In another world, the skies are dark blue and the clouds are grey, multiple red mountains and red terrains can be seen. A young man is walking on the path of the red ground, his eyes are looking everywhere only to see the peaceful scenery.
"Nasaan ka na, Alamia?" He muttered calmy yet he was panicking.
Then he remembers something, some fragments containing one of his conversations with the woman he enshrined.
On that day, inside a big, wide building. Inside one of its rooms, a young man is standing in front of a woman's desk.
"Natatakot po ako, Escarfra," the young man spoke while his eyes were looking down on the ground.
The lady with the name Escarfra moves her hand down which is clenching a wooden pen, then she moves her eyes up at Semfes' mug.
Escarfra speaks tranquil. "Ano ba ang iyong ikinatatakot? Bakit ka pumunta rito, Sem?"
Semfes cannot reply with his mouth, instead, he's replying with the vibrations of his whole body; the vibration of his anxiousness.
Then he hears the sound of a chair being dragged away as its four bottom parts are hitting against the ground.
A hand settles on his clothed shoulder, a feminine voice speaks, "Huwag kang matatakot. Alam kong bata ka pa naman... Ngunit, hindi ba mas maganda na handa ka sa kahit anong bagay?"
Escarfra moves her hand away from his clothed shoulder and she steps away from the jumpy young man.
Semfes moves his eyes beside him and sees Escarfra facing the tall open window. Semfes found it amazing; her beauty and her figure radiates a motherly figure.
"Alam mo... Noong ako'y nasa edad mo. Madalas akong pinapagalitan ng aking ama," Escarfra tells him, "dahil malaki ang pagkakaiba ko sa aming mga ka-tribo."
"A-Ano naman po masama sa pagiging iba, Escarfra?" Semfes asked.
Escarfra replies remain tranquil. "Dahil kapag iba ka, mula sa kilos, sa emosyon, at sa pananamit nila. Kung ano-ano ng mga mabibigat na bagay ang ihahatol nila sa iyo."
"Edi... Ano po ang ginawa mo, Escarfa?" Semfes asked, still gazing at her.
Escarfra turns around. Now, she's facing Semfes. A slight smile forms on her lip. "Naging matapang ako, Semfes. Maniwala ka man o sa hindi, lumayas ako na walang sinoman ang nakakaalam."
Hence, she starts to move forward to Semfes as she speaks, "Maging matapang ka, ihanda mo ang sarili mo sa kahit anong bagay... Bagamat ang alam natin ukol sa mundong ito na, 'isa lamang itong palaruan na kung saan ay mabubuhay ka nang mapayapa' hindi 'yon totoo.
"Bagkus, ang mundong ito ay lubhang napupuno ng mga hamon, masasamang nilalang, mga tukso, kaguluhan, at ang mga pighati."
Furthermore, she kneels in front of Semfes. She raises her hand towards Semfes. His eyes are still gazing at Escarfra and he lends his hand to her raised hand.
Escarfra gently encloses her hand in his hand, she tells him. "Kaya matuto kang maging matapang, sapagka't sa oras na tumuntong ka na sa magiging kapahamakan mo: baguhin mo ito. Baguhin mo sa pamamagitan ng iyong katapangan, Semfes."
In the present, Semfes laughs softly. Hence a masculine voice yells, "IKAW SIGURO ANG LALAKENG NAGHAHANAP SA BABAENG NAGSAKRIPISYO?!"
The loud voice resonates in the whole area where Semfes is at. Semfes moves his eyes everywhere only to see the multiple mountains, the clouds which are grey blue in color, and the dark blue skies.
Semfes shouts back. "Hindi ko alam kung sino ang binabanggit mong babae! Ngunit! May kilala rin akong nagsakripisyo. Alamia ang kanyang ngalan."
The loud masculine voice laughs softly, ergo, the masculine voice yells loudly. "ANG AKING MAPAPANGASAWA?! IKAW BA'Y KANYANG KAPATID O KINAKAPATID?!"
"Asawa?!" Semfes was thunderstruck by what he heard, then he looked everywhere with rage flowing in his eyes.
"H-HINDI TOTOO IYAN!" Semfes replies with a sharp tone of his voice, "MAARING MAIKSING ORAS KAMI NAGING MAGKASAMA! NGUNIT HINDI GAGAWIN NI ALAMIA ANG GANYANG BAGAY!"
