Philip stood up from the bed and went into the bathroom, freshened up, and came out within a few minutes. I know you would all be surprised they booked a room in the hotel after the plan was just to have a drink and lunch, something is fishing, you know. Sheila was fast asleep, so he woke her up.
"Sheila wake up we got to go now" Philip yawned.
Sheila was still deep in her sleep, she rolled on the bed feeling disturbed, but Philip tapped. her again as she finally woke up. She also entered the bathroom and freshened up after which she got dressed and left the hotel.
Philip drove Sheila to where she lived. He stopped the vehicle in front of Esther's apartment.
"Goodbye Sheila".
"Goodbye," Sheila replied as she left the car and waved at Philip, and went inside.
"Welcome, how was your day with Philip," Esther asked voraciously, smiling.
"Fantastic".
"I guess you enjoyed yourself".
"Won't you eat now, I have prepared Amala and a delicious ogbono soup".
"Oh no am okay, I have eaten to the fullest at Jaylinx Hotel".
"Really?"
"Oh yeah, what I just have to do now is go inside and have. some rest.
"I have heard you, the CEO's wife be"Esther trilled, they both giggled.
Sheila entered her room and crashed on her bed. She yawned and soon fell asleep.

Philip swerved right into the compound where he lived with his mum and his younger sister. He parked his car beside the jeep in the garage, after which he alighted, opened the backseat door, and took his suitcase.

He locked the vehicle and walked sluggishly, shuffling his feet as he entered the building. Stepping into the sitting room, he found Shannon who sat on the sofa with a weird face.
"Good evening ma" Philip greeted about leaving for his room.
"Where are you coming from?, Sandra told me that this was how you've been living your life while I was away, where are you coming from?" Shannon queried.
"I took Sheila out and proposed today".
"So is that what kept you out so long till this moment, anyway I know Sheila is a good girl that's the only saving grace you have today. This is the first and the last warning I'll give to you, inasmuch you're still under this roof you must not enter this house at late hours, in fact as at 7:00 pm you must have been at home, us that clear??"
"But mum I thought in the oversee a child is free from all these as at the age of 18 but why am I still treated like a baby".
"My son, this is Nigeria, and remember am a Nigerian mother so at this stage and even when you marry, there are things I will tell you to do and you must do them because am still your mother, is that clear?".
"Yes, but why, why mum"Philip mumbled walking away from the sitting room into his room.
"A word is enough for the wise". Shannon said as she called Sandra "Sandra, Sandra, Sandra".
"Ma" Sandra answered as she hastened her steps from the kitchen to the living room.
"Help me set the table I am ready to eat now".
"Okay ma" Sandra hastened back to the kitchen to serve Shannon's food.

Bertie sat in the living room of her apartment, thinking.
"I have to take a fast step before it's too late". Bertie soliloquized. She thought for a moment and nodded her head. "That's what I'll do, "Bertie said to herself as she stood about to go into the room when her attention diverted to the phone ringing on the sofa where she sat.
"Hello Flora," Bertie said after she locked the call.
"Hello Bertie, why is your voice this cold?".
"Nothing, just feeling sleepy".
"Ah, at this moment".
"Yes, but why is there noise in your area?".
"Am not at home, am in a clubhouse enjoying myself, I just called you if you'll be able to come".
"No, not at all, I am very dizzy, just managed to pick up your call
"Okay have a nice rest".
"Thanks, bye" Bertie cuts the phone as she entered her room to sleep.

Gabriel has been trying to call Sheila but it wasn't reachable again. He was troubled that he decided to visit Jaylinx Hotel, but on getting there he was told that Sheila had checked out with a guy.
"What just came into Sheila, she's behaving weird this day," Gabriel said to himself, he couldn't get an answer to his question. He sat in his living room doing nothing, just bored and idle. He had no money on him to go out and enjoy himself maybe in a clubhouse or something, even the night meal he had wasn't a balanced one. He just felt tired and frustrated.
