Ganther Uries Neric Asuncion's Point of View
I can hear their footsteps, their shouts that are full of pain. Everyone went mad. Everything is in chaos. But instead of being scared. I'm laughing so hard as if their screams are funny. I never get excited like this. Never. Just now. Hindi ko mabilang kung ilang beses ako matabig ng mga tumatakbo.
I licked my lips Nilabas ko ang dagger na hawak ko. Maybe it's not bad to play along right? Madilim ang paligid pero ramdam ko ang mga tao sa paligid ko. This is why I love darkness. Darkness is my advantage. My saving grace. I chuckled as I grip my dagger tightly. I don't have any plan to kill my pieces. And killing isn't my thing. Maybe controlling. Dahan-dahan akong lumayo sa hall. Until I reached into the cafeteria. My shoes are the only thing that can be heard in the hallway. Napatigil ako sa paglalakad ng makitang tumatakbo ang isa sa mga kaklase ko. Even it's dark I can see how terrified he is. Nabangga n'ya ako kaya pareho kaming natumba.
"F*CK!" I heard him curse. It's Dennis Espada.
"Hey, Dennis." Alam kong nakilala n'ya ako. Ramdam ko ang pagkalma nito.
"Ganther?" Tinulungan ko itong tumayo.
"Yes, it's me. Why are you running?" I innocently asked. He heaved a sigh.
"Someone's chasing me." He said. We hide immediately as we heard running steps.
"That's the one who's chasing me," Dennis whispered to me. Tinignan ko ang tumatakbo it's Slade. Lumagpas s'ya sa 'min.
"It's our classmate. Renato. He's your friend right? Why he is chasing you?." I lied. Rinig ko muli ang magmura n'ya. Hindi n'ya kasi ito makita dahil sa dilim.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, he's holding a dagger. He looks so mad why?" Another bad word came from him.
"Sabi n'ya okay na. Hindi na s'ya galit. He is lying to me." Bakas ang galit sa boses into.
" You are his best friend right? Bakit kayo magkagalit?."
"It's none of your business." I took a deep sighed acted as I care.
"I-i'm sorry," Kinuha ko ang kamay n'ya at nilagay ang dagger sa palad n'ya.
"You see, he wants you to die, if I were you kill him first para hindi s'ya magtagumpay. A person like him isn't a friend. Pinaniwala ka n'yang okay na kayo but look what's happening right now. He is ready to stab you at your back. It's scary." Nanginginig ang kamay n'yang tinanggap ang dagger.
"You are right. I don't want to die. I'll not let him." Tumayo ito. At walang salitang iniwan ako. I shrugged he's a weak one. I just easily ruined his mind and manipulate him to believe something isn't true. This is what I want about manipulation. Everyone is in your hand. You can control them. Umalis ako sa pinagtataguan ko at walang ingay na naglakad.
"AAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH." My lips formed a smile as I heard that familiar sound. Dahan-dahan akong pumunta sa pinanggalingan ng sigaw and there I saw Renato lying at the cold floor with blood gushing in his throat. Dennis and Cris, short for Cristobal.
"F*ck man, why did you kill him?" Cris hissed. Dennis laughed without humor. "Inunahan ko lang s'ya. He wants me dead. He's still mad at m—" He stops from talking when Cris yelled at him furiously.
"WHAT THE F*CK MAN? ANONG GALIT. HINDI S'YA GALIT—" He didn't continue his sentence because Dennis slit his throat too. There's no remorse in his face while looking at his friends lying on the floor while their blood is spreading around.
"Are you really a fool aren't you?" I asked him. Dennis looked at me with a puzzled face. But, later on, he smiled and point to his so-called friends.
"Look, Ganther naunahan ko sila. Thank you for telling me that Renato wants me dead—" I raised my right hand signaling him to stop talking. And he did.
I chuckled but it's lifeless. "And you believe in that?" Kahit madilim nakita ko kung paano nagbago ang emosyon sa mga mata n'ya. "I pity you, Dennis. Do you really believe that Renato your friend wants you dead? And you even kill Cristobal. Kaibigan ka ba talaga? I wonder what kind of friend are you?"
