Under seven minutes Eros was standing outside my door as he watched me pack some of the files I needed to finish at home. "You know you can leave those right?"
"Yes. But I really need to finish it." I replied as I looked at him. He had one of his hands placed inside his pocket while the other held his car key.
"I'm ready." I exhaled and straightened my skirt. I felt his eyes on my mid thigh and I swear his eyes were filled with lust. I cleared my throat in order to clear the awkwardness in the room.
Because we have this contract between us doesn't mean I was still not attracted to him, I definitely was!
He glanced up at my face and then gave me a small smile as we both made our way out of the office. Immediately we got out of the elevator, he wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me closer to him.
I couldn't stop the blush that rose to my cheeks. My colleagues all looked at us as if they just saw an alien, as if what happened this morning was enough. I looked around the lobby as we were making our way out and saw some interns giving me death glares.
Well, suck it up sweethearts!
He opened the passenger door for me, "thank you." I said as I took my seat and buckled the seat belt.
He sat on the driver's seat, "ready?" He asked as he started the car.
"Yh." I nodded my head and then texted Jade that I was going shopping with Eros.

After so many trials of cloth changing I finally picked up three short gowns, two long ones plus the one I was going to wear on Friday, series of tops with leather pants and skirts.
"You didn't have to do all of this." I said for the umpteenth time but Eros just ignored me. The prices of the cloth made my eyes widened, I could never be able to pay him back!
"Thank you." I looked up at him as we made our way to the cashier.
"It's my duty." He said and we both know it had double meaning. His duty as per he's my soon-to-be husband and the other one as per it's in the contract.
The cashier was a brunette, she had too much makeup on which made it look like it was mashed cake on her face. She tried so hard flirting with Eros in which he just pretended he wasn't aware.
"You know she was flirting with you right?" I asked once we entered the car.
He chuckled and said, "trust me I know. But if the contract didn't say we can't have any relationship till this is over," he started the car and then glanced at me, "you know what would have happened."
He would have flirted back.
I was silent throughout the ride back to my house. The only thing filling the silence was the soft music playing in the background.
"Let me help you with that." He said as he collected three bags out of the five I was carrying.
"Thanks." I smiled as I searched for the key to the door. I finally got the door open and we made our way inside.
"You can hand them over to me, I'll take them upstairs." I collected the bags and struggled to carry them all the way up the stairs.
"You could have let me help you." I heard me mutter but replied anyways, "no I'm fine." I groaned.
"Have your sit!" I shouted when I finally made it up the stairs.
I heard him chuckle from where I was. "Shut up!" I muttered but made sure he didn't hear.
As soon as I dumped the bags on my bed, I took off my makeup and changed out of my work cloth. I changed into a grey flannel pants and a blue top.
I made my way back downstairs only to find Eros gone. I heard a ding from my phone, it was him.
Sorry, I had something important to attend to.
Okay, no problem. I typed back and placed my phone on the couch. I went back upstairs to grab the file I needed to finish before tomorrow. I placed a cup of ice cream and a bag of Cheetos at my front and started eating as I worked. I was careful enough not to smudge anything on the files.
It took a shorter time than I'd expected to finish all the pending work. Immediately I was done I ordered a box of pizza and also sent a text to Jade asking if she wants to come over.
No, I have to go to Boston to see my mom. I'm sorry. We will definitely catch up when I come back. She replied.
I sighed as I typed back my reply, sure no problem. Extend my greetings to her.
I started watching Good girls in order to pass away the time waiting for the Pizza guy to arrive.
About seven minutes into the movie, I heard my doorbell ring. Yay! Pizza!
I took five bucks from my bag and made my way to the door.
"Thank you." I said as the Pizza guy handed me the large box of pizza. Don't look at me like that, I know I won't be able to finish it, so I'll just save the rest.
I handed him the five bucks, "have a great night." He smiled and then left. I closed the door as the aroma of the pizza filled my nostrils.
I made myself comfortable on the couch and started digging into the box of pizza. Oh shit! I forgot my orange juice!
I groaned aloud with pizza in my mouth as I suddenly wisher Jade was here to help me out. Though she was the one that was pregnant between both of us, but I was still the lazy one.
I kicked my foot lazily around but stood up anyway. I was about to pour myself a cup of orange juice but decided against it and carried the whole carton.
Don't you dare give me that look! I need to eat well.