A pair of feet wearing black sandals can be seen moving on top of a mountain, then a mischievous smile on a mug of a man can be seen. The man is standing on top of one of the mountains and his eyes are fixed down on Semfes.
"Sa oras na ito'y ililigtas mo siya hindi ba?" The man asked Semfes.
Semfes' eyes grow wide and he looks up only to see a small figure on top of a mountain which is in front of him.
"Ikaw!" Semfes shouts angrily, "Nasaan siya? Anong ginawa mo sa kanya?!"
"Maghinay-hinay ka, kumpare," the man replies with a smirk on his lip, "Huwag mainit ang ulo pare."
"Huwag mo akong tatawaging pare. Ang hinihingi ko ay si Alamia!" Semfes hollered at him.
The man disappeared quickly and he appears in front of Semfes. Semfes immediately thrust his clenched hand towards him but the man vanished before the movement of his fist.
The man appeared on the top of a mountain, the same mountain where he stood.
"Pwede na," the man told Semfes.
The man snaps the fingers on his hand, the land underneath Semfes' feet shakes rapidly causing deep lines to expand on it.
Semfes moves his eyes down only to see deep dark cracks forming on it; extending to different directions.
The man smiles cheekily. "Ang lupang nakikita mo maski ang bundok ay aking pagmamay-ari. Walang sinoman ang makalalagpas o makatatapak sa susunod na hakbang nang wala ang aking basbas."
Semfes slightly lifts his arm, sparks of blue lightning appear around his hand and quickly it turns to a fully formed blue lightning.
Semfes quickly moves his hand down causing a line of blue lightning to emerge from his blue lightning-covered hand, onto the shaking ground.
Five steps from Semfes, small red pieces arise from the crack on the red ground, it forms onto a big wave going towards Semfes.
Semfes turns around and sees a looming red wave of mixed multiple red rocks and dirts going towards him; threatening to crush him down.
"Dito sa mundong ito, katawang pisikal ang iyong idinadala. Espiritu o katawan mo man ang iyong ginagamit, sa oras na lamunin ka ng lupang ito ay tiyak na mamamatay ka," the man speaks, "Ako nga pala si Erishem, ang pulang mandirigma."
Semfes turns around as he moves hastily away from the looming red wave. Unfortunately, Semfes' foot hits a small red rock causing him to fall to the ground. He immediately arises yet red tentacles come forth from the red ground; encircling his whole body putting a stop to his movement.
Semfes puts his hands on the ground and pushes himself upward, but he cannot fully recover from his unfortunate situation due to the pesky red tentacles which are putting a stop to his movements.
"Hindi ko kaya ito! Paano na?" Semfes asked himself as he is panicking from recovering from being pinned on the ground.
Semfes uses blue lightning and covers both of his hands, thence he suddenly remembers Alamia.
On that day, in a place with many tall trees surrounding it, and multiple varieties of flowers and grass covering the entire land.
A young man and woman can be seen two-step from each other; the young man is holding a knife as lines of blue lightning is moving around the blade of the knife, while the woman is kneeling in front of the small puddle of water.
The young woman raises her hand towards the small puddle of water and she dips her finger on it, then the young man flies away from a small explosion from the blue lightning revolving around his knife.
"Nangangamoy pagkabigo ah," the young woman arises and turns around, "Semfes, nabigo ka nanaman sa pagkontrol ng iyong elemento?"
Semfes moves away from the thick, rough body of the tree where he flew against. He rubs his back using his hand while he's walking towards the young woman.
Semfes speaks, "Oo na, ikaw na ang pinakamagaling. Hindi ko nga alam kung kailan ako matututong manipulahin ang aking kidlat."
"Hindi mo pagmamay-ari ang kidlat, tanging sinusumamo mo lamang ito mula sa kalikasan, Semfes," Alamia told Semfes.
Alamia turns around and says, "Magtiwala ka sa iyong kakayahan. Maniwala kang makokontrol mo ang iyong elemento, huwag na huwag kang susuko."
At the present, Semfes pushes himself once again using his hands and he successfully bounces from the ground. His whole body spins and blue lightning appears around both of his hands forming onto a shape of a blade.
