Third Person's P.O.V
He already moved on but, he was not happy at all. All he feels was emptiness inside. Just like Eman, he's trying his best to move forward. Acceptance, hindi pa rin niya tanggap na wala na si Lyrae. Nevertheless, he's trying to divert his attention. To those things that he needs to prioritize. Iyon naman kasi ang dapat niyang gawin. Move on.
He's now an architect, a licensed architect to be precise.
He let out a deep sigh.
Currently, he's at his office doing stuffs and sketches, doing new model for the new collaboration project with an engineer in which hindi niya alam kung sino. He massage the bridge of his nose and irritatedly mess his hair.
"Anak ng tipaklong naman oh!" He hissed. Napasandal na lang ito sa swivel chair niya at napapikit. Kulang na nga siya sa tulog, wala pa siyang maisip na magandang layout. He mess his hair again once more. The deadline is already near.
"Ayoko na!" He stand up and storm out from his office. Pumunta muna siya sa canteen upang magkape.
Two employees greeted him. "Good morning, Sir!" tango lang iyong sagot niya sa mga ito at nagpatuloy sa paglalakad patungong sa canteen. Nakabusangot pa din siya din siya dahil sa inis na nararamdaman.
"Bad mood." A employee mumbled.
Upon entering the canteen, all of eyes are on him. Hindi naman kasi maitatangging may appeal talaga siya. Even though he looks like a badboy, but still, he's like a greek God walking.
Sana all, 'di ba? Stress pero gwapo pa rin.
He order a coffee and sat down while waiting. Maya-maya naman ay nag-ring iyong phone niya kaya kinuha niya ito mula sa bulsa at sinagot.
"Hello?" He answered, still frowning his well shaped brows.
[Good morning mister Lopez! Are you busy this week? Ipapakilala sana kita sa ka-collab nating engineer,]
He massage his temple this time and tightly close his yes to control his emotion. Namo-mroblema pa nga siya kasi wala pa siyang perspective layout tapos meet na agad sa ka-collab na company engineer. Mariin muna siyang napa-ilingat dumilat pagkatapos.
Looks like I need to stay all night up again. He said in his mind.
He let out a problematic sigh. "I'm kind of busy this week, Sir. But, I will fixed my schedule and call you once I'm available." Iyon na lang ang naging tugon niya.
The conversation was still in other line so they keep talking until the person in the other line hangs up the call for some business matters.
Tumayo siya at binitbit iyong kape niya at bumalik sa opisina niya. He's still annoyed but, he can't do anything about it. Kailangan talagang niyang tapusin.
Hours until it turns into days. Oo, Gannon ka tagal bago niya na-finalize iyong ginawa niya. He put some touches and send the layout to the head engineer of the company na ka collab ng company na pinagta-trabahoan niya.
He didn't mind if what is the full name of the person, he send the email right away and let himself rest because he was super sleepy.
He let himself take a long sleep.
DAYS passed and he's still busy as ever. But, he did cancel his other appointments for tomorrow. Kinabukasan na kasi siya makikipagkita sa engineer na makaka-trabaho niya. He loosen his tie at inalis ito. He was not scared violate the rules. He didn't bother to be scolded by his boss because it's his uncle.
Alam naman kasi niyang hindi na ito makikipagtalo sa kaniya dahil hindi naman ito mananalo. He transfer the files in the flashdrive first and put it in his pocket.
Aalis na sana siya ng mapansin niyang may bagong architect na ini-introduce sa kompanya. And because he was Renz, na ugaling chismoso na hambog, he took a steps and go over there.
"Hello! I'm Janna, bagong ka-trabaho niyo. Nice to meet you all!" He let out a fake cough to catch thier attention but, siya pa iyong natigilan sa nakita. Because the girl who introduces as Janna is look alike and has the same features as Lyrae.
He looks away that instant.
It's impossible! How could someone will just surprisingly appear and looks like her? Is this a fate? Bakit halos lahat ng angulo ay parehong-pareho?
He slightly shakes his head with those thoughts and look at her then smile. "Hi Janna! I'm Renz, your co-worker." He beamed and extend his hand for a handshake.
Janna just smiled at him too and take his hand. "Nice meeting you, Renz!" Then, she smile showing her parenthesis like dimples.
Hindi alam ni Renz kung bakit parang hindi maganda iyong kutob niya kay Janna. It seems like mayroon siyang dalang piligro sa kaniya at maging sa lahat. But still, he shows some manners as a formality in front of his uncle.
He pursed his lips and bid his goodbye.
He has many things to do at isa na roon ang pagbisita sa puntod ni Lyrae. It's been a while since pumunta siya roon. Recently kasi ay sobrang busy niya sa projects na nagsidagsaan.
Sumakay siya sa elevator and he press the ground floor button. A man in white suit greeted him, it was Matt. His cousin from his mother's side. They just chat a little and separate ways after they reach the said floor. He took on his pocket the car keys, agad namang nagserbato iyong kotse. He gets inside and starts to maneuver his car.
After a hour of driving, he already reach the Monravello Cemetery. Bumili muna siya ng bulaklak sa isang flower shop sa kalapitan, he pick those orange tulips flowers and pay for the bill.
Tulips are Lyrae's favorite flower.
Pagkapasok pa lang niya ay isang malamig na hangin agad ang sumalubong sa kaniya. He stop walking for a while, nakita niya kasi na nandoon si Eman sa puntod ng dalaga. It looks like he's spacing out while looking at her name.
Bumuntong-hininga na lang siya. Her graveyard was near to the gate kaya kahit nasa bukana ka pa lang ng sementeryo ay kitang-kita mo na ito.
Dahan-dahan na lang siyang lumapit lay Eman.
"Hey," Eman look at him and nod as a greeting. Umusog ito kaunti upang mailagay niya iyong bulaklak na dala niya. He also lit a candle ang offer a prayer. After that, he took a step backwards and let out a sigh.
"Ka-miss si Lyrae 'no?" A sad smile crept in his lips. Eman just keeping his silence.
"Nakakamiss iyong mga tawa niya, iyong mga kulit niya, iyong mga sapak niya," napatawa na lang siya sa sinabi.
Totoo naman kasi, mahilig manapak ang dalaga.
Ibinulsa muna niya ang kaniyang kamay at nagpatuloy. "Nakaka-miss iyong may nag-aalala sa'yo. Na may nagagalit sa'yo kapag may ginawa kang mali. I really miss everything about her."
When he look at Eman ay nakatingin din ito sa kaniya ng malungkot. They're rival before because they both like her but, doesn't mean they didn't care in each other's feelings.
He feel a tap of his shoulder. "Okay lang 'yan, tol. Kaya natin 'to. We can overcome this and let ourselves accept that she's not here anymore."
Wala siyang nagawa kung hindi ang ngumiti ng peke.
Eman sigh and continue. "That even we're still on this page, we will do our best to continue living kahit na wala na siya sa piling natin.
