The next morning, I woke up earlier than usual, probably because of the thought of me being his wife finally settled in, even if we're not yet bounded by the contract. After we had our talk, before we left where we had our lunch, he told me he already made arrangements for the contract file to be made. And, we'll sign first thing tomorrow morning.
I cleaned up my room and the living room. Immediately I got home from work, Jade was the first person I called. Everything was happening so fast in a blur.
After I blurted everything out to her, she just reassured me it was going to be alright. And then, we took ice cream and watched Netflix.
Presently, I was in my kitchen making breakfast, bacon and eggs. I already put in my office wear, a black riffle cuff sheer Swiss dot mesh sleeve too and a black faux leather high- rise leggings, coupled with my black heels. Soon breakfast was ready and as I was about to make my way out of the door I heard a knock.
Funny, no one ever comes to my house, well apart from Jade and she's presently at work. I carried my black Moschino bag. Today I was going with all black.
Immediately I opened the door I was met with Eros's personal driver.
"Hi, James." I smiled at him, "what are you doing here?" I asked him confusion clearly written all over my face.
"Good morning Janet," he grinned back at me, "I was told to come pick you up by the boss."
"Pick me up?"
"Yes."
"Oh okay. I'll make my way to you soon. I was just about to lock my door."
James has been working for the company for as long as I can remember. He was probably around forty something? Plus, he has been really nice to almost everyone at the office.
Eros told him to come pick me up? Weird.
I locked my door and double checked before leaving, in order to be sure. I entered the black Mercedes that was waiting at the front of my house, and we both made our way to the office.

"Thanks for the ride James." I smiled at him as I got down from the car.
"Always my pleasure."
As I made my way to my office, I could feel my other Colleagues staring at me, probably Wondering why I came to work in the boss's car. Idiots.
I brought out my phone to see a text from Jade, Good luck!
She was talking about the signing of the contract, I had with Eros today. I inhaled and exhaled to calm my racing heart as I got out of the elevator and entered my office.
I did my regular stuff, the cleaning even if I always did the the night before I made my way home. Any time from now I know Eros would appear in my office.
"Janet?" I looked up and saw Kelvin poking his head through my door. Kelvin was one of Eros close friend, I knew that because I've seen some of their pictures together.
"Eros needs you." He said when I raised my head from the work I was working on.
"Oh, okay." I replied and he left my office.
I prepared myself mentally for what I was about to do. I know I was going to regret this, but I really needed the money. I was doing this for my family.
I stood up from my seat and made my way to his office. I knocked on the door, "come in." Came his reply.
I sighed and then made my way inside. Immediately I entered I could feel his eyes on me. The way he stared at me, made me feel nervous. Kelvin cleared his throat making Eros to take his eyes away from me.
"Have your seat Janet." That came from Kelvin.
I nodded my head and took the seat next to him.
He glanced at Eros while Eros nodded his head. Kelvin brought out a brown bag and from it brought out what I assumed to be the contract.
He cleared his throat before he started talking, "this contract is between you and Eros, no other person should know about it. After it expires both of you will divorce making it more realistic. He already offered to pay you a million dollars with other opportunities."
"Other opportunities?"
"Yes, like moving in with me, I'll take you shopping and doing all other things couples do." It was Eros who replied this time.
"Okay," I nodded in understanding. "What about Public display? Do I also have to do that?" I asked nervous. The thought of kissing my boss, well soon to be fake husband, making me nervous.
"It depends on the situation you guys find yourselves in." Kelvin said looking directly at me.
I guess I can deal with all of that just for a year and probably a half. "Okay." I nodded, "where I'm I signing?" I asked looking directly at Eros.
"Here." Kelvin handed me the file and I put my signature in it. I already noticed Eros signature in it already.
Kelvin cross- checked the file and then gave me a small smile as he packed it up. "I'll make a copy for you and for Eros, to be on a safer side."
"Okay. Thank you." He shook my hand and I gave him a wry smile.
"I'll see you later?" Eros said when Kelvin looked at him.
"Sure, no problem." And like that, he made his way out.
I just sat there on the chair awkwardly looking around. I could fell Eros eyes on me, "Thank you for doing this, Janet."
"It's not like I had a choice either way." I gave him a small smile and then attempted to make my way out when he said, "sit."
I made a questioning noise at the back of my throat.
"I said sit."
"Why?" I asked with a confused expression.
"We have to make arrangements. I'm going to have to take you shopping, because you will have to follow me to this family dinner I have in two days time. And then, you'll properly move in with me tomorrow."
He gave me a look saying do I understand, "sure. No problem."
"Be ready in ten minutes." I heard him say before I made my way out.
