever it was and he would be gone. Taking a deep breath in, I let myself slip away, wishing with all my heart that he would disappear. After a few seconds, I opened my eyes, eyebrows arching when and frown overtaking my features when I still saw him there staring back at me with a subtle sadness in his eyes as if he knew exactly what I was doing. That was good, this meant I was halfway done. Closing my eyes again, I waited a few more moments, before opening them. He was gone. I breathed out slowly, staring at the place he had once occupied- “Still here,” a voice said and I jumped when I realized he was standing beside me, staring down curiously at me. My heart thudded deep inside me, a hand on my heart, turning to him. I must have done something wrong then. The longer he stayed and looked at me with those eyes, the harder it was getting to get him to disappear. Maybe I needed to voice it out so he could leave, you know, face him, face to face. I’ve watched this many times on TV. Tell your fear to go and it does. "A-Azian, I n-need you to leave," my voice came out utterly unconfident but hey that was the first step. At least I said it right? He watched me, a sudden cold feeling developed around me as if all the warmth had been taken away and I could feel the hairs on my body stand up. His eyes were unreadable, void of emotion but his lips were pursed in a thin line, “I want to stay,” he replied, his eyes shown gold. I felt my breath hitch at this and realized that unreadable emotion in his eyes was honesty. My emotions shifted in slides, wanting him to stay too but knowing this wasn’t right at all. Taking my eyes off him I shook my head swallowing hard, “y-you can’t” I finished swallowing hard before looking up at him, “please take your leave.” A cold gust of wind suddenly burst through, shaking all the pictures I had to hang up and my eyes widened in search for an open window or an open balcony door but everything was closed. I looked back at Azian and realized he was looking so much more different, his golden eyes seemed to turn into a burning gold, confusion in his eyes, "I need to be near you," he stated. My eyebrows furrowed this time feeling mad at something. Near me? If he wanted me he wouldn’t be with my sister. I was not some second-place trophy he could claim. I pulled my robe around me tighter as the wind grew around me, wondering where that dang breeze was coming from, my hair blowing in my face, my tone getting considerably more confident, “ Azian, I want you to Leave.” I stated this time more seriously. ’Why?" He asked firmly, his jaw ticking in notable frustration, "tell me so I fix it," He looked so earnest when he said it, and frustrated. But I was ready for the challenge, he wanted to know, to confess, to face my real feelings well here it goes, "I can't be entertaining you in my dreams Azian,” I gritted out, “Tell me how the hell am I supposed to get over you if I can't get you out of my mind, not at school or at home. You chose my sister over me, kissed me, and ditched me like I was nothing and here I am having the most realistic dream I've had so vividly and yet it’s all about you. How am I supposed to move on like this? I need you to leave, I need to heal.” I could see the struggle in his beautiful golden eyes as they struggled from blue to green to blue to gold. The wind howled furiously around me but I was too focused on getting the point across to him to care. His eyes were shut, shaking his head at me as if he didn’t like what he was hearing. Maybe it needed one more push? "I won't be the kind of girl that is okay with being treated like I don’t matter, because I do." The wind that had been blowing around me, rattling picture frames suddenly as he opened his eyes, but the temperature remained low. His eyes swirled like a whole galaxy with mixtures of gold, green, and blue as he placed both hands on opposite sides of me caging me in, he stared down at me, his jawline was rigid and his fists tight like he was holding something in. My breath hitched lowly as his eyes studied me, softening after a few moments, "I'll come back later, you need to rest," he finally said and without warning, he kissed my forehead, and darkness consumed me. All I remember was that I woke up the next day back in my own bed, everything in place I immediately checked the balcony door but it was locked. I sighed, what a strange dream. I trudged into the bathroom feeling for my braids I had done the other night but I couldn’t feel them. I spun around staring at my reflection in the mirror. My hair was fuzzy and soft falling down to my shoulders.
