HAN POV
What on earth is happening right now? She’s the chosen one? This was what I saw in the prophecy, but it was supposed to be someone from the royal family. How come she’s the one? Or is there something that happened in the past that we don’t know?
"Sir, what is happening to my friend? Why is she floating in the air and controlling thunder?" Chris asked, looking very confused.
"Stay here and make sure to protect the royal family. I’ll try to calm her down." I ran toward her, but she suddenly attacked me with lightning.
She’s too angry right now… and she’s losing control of her power.
She attacked the dark archers, making them float in the air before killing them one by one. When the other enemies saw it, they tried to flee, but Aileen noticed and didn’t let them escape.
"Aileen! Enough!" Chris shouted, but it didn’t work.
All the Ichi, Ni, and San gathered and joined forces to stop her. Chan and Bob also arrived to help. I stood up again, trying to regain my strength so I could assist them.
Right now, she’s too powerful. The last element is the strongest among all elements—that’s why we call its wielder the chosen one.
"What happened here? We suddenly saw the thunder, and when we came here, this is what we saw," Bob asked, confused.
"Everything happened too fast. I didn’t see it coming. We can’t stop her right now—she’s too powerful. You know our abilities are nothing compared to what she has now," I said.
"Everyone, stop!" Bob commanded.
"We have to save her. She’s not herself right now," Sam said, worried.
"I understand, but we can’t stop her. She’s way too powerful," I explained.
"Is she going to be okay?" Dave asked.
"I’m not sure. All I know is if she keeps using that power, she could be in danger," I answered.
"Look! Sir Neil is awake!" Chris said, and we all turned to him.
Neil slowly opened his eyes and tried to sit up.
"What happened? Why are you all here? Did we win?" he asked.
"It’s not over yet. They’ll be back again. For now, we need to prepare for the worst," I said.
Suddenly, a blinding light struck all of us—
When we opened our eyes again…
The portal was closed.
Everything… was silent. I immediately remembered her and ran toward the forest.
She was there lying on the ground, unconscious. She must have used too much power.I carried her and brought her to the hospital, informing the others on the way.
AT THE INFIRMARY
"How is she?" Neil asked, rushing in.
"She’s stable. The doctor said she needs to rest… and she might be asleep for a long time," I said, closing my eyes as I tried to regain my strength.
"I knew this would happen. I shouldn’t have let her come here. It’s too much for her to handle," Neil said.
I opened my eyes and looked at him ."You knew? How could you know she’s the chosen one? Why didn’t you tell us? Do you even realize what could happen if she loses control again?!" I said, clearly frustrated.
He held her hand gently. "I saw it when we were kids…"
AILEEN POV
(FLASHBACK)
"Hey, hurry up! You’re too slow!" my brother shouted while running.
"Wait for me!" I replied.
We were trying to catch the meteor shower that would happen in a few minutes. You could see it clearly from our treehouse at the top of the forest.
"Aileen, I think someone is in our treehouse," Neil said.
I looked at the wooden ladder and saw footprints.
"We should check it. Maybe some kids found it," I said as I climbed up.
When I reached the top, I saw a boy standing at the edge of the terrace.
I quickly ran and pulled him back. "Do you want to die?!" I shouted, but he remained calm and just looked at me.
"What happened?" Neil asked.
"He was standing at the edge. One wrong move and he would’ve fallen," I said.
"Are you okay?" Neil asked him.
He didn’t answer.
"Are you deaf or mute?" I added.
"Aileen, stop. Maybe he’s just shocked," Neil said.
We left for a moment—but when we came back…He was gone.
"That’s creepy…" I said.
"Yeah…" Neil agreed.
We forgot about it after watching the meteor shower.
Later that night…
We saw him again.
BOOGSSHHH!!!
A loud explosion echoed. We ran toward the portal and hid behind a tree.
The King was there opening the portal.
"What is he doing?" I whispered.
"Shh… stay still," Han said.
We turned to leave—
Then suddenly—An arrow flew toward us.
"Han, look out!"
BACK TO PRESENT
"Ahh!"
I woke up, gasping for air.
My heart was beating fast.
That memory…
It wasn’t just a dream. It felt real. Too real.
I held my chest, trying to calm myself.
That arrow… Who was it meant for?
And why does it feel like that moment—changed everything?
The room was quiet. Too quiet.
Then suddenly— The wind moved slightly.
The curtains swayed and a faint voice echoed in my mind—
"It has begun…"