"W-what do you mean?" Bakas ang kaba sa boses n'ya. Para bang biglang nag-sink in sa utak n'ya ang binitawan kong salita.
"D-did you lie to me?" His lips are trembling. His eyes were watery. He looks like a lost puppy right now. I clapped my hands before answering.
"I lied? Maybe yes, but isn't my fault right? You are the one who did this," I pointed to the lifeless bodies of his friends. "It was your choice. If you are going to believe me or not. Besides, I just want to test your brain but I didn't expect that, it was so easy to play with your mind. Look what you did. You killed your friends. Murderer."
He gritted his teeth. Galit na galit ito sa 'kin. He attacked me. Nanginginig ang kamay nito habang sakal-sakal ako. Madiin ang paghawak n'ya sa leeg ko. I slowly losing my breath. Nanlalabo narin ang mga mata ko. But I manage to smirk at him.
"M-mur-de-rer." I mouthed to him na lalo nitong diniin ang pagkakasakal sa 'kin. Tuluyang nag-dilim ang paningin ko. Hanggang maramdaman ko ang pagbagsak ko sa sahig. I held my neck and starts coughing so hard.
"F*ck! Are you okay, Ganther?" It's Onyx he held my face. And check my neck napamura naman ito. I look to Dennis he was now lifeless, while his eyes were opened. I turned my eyes to Onyx who's looking at me right now.
"O-onyx, H-he attacked m-me. I-i don't know why." Tears streamed down to my face. He gently wiped it off.
"Ssssh, it's okay he's gone no one can hurt you again, Sssh." He hugs me tightly. As I buried my face to his chest. I grinned. And shut my eyelids off. As I closed my eyes the clock ranged and it means the game is over. All the lights turn on. Kayang kitang-kita ang mga katawang nagkalat. And the whole place is filled with blood. And I'm sure the whole university has a blood flood right now.
"Good job, everyone but still the targets are still alive, so take a rest a see you in the next devil's time." That was the last thing I heard before my whole system shut down because of tiredness.
Onyx Ollivander Faiz Leighton's Point of View
"F*ck! naisahan tayo!" Orion hissed. Sama-sama kami ngayon. That f*cking devil's time is over. We are planning for the next step.
"Almost of our men dies. Nadamay pa ang ibang students. This is bad, Onyx and Orion." Bry hissed. I massage my nose bridge.
"The gates are locked. And the funny thing was the signals are down too. Mukhang planadong-planado lahat." Tyren added.
"I'm trying to hack the security system of this university but I can't. The security is so tight." It's Alex. He's typing something to his laptop.
"They really corner us, huh," I smirked and lean to the backrest of the couch.
"Onyx what's the plan?" I took a glance at my twin who's now in deep thinking too.
"Play along with them and find that man. We can't connect outside. So our resources were only inside. Later one hour before that Devil's hour that they are saying. Kailangan kong makausap ang mga natitira nating tauhan." I said. They are silently listening to me. "And we need to fight. Nasa loob lang din ang kalaban. And that's our advantage. They might control everything inside this hell but they forgot that I'm the one who designs this university. There are still many secrets that they don't know. I have a plan don't worry."
"Ano naman 'yon?." Orion asked. I shrugged.
"Sorry, but I can't tell it right now. Especially that there's a traitor here. Hide as long as you can. Kasi pag nakilala kita. I'm the one who will kill you in my bare hands." I dangerously said. Saka iniwan silang tahimik. I went to my room where Ganther is. I was in a panic when he suddenly passed out. So I bring him to my room. He still sleeping in my bed. I can't help but to cursed out while looking at him. There's a mark on his neck. Pulang-pula ito. He's pale too.
"Why Dennis is so mad at you?" I whispered. Kilala ko si Dennis he has a long temper maging mga kaibigan n'yang sila si Cris at Renato they are called trio. What really happened?.
The way I saw madness in Dennis's eyes isn't normal. Galit na galit 'to. It's like Ganther did something that makes Dennis lose his sane.
"And why I didn't even think twice about killing him just to save you? Ganther, what did you do to me? I can't hurt Misha. I-i love her. And you're just nothing but a lost one here."
