Chapter 35 Eyes That Watch
The forest was quiet now, but the tension in the air still hung thick, almost tangible. My body still tingled from the heat of the night, the lingering memory of touches that shouldn’t have happened, but did. Cristof’s possessive aura, Cole’s dark, desperate desire, and Geri’s dominant, playful energy-each left their mark on me, literally and figuratively. My skin still burned from the lingering touches, and my chest tightened with emotions I wasn’t even sure I could name.
I stepped carefully between the trees, still in my training clothes, my hair tangled from the sparring session earlier. Cristof walked a little ahead of me, his expression unreadable, protective. Cole lingered just a few steps behind, his eyes always on me, always assessing, always waiting for my smallest movement. Geri walked beside me, exuding confidence, teasing, and possessiveness all at once.
I had no idea how to process it. How could I possibly sort through feelings for three men at once-three men who claimed pieces of my heart, and more importantly, pieces of my attention? My head spun, my heart raced, and even my body seemed to betray me.
Cole’s voice broke the silence first. “You’re quiet. Too quiet. Thinking about all of us, aren’t you?” His lips curved, darkly amused, his gaze lingering in a way that made my pulse jump.
I tried to hide my blush. “It’s just… a lot.”
Cristof shot me a look, sharp and possessive, the kind that warned anyone else to keep their distance. “A lot,” he repeated, voice low, almost a growl. “Do not let them see you falter. They do not know you like I do.”
Geri chuckled, brushing his fingers against my arm lightly. “They don’t, huh? I might not know every piece of your heart, Luna, but I know enough to know how to make you mine.”
I froze for a moment, heart hammering. The way he said it, with that teasing grin, that golden gaze-it made something flare inside me. Not anger. Not annoyance. Desire. A dangerous, complicated, confusing desire that made me want to melt into his arms and yet resist everything.
Cole stepped closer, his aura darkening, magnetic, impossible to ignore. “And I’m not here to let anyone else claim you,” he murmured. His hand brushed my shoulder, lingering, just enough to make my stomach twist. “I’ll wait. Always. But I’m not invisible.”
Cristof’s gaze darkened, protective and sharp. “Do not test me, Cole. I am your warning.”
The tension was thick enough to taste. I swallowed, feeling dizzy from the weight of all their intentions pressing down on me. I tried to focus, tried to breathe, but then something shifted-the sharp sound of movement caught my attention.
Radolf and Cloud were standing a few meters away, hidden partly by the trees, watching us. Their eyes were wide, unblinking, sharp with the kind of understanding that made me shiver.
Radolf whispered to Cloud, voice low but serious, “Do you see that? All three of them… around Bam. It’s more than training. It’s… something else.”
Cloud’s jaw tightened. “Yeah. That’s not just sparring or attention. That’s… possession. Protection. Desire. Every look, every touch-it’s like they’re claiming her piece by piece.”
I could feel them watching me, their judgment, their concern. I hated the feeling of being observed in such an intimate moment, even if it was unintentional. I tried to ignore them, but my heart didn’t listen. My chest was too full of conflicting emotions, my body still humming with the remnants of last night.
Cole noticed their glance first. His lips curled into a dark smile. “They see everything, don’t they?”
Cristof’s jaw tightened, eyes narrowing at Radolf and Cloud. “Stay out of this. This is not your concern.”
Geri laughed softly, low and teasing. “You two might want to take notes. This is how men treat their Luna.” His golden eyes flicked to me, mischievous, and my heart stuttered.
I could feel the tension in the air like electricity. My body reacted before my brain could even process. The memory of last night-the touches, the kisses, the hunger, the possession-flashed in my mind. My back ached, my chest tightened, even my throat ached from the way Cristof, Cole, and Geri had claimed me. My hair shimmered faintly in the sunlight, the white and violet strands catching light as if reflecting my chaotic emotions.
Cristof stepped close to me, gaze sharp. “Do not look at them. They are watching, yes. But they do not understand. I do. I always do.”
Cole brushed against me, whispering in a tone low and intoxicating, “And I do too. Always. No one else matters when it’s just us.”
I inhaled sharply, trying to steady my racing heart. “I… I can handle it,” I whispered, more to myself than anyone else. But the truth was, I wasn’t sure if I could. Not with all three of them wanting pieces of me, not with my body still tingling from last night, not with my emotions stretched to the breaking point.
Cristof’s hand brushed against my cheek, gentle but possessive. “You can. You will. And I will make sure of it.”
Cole’s voice, dark and low, pressed against my ear. “And I’ll be right here. Every step. Every moment. I’m not letting anyone else take what’s mine.”
Geri’s hand brushed against mine, firm and steady. “And I’ll claim what’s mine too. Don’t forget it, Luna.”
I felt dizzy, overwhelmed, and yet… I didn’t pull away. I let their presence envelop me, warmth, heat, possessiveness all mixed together. I didn’t know how I’d survive this tangled web of emotion, desire, and claim.
Cristof stepped closer, brushing a strand of hair from my face, lips hovering near mine. “No matter what happens, no matter who claims what, I am first. Remember that.”
Cole’s fingers intertwined with mine, pressing softly, possessively. “And I’ll wait for every other piece you’re willing to give.”
Geri’s hand rested on my shoulder, firm, teasing. “And I’ll take every chance you allow me.”
I closed my eyes, heart hammering, breath coming in short, shallow bursts. I didn’t know how to sort it all, how to balance my emotions, how to decide… or even if I wanted to.
And as I stood there, feeling their touches, their intentions, their possessive energy, I realized something: maybe I didn’t have to choose. Maybe, just maybe, I could let them all be a part of me, just as I was theirs.
And in the quiet of the forest, with Radolf and Cloud silently observing, I let myself feel it-all of it. Every claim, every desire, every warmth, every possessive touch.
Because for now, in this tangled web of hearts and desires, I was theirs. And they were mine.Download Novelah App
