I heard my phone rang so I took it and accepted the call. It was past nine o'clock at night when Diane called me just to say hello and ask about what happened on my date with Drake.
Actually, there was nothing special about my date with Drake even though it was my first time to date, what happened was like I just went out with a friend to bond. That's what I felt earlier with Drake.
< So, will you have a second date with Drake? >
"No."
I simply answered her while I was fixing my bed so I could lie down.
< What? Why?Are you turned off by Drake? >
I laughed at her consecutive questions she asked me. She was obviously interested in what happened.
"No, he's actually great."

< What happened earlier? I want to hear what happened! > She immediately command me just after she asked why there won't be a next date.
"Our date earlier was okay."
I was just looking at the ceiling of my room while remembering what happened earlier on my blind date with Drake.

We just asked about each other while we ate and he was also fun to talk to, he also likes to joke and not like in the movies or telenovelas I've seen where he draws pick up lines to make women thrill. He's simple to make a women's thrilled with his words but I didn't get thrilled though he said earlier that I look more beautiful when I smile. Am I numb or does it just not affect me?
After we ate, Drake asked me to choose where to go next, to the park or to watch a movie. And since we had just finished eating, I chose the park so that we could walk properly first and also to avoid sitting all the time, you know it hurts in the butt.
As for our case, we hadn't even left the restaurant when it suddenly started to rain heavily, so Drake and I just looked at each other and we seemed to understand each other with that simple look. Fortunately, he had his own car so we went straight to the nearby mall to watch a movie.
That's when I also found out that Drake doesn't like watching horror movies, he's even ashamed to say that he's afraid of that genre. I just patted him on his shoulder and told him not to be ashamed because that's normal even though he's a guy.
We just chose the movie which is the American Rom Com and the title is Holidate. The movie is good like normal romantic movies where a deal is made between two complete strangers and as time goes on they fall for each other. Try watching it, you might like it too. It's not boring either, so I know we both enjoy watching it.

I just came back to my senses when I heard Diane's voice, I just thought that I didn't tell her the story, I was literally just telling it in my mind. You are really bad Gill! I just slapped my own forehead.
"Sorry, what is your question again?"
< What happened earlier? You haven't spoken for a while, are you sleepy?" >
"No, I was just remembering what happened earlier. I thought I was telling it to you but I'm actually telling it just in my mind hahaha!"
