"Woah really? I didn't hear about this article that we broke up. No one mentioned it to me." I said and got my phone and read some articles written when we broke up and when I wasn't seen around him as we walked inside the mall. "You didn't release a statement regarding that issue?"
"Yes. I'm busy and I don't want them to know that you and I were already done at that time because I knew that we'll go back together." He said and held my hand tighter. We went to a store where they sell baby clothes because Sheina and Kiel are already there. "Let's go to the newborn section." He said and pulled me towards that aisle.
"Babe, we don't need newborn clothes. Bri and Adi are already a month old." I said to him as he continued to look at the clothes. He asked for a basket from the sales lady and the girl gave him one. "Thank you." I thanked her and started looking. We both looked around until we realized that our basket was already full of clothes. "You'll pay the half while I pay the other half."
"You don't need to." He said and gave his card to the cashier. We're walking to a restaurant with Kiel and Sheina to eat lunch when my phone rang. "Who's calling?"
"River." I said and answered the call. "River. What do you need?"
"Tell Adriel that I hate him so much. I can't have free time because he's not doing his work. I can't even have a date with Dusk, while the two of you are photographed kissing and shopping for baby clothes." Mahabang alintana niya. "By the way, why are you guys in a baby clothes shop? Since when did the two of you get back together?"
"I'll tell Kyst to work tomorrow. We're with Sheina, Kiel and the babies." I answered her question. "We'll eat lunch. Do you want to eat with us?"
"Sure. Yayain ko sila Hillary. Bye." Sabi niya at pinatay ang tawag.
"What did she say?" Kyst asked and put his arm on my waist. "Hi there little one." He suddenly said and caressed my tummy with his other hand.
"Stop doing that. We're in a public place and no one knows that I'm— you are what?" Kiel cutted what I'm saying to Kyst.
"She's so pretty." Kyst said and guided me to sit. "We'll go to a Doctor tomorrow alright? I love you." He whispered then sat beside me.
"Yeah. By the way, River and the others will be joining us for lunch. We should wait for them." I said and rested my head on his shoulder. "Should we consult Tita Trisha?"
"Do you want her to check you? I don't have a problem with who'll check you, all I want is for you to be comfortable." He said and put his arm on my shoulder. "Do you have plans on telling our parents that you're you know."
"I do but right now, it's still complicated and we're still not sure. Do you have plans to say it?" I asked him back.
"I'll probably say it after I find who's sending you death threats. I think it's better that it's just us and your doctor knows that you're pregnant because of this situation." He said and kissed my temple.
"Let's consult a different doctor, hmm? Do you recommend any?" I asked him and he shook his head.
"Doctor? Why do you need a doctor?" Kiel asked, so we both looked at him.
"Because I was sick last week. I want to consult a doctor to ensure my good health." I said to Kiel and got Bri in his arms. "Hi Bri."
"You're sick last week but you're just gonna get checked up this week? What's with the mindset?" Kiel asked, and gave Bri to me. "Sheina let them have the twins first. Let's go somewhere since River and the others are still on their way."
"Is it okay with them?" Sheina asked and looked at us.
"It's fine. When we have our own baby, we'll also leave it to the two of you." Kyst said to her and removed his arm from my shoulder then stood up and got Adi in Sheina's arms. "Bilisan niyo. Baka biglang dumating sila River."
"Thanks." Kiel said and pulled Sheina with him.
"What should we do?" Kyst asked as he sat beside me.
"Take care of the two." I answered him and caressed Bri's cheeks. "Hi Bri, you're the cutest baby I held in my arms."
"Really? Are you sure that Bri is the cutest and not me?" He asked, which made me chuckle. He's jealous because of the babies? Cute.
"You aren't a baby anymore, Kyst. You're a man, my man to be exact." I said and kissed his cheek. "I love you."
"You're now claiming me as yours huh." He said and kissed me. "I love you and our unborn baby, babe." He whispered and kissed me again.
"Thank you for the welcome. Ganyan niyo kamiss ang isa't isa no kaya pati sa harap ng bata naghahalikan kayo." We heard Hillary's voice , which made us look at them. She walked towards me and gently got Bri in my arms. River did the same with Adi. "It's good to see you again." She said and then kissed my cheeks.
"Get your work done, Adriel. Ako nahihirapan sayo." River said to Kyst, Kyst chuckled and nodded at her. She walked towards me and kissed my cheeks. "Welcome back, Lovelle. I hope you can convince Adriel to work hard."
"Thank you. Don't worry he'll work hard starting tomorrow." I said to her and then looked at Kyst. "Right, Kyst?"
"Yeah. I need to work hard for my family."
"What family? You already have a child and a wife?" Teal asked jokingly then walked to Hillary. "Why didn't you say that to us?"
"I have a wife. Lovelle is my wife then I'll kidnap the twins so we can have babies." He answered Teal and chuckled.
"Can't you produce your own babies? You guys can make one if you really want a baby." Dusk said and sat down beside River.
