I'm at Gideon's law firm they tried to talk to me this morning, saying na may importante silang bagay na sasabihin. I was waiting at their lounge. Their assistant keeps telling me to wait. So I waited about half a hour. Until their assistant comes to me and telling me to follow them.
Dinala nila ako sa meting room nang buksan ko ito ay may nakahandang pagkain while Mr. Gideon is at the center of the table. Is this why they told me to wait? Is even food allowed here?
"Greetings Miss Harlow sorry to keep you waiting we're kinda hungry," Amora greets me with her elegant smile. She guided me to seat. I guess money can really buy anything. May nakahanda na ring pagkain sa platito ko.
Nang makaupo ako ay they started eating so they told me to help myself, ngunit pinagoobserbahan at pinakikiramdaman ko ang paligid. They're so silent for a while.
"Hey," Lamierre whispers to Amora kaya't agad ko silang tinignan. Killian and Gideon seems not bothers about it. As if may sariling mundo sila.
"What?" Amora asked.
"Can I have your shrim-"
"No. Eat your own food."
"Let's trade, my half of steak is yours let me have that shrimp."
"You are the one who ordered your own food so don't bother mine, clean freak." Amora rolls her eyes and eat.
"This steak was overcook, Killian why don't we-" Lamierre pouts when Killian don't even bother to look at him.
I look at his plate and I can't see the difference of well cooked and overcooked. Did he just spot it in one glance? Wow his eyes are incredible. The more I get to know them the more they're pain in my eyes, kidding.
"So why did you call me here?" I asked straight forwardly nang matapos na kaming kumain. Lamierre just answers me with his prince charming smile kaya't tinignan ko si Amora.
"Since you are still staying at our house we have an offer to you," Amora answered.
"Thank you for letting me stay at your mansion for two days, then I will move to my house tomorrow," I said. Their eyes widened.
"Ah hindi ka namin pinaalis, we just want to offer something for you. You know trading, or perhaps we will ask for favor" Amora explained.
"You are bad at explaining, Amora," Lamierre teases.
Pinagisipan ko muna kung anong sasabihin ko. I stare at them for a moment. I'm grateful for their hospitality. So... "Can you spill it fist?" tanong ko. Nagtinginan muna sila.
"Will you work with us? You are the one who'll help us to gather evidence and information to our opponent in the future. Be our shadow, Miss Harlow and we will protect you," Amora said. I went silent for a moment as I may know their law firm is a private prosecutions. I don't know whether their agency is small or big.
"Why don't you ask Henrielle? After all he's the one who got me first," I said. I can't just leave Henrielle's organization and take another job.
"You are correct, Miss Genevieve but also consider our offer. We might also be a big help to you,"
"Why don't you also just join Henrielle'os organization?"
"Great idea we will consider it," Lamierre said.
"Wait do you even know that Henrielle have a organization?"
"Actually we have some idea about it, pero limitado lamang. Your organization is too small and all of the members were really loyal to Henrielle it's hard to seek information." Amora answers honestly.
"Well the organization talks about crimes and debates for the good of our country. We often gathers so much information and evidences together. Para mapabilis ang paglutas ng mga kaso." I explained they both nods to each other
"Then let's settle it soon, tomorrow I will contact Detective Henrielle for this," Killian added.  
"Thank you then I should go," I pick up my crutches but they stop me at sabi nila'y sabay sabay na kaming umuwi. "Ah one more thing, Give me two days and I will leave your mansion." 
"Uh that, wala pa kaming planong pakawalan ka, Miss Genevieve until you are perfectly fine. That was the mayor said," Lamierre said and smiles at me.
Lumapit naman sa akin si Gideon and he hold my hands opening my palms and gives me something.
"Mayor wants me to give it to you."
"A necklace?"
Nang makita ko ang ang kwintas ay sumakit ang ulo. Napatigil ako sandali at tinitian ito. This necklace... It's been ages since I saw this. Ito ang pinanghahawakan ko para malutas ang kaso ng magulang ko. This serve as evidence for my parents death. I bit my lower lip.
'Konti nalang... Hang in there and I will uncover the truth.'
Mahahanap ko rin kung sino ang may ari nito.
"Are you okay?" Amora asked. I just nods and move again.
Kinabukasan ay we're gathering again with Henrielle.
"So you want to offer Genevieve to be your shadow just like I did to her?" he asked.
"Oh, yes precisely."
I'm really thinking about it too. For me they can just look for someone too but I think they know something about me that the keep hiding for a while. The moment we meet each other is really suspicious too.
"But I don't also have a plan to let go of her," Henrielle smirks at them and looks at me so I frown. "You what don't you think, my Gella.? You're still mine, right?" he looks at me with his puppy eyes I kick his feet under the desk.
"Quit it. I'm not anyone's. I called you here since I respect your organization or what group it is," he coughs for a moment and I look more serious than yesterday.
"To be honest I don't really trust all of you yet. Once you prove to me that you can protect her you may have  a chance to stealing her from me," aniya.
"What are you her lover?" Lamierre sarcastically said. They all got tense up and I too. Gideon just sitting at the corner and seems in deep thoughts. I want to snap him out and tell him that he's the leader so act up. Ngunit parang wala siyang pakielam na nakatingin lamang sa kawalan. 
"Quit acting that they will steal me away from you, idiot." I annoyingly said. He looks away at nagpangalumbaba. He seems also planning or in deep thoughts. Parang pinagiisipan niya din kung hahayaan niya ako or what.
"How about Miss Harlow will continue working with Detective Henrielle and all of the informaton that they've discussed will be reported by Miss Harlow?"  Killian said. He is more capable than I think.
"Woah you are really useful, kid. We will do that and also you will benefit from us. Moreover, as we are protecting Miss Harlow and also can be your organization too we will also gather information outside for your organization. Let's satisfy each other's desire."   Amora said.
Doon ko napansin na parang may tinatago sila from me. Or I am just suspicious about them? Since is it just normal to pick me instead of other people? I can also say that Henrielle is ten times more preotective of me. Suddenly I become more curious about my past.
This is just getting and getting intense too many questions in my head, but after I talked with Henrielle about my past two years ago he didn't even try to make me feel remember. All  I just this passed few years was create new memories. Trying not to remember anything.
"You don't need to rush leaving my home. I told you already treat it as if it's your own," natulala ako ng lumapit sa akin si Gideon upang sabihin 'yan.  Hindi ko alam kung anong iniisip niya ngunit pakiramdam ko ay binibigyan niya na ako ng assurance.
