At the restaurant. 
"Good afternoon Mister Lopez. I will call you back after finishing my lunch with my wife." Matthew professionally stated before he end the call between Mister Lopez, his agent. 
"I'm sorry for that, my lady. Your husband is working hard for our future." He said with a wink. 
I immediately averted my gaze when I saw him looking at me seductively. 
"Stop it Gomez we are not yet married." I said. 
He sigh. 
"I know, my darling. But can I ask you something?" He asked while pouting. 
"What? You will marry me? Pang one hundred times mo na atang tinanong sakin yan." I said while twirling the fork sa aking garlic, shrimp pasta. 
"Fine fine. I'll asked you nalang at the right time." He said with a deep sigh. 
"I will marry you Mister Gomez." I seriously said that makes him smile. 
Natawa naman ako sa way ng pag ngiti nya. He looks like a kid na nabigyan ng lollipop ng nanay. 
"I miss that smile love." I said while staring at his cute face. 
Matthew changed a lot. From the unstylish boy who only study and super clumsy to a man who have a masculine body, clean haircut, and professional outfit. 
"Stop it your making me blush." He said while he makes himself busy by eating his carbonara. 
"Go on eat na nga tayo you have a meeting pa pala." I said before I continue eating. 
After eating and talking about our day we now called the waiter for the receipt. I ready my money because I like it when things are 50/50. Nagmamadali pako because I know Matthew will pay for it, pero bago ko pa man malabas yung money sa wallet ko is nakaalis na yung waiter dahil nabayaran nya na kaagad. 
"Too slow love. Diba I told you naman na from now on I will pay for every meal na we are going to eat." He said with a smile. 
"Fine fine but next time let me treat you naman." I said. 
Nag thumbs up naman sya. 
"Ow before I forgot." He said before nya sinimulang kalikutin yung suitcase nya. 
He showed me a two red envelope. 
"What is this?" I asked with a excited voice. 
"It's a gift for us. Lets go to maldives for a vacation." He said with a smile. 
I immediately opened the envelope and yes tama nga sya its a plain ticket papuntang Maldives. 
Mabilis akong tumayo para yakapin sya and I also kissed him sa lips but a fast one gusto ko pa syang I tease. 
"Ano ba yan bitin sa kiss." He laughed. 
Inasar kolang naman sya by mocking my face. 
"But seriously thank you for this. I appreciate it." I said excitedly. 
Nagsimula na kaming kumain quietly but both with a smile on our lips. Behind my smile there's a memories na biglang bumalik. Batangas is the first place na pinag bakasyunan namin ng matagal and the thought of it na magiging masaya and peaceful sya ay nabaliktad those tragic memories and pain that I've been through will scar me to life. 
I can say that I already moved on from it but the memories last. Sa isip isip ko nalang hindi ko ikukulong ang sarili ko sa past na I have no control. Instead I will focus here sa present and preparing for a soft life in the future. Syempre still with the most gorgeous human being here on the planet. Still with Matthew. 
Matthew's POV
It's been a week since I showed the ticket to Amanda. I've been busy finishing all of my agendas para pag punta namin sa maldives ay wala nakong iisipin and wala akong ibang gagawin but to enjoy all my time for her. 
"Done." I said while stretching my arms. 
Two days later I found myself waiting at the airport. One hour late na si Amanda I wonder what makes her late. I insist na sunduin sya but she decline gusto nya daw mag drive mag isa papuntang airport, wala naman akong nagawa cause she is the boss. My boss. 
I heard a familiar voice from my back kaya naman agad akong napalingon dito. At dito nasilayan ko ang napaka gandang babae wearing a beige summer hat and a pink floral dress, she's with a flight attendant na busy sa pag eexplain sa kanya ng kung ano-ano. 
"I'm sorry for making you wait love." She said sadly and then she hug me. 
I immediately smiled at her. 
"No worries my princess, I can wait even if it takes a thousands of years, cause my life is dedicated only to you." 
I said genuinely that makes her smile. 
"Cheesy Matthew." Pang aasar nya sabay pisil sa ilong ko. 
Ilang minuto din kaming nag usap ni Amanda sa departure ng NAIA airport dito sa Manila, na ikwento nya din na kaya sya late cause she talked to her manager about her career. And after ilang minutes, komportable na kaming nakaupo sa first class seat sa loob ng eroplano. 
The flight took almost 11h of our time and alam kong pagod na si Amanda, hindi din sya gaanong nakatulog ng maayos sa buong flight dahil may nakasabay kaming baby na iyak ng iyak buong byahe. Pagkababa namin ng plane ay kaagad kaming sinalubong ng hinire ko na service. It's a black car na may logo ng hotel sa left side of the car its states 'La Vida Vergil'
During byahe namen saka lang nakatulog si Amanda sa balikat ko. She looks so tired papunta palang tired na sya, but I will make sure na ma eenjoy nya itong 2 weeks vacation namin. 
"Baby we're here." Malumanay na gising ko kay Amanda, but instead na magmulat sya ng mata ay mas inilapit nya pa ang mukha nya sakin signalling me na ayaw nya pang gumising, that's why I don't have any choice but to carry her. 
Binuhat ko sya ng pa bride style yet she is still in a deep sleep. Sumakay na kami ng elevator at kasabay namin sa loob ang isang hotel staff na may bitbit ng mga gamit namin. Nag stop ang elevator sa 4th floor kaya naman lumabas na kami. 
Pagbukas ng pinto ng hotel room namin ay kaagad kong hinanap ang bedroom upang maihiga ko ng maayos si Amanda. Then after humanap ako ng towel at binasa ko ito with warm water para mapunasan ko ang mahimbing na natutulog na si Amanda. After ko syang punasan ay inayos ko ang kumot sa kanya, I prepared myself to sleep naden bago ako tumabi sa kanya. Tommorow will be a good day pero sa ngayon magpapahinga muna kami from that 11hours of flight. 
I kissed my Amanda on her cheeks and whisper I love you on her ear before I go to sleep.
