The magnificent school hall was beautifully decorated for the occasion.
The 25th prom party for the final year students... It was similar to a graduation ceremony or must I say, a send off ceremony.
The hall was packed to the brim with students who were all in beautiful attires and were looking very glamorous.

All of a sudden, it felt like time stopped as Evie and Mira walked on the red carpet hand in hand.
They sight of the two were undescribable.
They were like goddess brought out of a movie... They look absolutely beautiful.
They were putting on similar blue off shouldered ball gowns with fine crystals embedded on it.
The only difference between their dresses was that, Mira's had a different design to it which made it more unique.
Their appearances caused a stir as their school mates stared in awe at them.
While some began to take pictures of the dress, others found the dresses familiar and began to make some researches.
And that's when they found out that the dress was custom made and was made exclusively by a designer in Paris!
Geez! How shocked they were!
The New Queen Bee just kept glaring at the duo who took away her shine.
She had been praised earlier for her dress and beauty, but now that the duo arrived, those who had been showering her with praises ignored her completely.
It was as if they forgot about her existence completely.
Still she didn't give up, so in the midst of the hustle and bustle she walked towards Mira and Evie proudly with her glass of wine.
Evie and Mira had just got some glasses of fruit wine from the waiter when they saw the Queen bee approaching them.
They looked at each other questioningly as they wondered why the arrogant Queen bee was walking towards them.
Though they didn't have to wait that long to find out why.
" Oh my! You guys look breathtaking! " She said as soon as you got to where they were.
Evie and Mira who caught the sarcasm in her tone simply replied. " Thanks. You look no bad yourself. "
" Of course... I look good and beautiful too. I am the Queen Bee after all... " She replied arrogantly.
" Um... It's obvious. "
" Yes... By the way, Where's my partner for today? "
Her question surprised the two.
How where they supposed to Know who her partner for prom is?
" Why are you asking us that? How are we supposed to know who your partner is? "
" Of course you'd know since my partner is none other than President Joseph! "
" Joseph? " Evie turned to face Mira in Surprise.
What she knew was that, Joseph was to be Mira's partner so how come he's Queen Bee's partner too?
" Of course! He's my partner for today. "
" Oh... well he hasn't arrived yet. " Mira replied calmly.
" Good. What about you, Mira? Who's your partner for today? " She inquired with a hint of mockery in her tone.
" I am not obligated to give you an answer, Moreover we aren't that close for me to answer you. " Mira replied.
" Not bad... Hehehehe. We'll see. " Queen Bee chuckled as she walked away even more arrogantly than when she approached them.
No one really told her that Joseph was to be her partner, but she believed that since they were both the student's representative, they fitted each other well...
And of course, she also heard that Joseph had no partner for today, so all this gave her the courage to speak arrogantly.
Just hoping she doesn't cry later.
Meanwhile, Evie was staring at Mira questionable.
" I thought Joseph was to be your partner today. "
" Same here's. "
" So what went wrong? "
" I am not sure though... We'll see. " Mira replied sipping her juice.
" Hm... Okay. "
Though Evie looked calm on the surface but inwardly she was fuming... All she was waiting was for Joseph to arrive and once he did she was going to scold him as much as she could.
How dare he embarrass her best friend like this?
What even made her most annoyed was how the students around them began gossiping and comparing Miranda and Queen Bee to each other.
" Truth is, I also feel that Queen Bee is more beautiful than Miranda. "
" Yeah... Same. "
" Guys, Don't you think it's shocking that Joseph agreed to partner up with Queen bee? "
" It's not that shocking you know... He wouldn't have chosen to partner up with Mira who is not in his level would he? "
" That's true.... I really pity Miranda, she must have been dreaming too high about being partnered up with Joseph. "
" Right.... Though I don't feel an ounce of pity for Mira.... She had been such a show off, always acting as if Joseph was her boyfriend. "
" Indeed! I just wish Joseph appears as soon as possible so she can be face slapped. "
" Same here's! "
Evie boiled in anger as she continued listening to this conversation.
Not able to hold it any longer, she sent a message to Joseph who was driving.
: Hey you! You better get over here now if you don't want me to beat you up!
She received a reply about five minutes later.
: I am already on my way. What happened?
: It's all your fault! Now my best friend is being mocked because of you!
: Wait, what happened to Mira?
The worry in his words could not be mistaken at all.
: Come here and you'll find out!
Evie sent before locking her phone.
She stared at Mira who had already taken a seat on the vacant seats beside her.
She was surprised to see the later, chit chatting with a classmate so calmly.
To be honest, she had thought the latter would flare up but she was wrong.
It was now she realized that she didn't really know her best friend that much.
Yet, she was totally determined to understand her better now.