"We don't need to make one, we already have not just one but two." He said to Dusk which made me look at him completely shocked. Is he going to say that I'm pregnant? "Bri and Adi are enough. Making our own baby isn't our priority right now."
"Love, why are you holding your stomach? Are you hungry already?" Hillary asked and so I looked down and saw that my hand was really on my stomach. I unconsciously touched it so I removed my hand from my tummy.
"No. I'm not hungry yet." I answered her then hugged Kyst from the side. "I didn't know that I was touching my tummy."
"Yeah, Sheina was the first one to notice it." He whispered to me and chuckled. "That's fine. They'll just think that you're hungry or your stomach is aching."
"Hindi talaga kayo nilulubayan ng media 'no? New story everyday. Hindi sila nagsasawa sa inyo." Hillary said while peeking at Teal's phone.
"That's part of our life since last december." I said to her and sat properly. "What is it this time?"
"It's a photo of you and Adriel then your ring. Today's topic is the possibility that you guys are already engaged." Teal answered me. I lifted my hand and looked at the ring. "Kala ko ba hindi natuloy ang proposal?"
"It's a birthday gift." Kyst answered him and got my hand. "The ring is really perfect in your hand." He said and started playing with my hand.
"Did we take that long? We're sorry." Sheina said and got Adi in River's arms. "I'll put them in their stroller for the meantime. go order our food."
We all look at the menu. "Lovelle and I will have salad." Kyst said which made all of us stop and looked at him. "Did I say something wrong?"
"Since when did you like salad?" River asked him curiously then looked at me. "What did you do to my cousin? How did he like salad all of the sudden?"
"Don't ask me, I'm also wondering when did he like salad. He hates vegetables." I said and chuckled. Kyst leaned forward to me and whispered something.
"You need to eat healthy foods." He whispered to me and put my hair behind my ear. "So we'll eat salad."
"I get that I need to eat healthy foods but that doesn't mean you need to eat salad too. Go order what you want." I said to him and chuckled. "I appreciate that you want us to eat salad but I'll appreciate it more if you eat what you like."
"We'll have salad. Don't ask why, I just want to eat vegetables." Kyst said to them, which made their jaw drop.
They ordered our food. And when we received it we ate our food while I'm looking at Kyst eating vegetables, amused. "We should eat vegetables everyday, you looked entertaining while eating vegetables." I said to him and pinched his cheeks. He removed my hand on his cheeks and leaned his face towards my ears.
"Wag mo akong palihian. I want our little one to look like you." He whispered to me then continued eating. "We'll go home after this."
"Anong uuwi ka? Dumiretso ka sa office Adriel. Attend your remaining meetings for today." River said to him which made me chuckle.
"Yeah, babe. You should attend your remaining meeting. I'll stay at your office while you're working." I agreed with River.
After we ate, we went to his office. I stayed at his office while he was at his meeting. After he got off work we ate dinner at a restaurant then went home.
"You should have just sent me home. I know that you'll be too lazy to get up tomorrow." I said and laid beside him. I just got out of the bathroom. He suddenly went on top of me so I was carrying his weight. "You're heavy."
"I'm sorry." He said and suddenly switched places. "Don't worry. I'll just cook you breakfast then I'll go to work and go home before lunch to have lunch with you." He said and kissed me.
"Just make sure you'll do that." I said and laid beside him. He hugged me and pressed his face on my neck and started to give me small kisses. "Babe, I'm tired and sleepy."
"Already?" He asked me and then continued giving me kisses. "All you did in my office was to sleep. Our little one is really making you tired and sleepy."
"Because my body is adjusting. Hormonal changes are normal in the first 12 weeks of pregnancy." I said and yawned. "Can we just rest for tonight? We just got back together."
"Oh right. Sorry I just missed you so much. The last time I saw you, you thought you're just dreaming." He said and chuckled. "You can sleep now, babe. I love you." He said and kissed me on the lips then he moved down and pressed his head on my chest.
"Goodnight. Thank you for understanding. I love you too." I said and kissed the top of his head. After that both of us fell asleep.
"Babe, wake up." I heard Kyst's voice and felt him gently tapping my shoulder. I opened my eyes and then sat down. "Good morning, babe."
"Good morning." I said and gave him a quick kiss. "What time is it?"
"Six. Let's eat breakfast. I need to go to work at 7:30." He said and stood up. "Wear your slippers." He said as he helped me stand up.
We went down straight to the kitchen and there I saw Ashton and the others. "Good morning. Kakarating n'yo lang?"
"30 minutes ago. Here I cooked you pancakes." Ashton said and handed me a plate of pancake but I didn't get it. "Why? You don't like pancakes anymore?"
"I don't like your pancakes. I want the ones that were cooked by Kyst." I said to him and they chuckled which made my eyebrows furrowed. "What? You guys are chuckling because?"
"Don't believe Kuya. I cooked that for you." He said and got the plate from Ashton then dragged me to the kitchen island. He got a fork and gave it to me. "Taste it. You'll know that I cooked that."
After we ate breakfast, I went to his room again to sleep while he went to his work.
