When we came back to the studio, I immediately looked for Lemon. She’s not in the living room or the backyard. So I climbed the stairs to check her at the terrace. That's her favorite spot after all.
And there she is, sitting on one of the chairs with her earphones on. I tapped her shoulder to call her attention.
“You’re done?” she asked then she stood up.
I nodded at her and when she was about to turn her back on me, I quickly grab her by the wrist. “Lem, is something wrong?”
She pouted, scrunched her nose, and shook her head. “I just got an upset stomach. I think I overate so I rushed back,” then she gave me a sheepish grin.
I laughed at what she said before reaching out to mess up her hair. I can't believe she'd actually say that. She was still smiling until someone spoke.
“They’re calling you downstairs so we can start with the meeting,” and Lemon’s smile quickly disappeared.
She became anxious again, “Let’s go, Partner,” and even before I could respond to her, she was already on her way downstairs.
I saw Drew heave a sigh. “Dude, did something happen?” I asked before he can turn his back on me.
He turned to face me again and walked closer. Scratching on the back of his head, he nodded at me hesitantly. “She saw us earlier,” he whispered.
I furrowed my brows at him. ‘What does he mean she saw them? I’m seeing them too. It’s not like we’re blind!’
“She saw us making out inside the restroom,” he confessed.
“I see…” I quickly responded. “What? You and Anne?” I exclaimed. I was shocked as I wasn’t able to process what he said immediately. Drew nodded in confirmation, “What did she see?”
“Well, she opened the door abruptly and saw Anne sitting on my lap with just her bra on,” he started narrating and I quickly raised a hand toward him. I don't want to hear more than that.
“You’re really a stupid asshole!” I spat at him before turning on my heel.
He’s really an idiot. He admitted to liking Lemon but he’s still letting her see him in such situations. He’s just downright stupid.
This isn’t the first time she’s seen him being sensual with someone. This is actually the fifth or sixth time.
Regardless of whether she’s planning to court her or not, he shouldn’t be letting Lemon see him in awkward situations. She’s still a girl and it’s embarrassing for her to see something like that.
I went downstairs to join the group, and after a while, Drew joined us too. He sat on the couch next to Anne, then I squeezed myself between him and Roj.
Homme is sitting on the single couch and between his knees is Lemon, sitting on the floor. While Kip is on the floor too.
“Our classes will start again in four weeks. That means, we need to look for someone to replace Rawbin,” Kip started.
“Let’s just host an audition again. Lemon can pick who she wants to sing with" Roj suggested.
“What do you think cuz?” Kip asked her.
She pouted her lips, thinking. I really like it when she does that and I know it’s not just me. Out of instinct, I look at Drew.
I caught him half-smiling while looking at Lemon so I nudge him. He blushed all of a sudden and that caused me to laugh. They all looked at me all of a sudden so I gave them a peace sign.
Turning back to Lemon, “That’s possible. Must he be as handsome as Rawbin?” she jest, and Homme messed up her hair.
“Leslie Monica, we’re looking for a vocalist to replace the old one, not a new boyfriend for you,” he told her cousin, chuckling.
The conversation about finding a new vocalist continued. And I can’t help but notice how awkward these two are.
If someone else is talking, Lemon’s looking at the speaker with full attention. But when it’s Drew, she will just bow down.
I keep giggling at the two of them without them knowing. Especially when Drew looks annoyed whenever Lemon won’t look at him when he’s talking.
Kip even scolded me several times as I keep distracting them. But if they knew what’s going on, I’ll be they’ll end up laughing as well.
I never thought it was this weird when two people are hiding their feelings from one another. It’s just so awkward.
And yes, even if Lemon doesn’t say it, I know that she likes Drew too.

I’m starting to feel irritated because I know Kevz’s laughing at me. He’s been looking at me and watching my reaction whenever Drew speaks. Then he’d giggle.
And this Anne! I don’t know why she keeps looking at me and I’m starting to feel a bit conscious. They should have just sat facing each other so they’re not distracting anyone.
‘I am not jealous or anything, ok? It’s just disturbing.’
I suddenly remember all the times I caught Drew doing something rated R. I think the worst among all those was the one I saw at the bar.
When he withdrew his hand from inside the girl’s dress, it was disgusting. It was Kevz who saw us that time too.
Drew apologized to me after that incident. He waited for me outside the comfort room just to say sorry for what I saw.
But what is it again this time? He’s still not being careful. He’s still letting me see him in such vulgar situations.
Then again, there’s no reason for him to be careful with me. Besides, it seems like this is his hobby after all. That means he doesn’t really have to change his routine just cause I like him. He doesn’t know that anyway.
After the meeting, Kip immediately left to go home. He said he still needs to pick up Kellen at the salon. Homme left with him too.
The rest of us stayed at the studio for thirty minutes more. After that, Drew bid us farewell, he said he needs to take Anne home, and Roj left with them.
When it was just the two of us, Kevz and I went outside to the veranda. We sat on the chair, listening to music until I notice Kevz staring at me while smiling.
“Hey! Stop it! Have you gone crazy?” I spat at him.
He suddenly burst into laughter as he shakes his head at me. I wanted to throw a pot at him but it seems heavy so I chose not to.
“I just find you and Drew funny. It’s awkward isn’t it?” he teased so I pouted at him as I roll my eyes. “I know Partner, Drew told me that you saw them in the restroom earlier.”
My eyes widen and my mouth formed an O, it was awful. ‘Why does he have to tell Kevz? Is he that shameless?’
I shut my mouth and then crossed my arms over my chest. “I didn’t mean for that to happen. It’s their fault for not locking the door.”
“Well, I didn’t say it’s your fault nor that you did that intentionally. But is that the reason why you’re avoiding him?”
I narrowed my eyes at him. This guy is really some sort of psychic. I heaved a sigh before starting to fiddle with my fingers.
“It was embarrassing. I always see him doing something like that,” I pursed my lips and he chuckled.
“Tell me, Partner, I want an honest answer ok? Do you like Drew?”
My eyes flicked at him. ‘Is it that obvious?’ I was staring at him when he shot her brows at me, waiting for an answer. Although I’m hesitant, I still nodded in confirmation.
“But I’m just crushing on him ok?” I even pointed a finger at him before leaning back. “He’s got beautiful eyes plus he’s a good singer,” I continued.
Kevz nodded slowly as if trying to process what I said. I trust he won't tell anyone because if he does, I’ll never show up to them again.
I'm not really concerned when my crush finds out that I'm crushing on him. But when it comes to Drew, I feel like I have to go outside the planet as soon as he finds out.
After a while, Kevz’s phone started ringing. I saw how he frowned when he answered it. “Partner, I have to go. My grandma arrived and she’s looking for her handsome grandson.”
He was dead serious when he said that but I can’t help but laugh. “Go, I’ll just wait for Kale here.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yep! Don’t worry about me, Lyra and Guido are here anyway.”
He then hugged me and kissed my forehead before making a run for the gate. He then hailed a cab and in a matter of seconds, he was out of my sight.
