Shannon finally got home and was welcomed by her daughter Sandra. It was a happy thing to have left for three months and been back again to one abode after three months of being away which seemed to be like 3 years for Shannon, she couldn't help but gaze around the compound.
"Welcome mummy" Sandra yelled with great excitement throwing her mum who just alighted from the car a hug.
"How are you my daughter, I have missed you," Shannon said as she pats Sandra's back.
"Same here mum, finally you're back home".
They disengaged.
" Yes, am back home".
Philip leaned on the car starting at Shannon and Sandra's drama, smiling.
"Mum, your face is shining than when you left here for oversee, is there anything special you eat there?
" Nothing special, but God's grace and Margaret, the friend who accommodated me".
"Wow that's great, dummy let's enter, I have prepared a meal I know you would like".
" Okay darling, miss your food within the 3onth I spent oversee".
"Mummy and daughter". Philip teased.
" Are you jealous?". Sandra chuckled.
"At all. Philip said. Just go and see the table for mum to eat".
" I will".
"Mummy you will now go down to your bathroom and freshen up after which you come and have your meal," Philip told Shannon as he went to his room.
They all entered the house and Shannon went on to freshen up later when she came out to have her meal. Philip went to his room to change and went down also to have his meal even before Shannon was done bathing.
When was done with her meal, Sandra packed the dining table, went down to the kitchen to do the dishes, and coming back she sat beside Shannon to be with Shannon after a long time.
"Mummy I have something to tell, it has been disturbing me to have told you on the phone, but I pinned it down until now," Sandra said in a hushed tone.
"What is it my daughter, open up to me".
" I had a dream".
"A dream??".
" Yes, a dream".
"What was it all about?".
" About Philip"
"How did it go?".
Sandra began to breathe heavily, trying to talk but as if she was been held down by something, although that's not so, she was gripped with fear.
Sha none studied this and she said " C'mon speak up, nothing will happen, I promise".
"O-k-kay mum" Sandra stuttered.
Sandra explained everything to Shannon. Shannon couldn't believe her heart.
"You should have told me before now".
" I told Philip but he took it with levity hands, but after that day I didn't dream about it again".
"Call me Philip, he is in his room I think". Shannon instructed Sandra. She stood up instantly and walked briskly to Philip's room. Sandra knocked on his room don't.
" Who's there? " Philip asked.
"Mummy wants to see you, she's in the dining room".
" Okay, I'll be there soonest," Philip said as he stood up from the bed and walked to his closet, picked up a shirt which he wore on 3-quarter jeans, and then came put his to meet Shannon who was in the dining room.
"You sent for me?"
"Yes, seat down," Shannon said to Philip.
Philip sat on one of the dining chairs.
"Sandra told me something that she had a dream".
" Dream??, I can't remember she told anything relating to dream".
"The dream that warned you to be careful with the ladies you move with, can you remember now?".
" Hun, yes, I even had that same dream but it's just a dream.
"Did you just say just a dream?. You've not done anything regarding this or have taken any step.
" What do you expect me to do, it's just a dream".
"That's where you have gotten it wrong, we have to take a quick and fast step before it's too late"
"Okay, mum".Philip and Sandra chorused.
" You can both go to your rooms now".
"Yes ma" They left for their rooms.
"What will I do this no, God helps,m,e," Shannon said as she also stood up to her room.

Bertie sat in her living room on the soft sofa after which she folded her leg on the stool as she stared blankly at the medical report she had in her hands. She had earlier gone for a pregnancy test but was very surprised that she hadn't been pregnant after what happened between herself and Philip.
Her plans weren't working out well. But then, Bertie was thinking of another strategy she would use, just to get Philip and marry him.
After long-term thinking, she decided to try again to a bug in another strategy.
