She prefers to fight using her brain. What's the use of her high functioning brain if she will not use it? Tsk.
"Whoah! That was so cool of you! Did you see his face? It's awful!" Iyon agad ang bungad ni Yanna sa kanya.

She mentally rolled her eyes. Mukhang nag-enjoy nga ito base sa kakaibang ngisi nito. Such a freak.
"The party is over anytime soon, let's go home." Yaya niya. There's no point in staying longer in this place.

Am I alone? She sighed. Emotion got over her again.
Tuwing uuwi siya sa malaking bahay na yun ay pamilyar na kahungkagan ulit ang nararamdaman niya. Alam niyang mali pero di niya maiiwasan. Damn. She got it! Every situation should be under control.
She’s been taught to think rationally. Bawal sa kanya ang magpadala ng emosyon. Utak ang dapat pairalin laban sa damdamin. Iyon ang laging itinatatak ng magulang niya sa murang isipan. She's not allowed to let her feelings out. Bawal ang anumang emosyon. Walang kwenta, hangal at tanga ang mga taong nagpapadala ng emosyon.
If her mother is still alive, she would probably call her stupid again for feeling such nonsense things. Unfortunately, wala na ang mga ito. They met a car accident a month ago. As much as she wants to grieve for her parent's loss, she can't.

And of course, her parents forbid her to do so. Kahit na wala na ang mga ito, she was still living in their shadow, in their memories. All her life, she did nothing but to make everything just to please them. She still remembered how cumbersome it is.
Whenever she commits mistakes, they would punish her, reminding her not to take failures lightly for every failure shall be punished accordingly. She's not stupid to be repeated twice. They want everything perfect for her because according to them, they love her and only want what's the best for her. Her parents are both scientist and they possess such high intellectual skills. They came from a family of “Einsteins” where everyone is hyper intelligent.
Being an only child, she bears the pressure, their expectations. She spent her childhood reading lots of book. At the age of three she already memorizes the periodic table of elements because she was so fond of it. She wants to be a scientist like them also. Unfortunately, for her parents it is still not enough. She needs to learn more. She must work hard to hone her skills and intelligence.
People may adore her for being an intelligent child but it’s not enough for her. All she wanted is the recognition from her parents, nothing more nothing less. She wanted their acknowledgement, their proud faces, and their attention. So, she studied everything, she wants to learn, acquire, and monopolize all the information around her. She barely plays and spent her time in experimenting new things.
All the hard works were paid-off. She never felt so accomplished when she saw the proud and pleased face of her parents as she received the golden plaque for the youngest scientist award at the age of five. Well, she just experimented how to create an electricity using magnets. Indeed, a breakthrough in the world of science.
