Serena's POV
"Erin.." Heila spoke full of hatred and anger when she saw my Mom.
She had many wounds but as I look at her, she still could pull another fight.
"Always remember Heila, you will never succeed on conquering Cassopeia. You need to kill me first before you succeed." Mom said in her cold tone.
They exchange cold stares and I'm starting to get scared for Mom. When I remembered Jester. I searched for him around and when I saw him, I gasped.
With all my strength, I run to his direction. He had many wounds and the blood continues to trickle from his wounds. Probably he got all this wounds from the trees and the stones that attacked him earlier because of Heila.
"Are you okay?"
He smiled. "Don't worry. I am okay."
Calla quickly run to us as she just camena and she started curing Jester.
Miss Scarlet also came and she's with the kids and there are also some of us who are wounded.
"Serena, Calla, I need you to find a safe place for them. We'll be the one to manage here," Miss Scarlet instructed us.
I look at Mom and then at Heila.
"I always get what I want Erin. You see, I escaped. I am free." Heila said.
"I should have killed you that day. I was willing to give you another chance but I am wrong of making that decision." Mom answered coldly.
I look at Miss Scarlet when she spoke again. "GO! Keep them safe Serena."
I look at the kids and to our people  I also look at Mom and at Jester. I am having a second thought if I should leave here but when I heard the kid's soft cries, I stood up.
"You don't have to worry, we will manage everything here. Be careful." Jester said as she brush his hands in my face.
"You should be the one to be careful. Are you sure you can still fight?"
Jester nodded at me but he still had small wounds. Seconds later Aya, Jas and Max arrived.
"Leave now. Quick!" Miss Scarlet shouted when Mom and Heila started throwing attacks with each other.
Calla and I quickly went to the kids. I created a barrier around us as we started walking away from the scene.
Luckily, we found a safe place where the kids will stay. The Queen's residence. The design is like a castle but it is actually a house. This is the most safest place that I could think of.
When we assured they are okay and safe, I look at Calla.
"Stay here Calla. Keep them safe. I'm going to return there. I will go and help." I said but Calla immediately shook her head.
"No need Serena. You---"
"Calla," I cut her sentence. "You saw it right? Aya and Max and Jester still have wounds. Moreover, look my wounds are now healed. Look after them," I said and quickly walk outside so Calla won't stop me.
"Serena come back here!"
But I just continued walking. When I was outside, I created a barrier around the house. I almost go weak because I already loss so much energy but I was able to create a strong barrier.
I breathe in and even if I am panting, I started walking away.
I will never be reassured until I will see with my own eyes that Heila is dead and that everyone is safe.
While I was walking, I can't help but cry.
Everything was a mess.
From the trees that were uprooted and is scattered everywhere. To the houses that were destroyed. The walls that are crashed and were painted by blood. The flowers that were in full bloom was all destroyed. There were smoke everywhere. It's making me cry. This is not the Cassopeia I once admired.
I then suddenly feel uneasy. I tried to hear what was happening with my heightened hearing but I can't hear a single noise. Is the fight over?
I run so I could reach where they are immediately. And as I was running, I was silently hoping they were all safe.
I was panting when I get there and it seems like the fight is really over. Because I saw Mom standing and is looking at Heila who is lying in the ground. There's a stain of blood at Mom's dress but I know she is fine.
I look around and from a distance, I saw Max. Jas is resting in his shoulders who have many wounds and Aya is in his other side who looks fine.
But I got nervous when I can't see Jester. I look around and I almost stumble to where I am standing when I finally saw him.
He is lying on the ground unconscious, his body is full of blood. I immediately went to him.
"Jester.."
And I cried. I held his hands that were cold. Blood continuesly trickled down his face and to his arms.
"Jester.." I called him as I remove the blood on his face.
Then I felt him holding my hands back. I look at him.
"S-serena.." he said in a small voice that I can't almost hear it.
He can't open his eyes but he smiled.
"Jester, I am already here." I held his face. "Everything is over so please wake up."
It broke my heart to see him like this. He wasn't able to answer me but his eyes are half open. And he was just staring at me.
"Please do everything to heal him. Anything!" I beg the people around us.
I turned around at Calla who followed me here. "Calla, you can heal him right?"
She didn't replied but her tears flowed down her face.
"Serena, don't worry. Emerald is on her way here. She can heal Jester." Miss Scarlet said calmly but I saw nervousness and sadness in her eyes.
"You should calm down Serena. They are already on their way here." This time it was Mom who talked.
"NO!" I shouted. "Don't you see? He had loss many blood already."
I look at Mom. "Mom please do something!" I begged.
And I was stunned when I saw how Jester is slowly closing his eyes.
"No. No." I held his face. "Jester please, don't close your eyes."
My whole body was shaking in fear and pain. My lips were already trembling.
"I am begging you Jester. Please wake up."
My cries became louder when he already closed his eyes. Though he was still breathing but it was so slow. And I don't want to think that I'll loose him.
Emerald isn't here yet and I am scared that if she arrive, it's already too late. While I was holding Jester in my arms, my heart felt like it was crushed. No. I already lose my Father. And I don't want to lose another important person in my life.
"Jester please.." I said with my shaking voice. My tears fell in his cheeks. He is already very pale.
"I can heal him." Mom suddenly said.
I look at her and she was smiling at me.
"Let's give it a shot." She said and she walk towards me and Jester.
Miss Scarlet heard what Mom said and she quickly walk toward us too.
"No, no. You can't do that Erin." She said and she is about to cry.
"I have to do this Scarlet. I wasn't able to heal my husband back then and I know how painful it is to loose someone important to you. And I don't want Serena to experience what I had experience before." Mom said still smiling.
Then Miss Scarlet cried. I was shocked and at the same time confused why Miss Scarlet is reacting that way. I look at her with questioning eyes. What's happening? Mom is just going to heal Jester. Why is she crying so bad?
"Serena, your mom can use her  magic to heal Jester but this had a bad effect on her body. The white light magic is one of the most destructive magic like the purple magic that you have but if the user will convert it to healing magic, she might die." Miss Scarlet explained.
I froze in my place. I look at Mom shocked but she is just smiling at me. I shake my head hard.
"No. No." I said.
I remembered Calla told me during my first day here that the white light magic is the only one that can be converted to a healing magic.
"I wasn't able to save your Dad that day Serena. That's why I was very careful when it comes to you because I don't want to loose you too. But this time, let us save Jester. You don't have to worry about me little dummy. I can manage. Jester will be okay and I will be okay too." Mom explained.
But I know that when she said she'll be okay, it's actually the opposite because Miss Scarlet is already weeping and is begging in her eyes while looking at Mom.
I look at Jester again when his breathing is now slower compared earlier.
I bit my lip and my tears started to fall non stop. The pain I was feeling is unbearable. I look at Mom and then I look at Jester. I was weighing my decisions but I don't want that I'll loose one of them. I can't loose my Mom but I can't loose Jester either.
"Is t-there any other way? Emerald isn't here yet?" I ask and I can't even hear my own voice anymore.
"We are already loosing time. Serena, please always be careful. Always take good care of yourself." Mom said while her tears are continuesly falling.
I was shaking my head no. And I can't almost see her because my eyes are full of tears.
"You had grown up but for me you will always be my little dummy. Always remember, I love you my daughter."
She sweetly smiled at me and before I could do something, Mom held Jester's hands.
"ERIN NO!!!"
"MOM!!"