The red tentacles were cut immediately by the blades of blue lightning which are encircled around his hands. Then he rolls aside and stands up, but unfortunately, the looming red wave falls upon Semfes.
The looming red wave becomes solid; covering the whole red terrain. Somewhere far away, in the same dimension. A young woman can be seen looking at herself in the mirror in front of her, all of a sudden, multiple sounds of a hand hitting the door can be heard by the young woman.
"Pasok," the young woman spoke as she gently rubs her blue long hair.
The brown door moves forward and a matured looking woman steps inside the room. She speaks as she moves her eyes everywhere. "Si Ginoong Erishem po ay umalis lang saglit, bale dalawang araw pa po bago ang inyong kasal. May nais po ba kayong i-utos sa amin?"
Alamia shakes her head and replies, "Wala naman... Gusto ko lamang maging mapag-isa."
Meanwhile, on the battlefield wherein Semfes and Erishem are battling. Erishem laughs softly and yells loudly. "WALA KA NAMAN PALANG IPAGMAMALAKI! TANGING MAHINA KA, BATANG LALAKE!"
"Walang binatbat," Erishem says, "ayaw ni Alamia sa mga pabigat na tulad mo."
Hence he disappears from the scene leaving Semfes buried by his red gigantic wave. In the dimension of humans. Hemetus, Hackilion, Kaiven, and Ranaliantria can be seen standing in the same forest.
Ranaliantria who is standing while resting her back on a body of a tall tree, speaks, "Ang kaibigan ninyo, panigurado ba kayong sapat na ang kanyang kakayahan upang makaligtas mula sa mundong iyon?"
Kaiven who is sitting on a piece of a thick log on the ground shifts his eyes on Ranaliantria. "Ako, hindi ko alam kung makakaya niya... Ngunit may kakayahan siyang tapatan ang abilidad ng tulad ng kay Hemetus."
"Maaring may kakayahan siya, ngunit sasapat na kaya iyon?" Hackilion says, "mabait siyang bata at matapang kaya paniguradong makakaya niya 'yon."
"Gusto kitang sabihang bobo, ngunit hindi ko alam kung aayunan kita o hindi," Kaiven tells him, "pero tama ang iyong sinabi na mabait at may kakayahan siya... Pero kung sa abilidad ang pag-uusapan ay sasapat na siya upang mabuhay sa loob ng kagubatan ng isang buwan.
"Ang mga dimensyon ay may kanya-kanyang tagapagbantay na may kapangyarihan na aabot sa lebel na tulad ng sa akin," Hemetus tells his companions, "ang kapanyarihan ko ay may dalawang uri: ang pangkaraniwang apoy, at ang apoy na maaring ihalintulad sa init ng kumukulong putik."
Hackilion narrows his eyes at Hemetus. "At ano ang sinasabi mo, Hemetus? Na maaring hindi na umabot pa ng buhay si Semfes sa mundong iyon?"
Hemetus shifts his eyes toward Hackilion, then he nods. "Maaring oo o maaring hindi. Walang nakakaalam sinoman sa atin."
In the dimension where people who sacrificed their life go. Three old men are standing on top of a red terrain, and a young man can be seen near them and he remains in a deep sleep.
The red powder can be seen on his face and his attire. One of the old men speaks while gazing on the sleeping young man. "Kinalaban niya siguro ang pulang mandirigma kaya siya nagkaganyan?"
The other old men speaks, "Walang sinoman ang nakakaalam, Newon. Mas makakabuting hintayin na lamang natin ang kanyang paggising, doon ay tanungin natin siya nang lubos-lubusan."
Newon shifts his eyes to the old man who spoke, he says, "Ang tanong... Magigising pa kaya siya? Matapos ang katagalan niyang pagkakabaon sa pulang lupa? Ngayon, Iko, walang kasiguraduhan na magigising pa ang batang iyan.
"Kung sinoman ang mamamatay sa kahit anong dimensyon ay—!"
The fingers on the hand of the young man shake a little, putting a stop to everyone's mouth and movement due to the shocking moment which is happening in front of them.
Then his eyes open slowly as his eyesight recovers from the blury sight in every second. He moves his face beside him seeing the three old man observing him.
"A-Anong nangyari?" The young man asked.
Newon turns beside him whilst the smaller among the old men answers the question of the young man. "Natagpuan ka namin na nakabaon sa lupaing ito... Ang totoo niyan ay hinukay ka pa namin, si Newon talaga ang nagnais na hukayin namin ang iyong—!"
"TAMA NA IYAN!" Newon turns around from his companions, "H-Hindi ako ang nakaisip ng planong iyan! Tsaka sino ba 'yang batang 'yan? Kayamanan ba siya na nasa baul upang siya ay aking pagplanuhang hukayin?"
The small old man laughs softly and remains looking at Semfes who is looking at Newon.
"Hayaan mo siya bata! Ganyan talaga siya ngunit sadyang mapagmahal 'yang matandang 'yan," he told Semfes.
Semfes asks Newon. "Lolo... Bakit ba kay laki yata ng galit mo sa akin?"
Iko laughs wholeheartedly and moves his eyes to Newon. "LOLO! Sagutin mo ang batang ito!"
Newon moves his face to Semfes, his face is surely painted by madness. "TAMA NA ANG TANONG! NASA LIMAMPU PA LAMANG ANG AKING KATANDAAN! MAS MAIGI PANG SUMAMA KA NA LAMANG SA AMIN UPANG MAKAKAIN—!"
Semfes clenches his hands while looking on the ground. "Hindi ako maaring magpahinga hangga't hindi ko naililigtas si Alamia... Hindi ako pumunta rito upang kumain po."
"Bata..." Iko gazes at Semfes, "Ano ang ibig mong sabihin?"
Semfes replies as tears fall from his eyes down to his chin. "Nagsakripisyo siya para sa ikasasaya ng iba, kahit na a-alam niyang mamamatay siya... Buong oras na nasasaktan siya dahil sa pag-iwan sa kanya ng kanyang minamahal sa buhay, ay wala ako sa kanyang tabi."
Newon moves his eyes down but immediately moves it up to Semfes. "Bata... Alam mo bakit ka pumunta rito?! Ang tanga-tanga mo!"
"Ayos lang ang maging tanga, isang tanga na susundan ang kanyang kasamahan sa mundong hindi niya dapat pinuntahan pa," Semfes moves his eyes up at Newon, "kesa maging isang taong makasarili na nasa palad na niya ang paraan upang mabago niya ang lahat, kaso hindi naman niya pinanagutan at ginawa ang paraang 'yon!"
Newon grimaces at Semfes. "Magaling ka lang sa mga salita ngunit alam mo bang naglalaro ka na ng sugal ngayon? Sinusugal mo ang buhay mo sa isang desisyon na hindi mo na mababago ka—!"
Semfes yells loudly. "ALAM KONG MAIBABALIK KO SIYA! ALAM KO 'YON! PAKIUSAP! HINDI KO NA ALAM ANG AKING GAGAWIN!"
Newon's eyes go wide and it seems that Semfes made him stunned.
"At alam ko na sinusugal ko ang buhay ko para sa isang planong hindi ko na mababago pa," Semfes tells Newon, "ngunit ang masagip ko siya mula sa kalungkutan na nasa kanya, na kahit kailanman ay walang sumama sa kanya upang saluhin ang kalungkutan na iyon.
Isa na 'yong malaking bagay na para sa akin.
"Kaya narito ako... Narito ako sa mundong ito upang siya'y aking sagipin. Kahit dito na kami mananatili kapag hindi na kami makabalik sa mundo ng mga tao, isa na 'yong napakalaking biyaya na sa akin."
Iko looks down as he cries silently, the small old man uses his red upper clothing to wipe the tears off his eyes. Newon remains looking at Semfes and Semfes is doing the same.
"Sige," Newon narrows his eyes at Semfes, "sige, tutulong kami sa iyong misyon, tutulungan ka naming masagip ang minimithi mong sagipin."
Iko moves his face up at Newon. "Newon..."
"Matanda na kami at matagal nang nakalibing sa aming kaloob-looban ang aming lakas! Wala naman sigurong masama kung ika'y aming tutulungan!" The small old man told Semfes.
"Sigurado po ba kayo?" Semfes asked.
Newon didn't laugh, he replies calmly. "Mukha ba akong nagbibiro? Isa pa mukhang pursigido ka talagang sagipin ang taong gusto mong sagipin."
