Nagising si Bliss na masakit ang kanyang katawan.
"Anak, how are you? Do you need something? May masakit ba sayo?" sunod-sunod na tanong ni Amara sa anak.
"Bakit ako nandito, mama? What happened?" tanong niya sa ina.
"You've passed- out, anak."
Then, Bliss remembered everything before she fainted.
"Do you want to eat anak? May masakit ba sayo? Tell me."
"I am fine, mama." mahinang sagot niya sa ina.
"Sobrang nag-alala lang ako sayo anak. Ayaw kong pati ikaw mawawala sa akin. Hindi ko na yon kakayanin anak. Magpa galing ka, okay?" mangiyak-ngiyak na sabi ng ina sa anak.
"Mama, don't worry. I am totally fine. Pwede na ba ako maka-uwi? I do not want to stay here."
"Kailangan lang natin hintayin yong findings ng doctor anak. Hintayin lang natin. Inaasikaso na rin ni Night yong bill para makalabas ka. He panicked when he called me." ani Amara.
"Okay, mama."
Few minutes later, pumasok si Night.
"Finally, you are awake, sweetie. How are you?" tanong ni Night kay Bliss. Tinitigan niya lang ang binata. Night is dumbfounded by her gestures.
"What is wrong? Is there something that bothers you?" he asked worriedly.
"Nothing. Never mind." matamlay niyang sagot sa binata.
"Anak, I'll be out for awhile. Hijo, ikaw muna bahala kay Amarie." pagpapa-alam ni Amara sa kanila.
"Sige po , tita."sagot ni Night kay Amara.
" Sweetie is there something wrong that I have done to you? Come on. Tell me. It seems that something is off with you. I do not want to think of it. What is the matter?" nag-alalang tanong ni Night sa kanya
She looked at him closely.
"Why did you leave me without saying something? Why did you disappear without a trace? Why did you not come back?"
"What do you mean, sweetie?" takang tanong ni Nigth kay Bliss. He was confused.
"Tan2x?" sambit ni Bliss. Nanlaki naman ang mata ni Night.
"Did you remember me now? How come?"
"Just answer my questions. Bakit di mo tinupad ang iyong pangako? Naghintay ako sayo pero ni anino mo di ko man lang nakita. Umasa ako na babalik ka pero hindi."
"Sweetie, please listen to me. Let me explain. I really wanted to go back but something happened."
"Jusmeyo bata ka. Bakit ka nagpapa -ulan? Tingnan mo tuloy ang basa mo na. Maligo ka na. Baka magkasakit ka pa niyan." sabi ng matanda kay Tan2x pagpasok niya sa bahay.
"Nana, I am fine. I just take a bath."sagot niya naman
"Oh siya sige na. Maligo ka na at mag bihis para kumain. Dadating ang mommy at daddy mo mamaya."
"Okay po, Nana."
Pumasok siya sa kanyang silid at naligo.
Nagbabasa muna siya ng libro bago matulog. Maya-maya ay may kumatok sa kanyang pintuan.
"Mommy?"
"Hello, son. How are you here?" tanong ng ina sa kanya.
"I am fine, mom. I am doing good." sagot niya sa ina.
"It is good to hear that, my son. Anyway, you need to pack up all of your things now."
" What do you mean, mom?" he asked in confusion.
"We will be leaving tomorrow. You will go back to Manila. You are overstaying here." sabi ng ina
"But Mom, I do not want to go back there anymore. I am okay here now. It is fine to me to live here." he said in disagreement
"You do not have a choice, son. You will go back there whether you like it or not." his mom said firmly.
"Mom, my happiness is here. I do not want to leave. Please let me stay." he pleaded
"Why do you want to stay here? Why suddenly change of mine? As far as I know, you badly want to go back to the city." sabi ng ina. Hindi agad nakasagot ang bata sa ina
"Tell me, son. Why do you want to stay here? Who makes you stay?"
umiwas ng tingin si Tan2x sa ina. "Come on, tell me. Do not be afraid to tell to your mom. Mommy is willing to listen. "anang ina para mapanatag ang anak
"Mom, I promised Bleng2x that I will not leave her. "
"Bleng2x? Who is she?"
"' She is my friend and special to me. Mom, can't I really stay here? Please. I promise to do the best that I can. Just let me stay here." he said and tried to convince his mother.
"Son, listen to me. I understand. I do not want to invalidate your feelings for wanting to stay here. However, we want the best for you son. You are too young. You will meet other people along your journey. You can find other friends there."
"Mom, I only want her to be my friend."
"Tanner, listen carefully. If you really like that person, there is a perfect time for both of you. You might forget her as time pass by. But, if you are meant to be then destiny will find a way to meet your path again at the right time. For now, you have to focus on your future. If you can stand yourself already, find her again."sabi ng ina."Did you understand?"
Kahit labag man sa kanyang kalooban ay tumango na lang si Night at sumunod sa utos ng ina.
"Anak, hurry up. We'll be late for our flight."sabi ng ina. Mabigat ang kalooban ni Night na umalis sa lugar na iyon. Tahimik lang siya sa biyahe at napansin iyon ng kanyang ama.
"What is wrong, son? You are not in the mood." tanong ng kanyang ama habang nagmamaneho ito.
"Nothing, Dad. I am fine."
"Are you sure? Something is off with you." komento ng kanyang ama.
" Do you want to see her first before we leave?" tanong ng ina sa kanya.
" the who?" takang tanong ng ama
"His friend and special someone."
"Really mom?" nagliliwanagv ang kanyang mga mata ng marinig ang sinabi ng ina.
"yeah, of course. Honey, let's go back there again."sabi ni Asshiana sa asawa.
They turned back their way. But tragedy happened, nawalan ng break ang minamanehong sasakyan ng kanyang ama. Nabangga sila sa punong accassia.
Night was in a coma for a half year. Ang laging nakabantay niya naman a ang kanyang abuela. Nang magising siya hinanap niya agad ang kanyang ina at ama
"Mommy? Daddy?''mahina niyang sabi
"Goodness, gracious. Finally, you are awake my grandson."sabi ng kanyang abuela. Pinatawag agad nito ang kanilang family doctor.
The doctor checked his vitals and everything.
"Abuela, where are mommy and daddy?"
"My dear, you need to take a rest first. Do you want something? What do you want? "ani Donya Lessandra
"I want to see Dad and mom, Abuela. I want to see them."
"My dearest, you need to be strong first. Do not worry, they were here a while ago. They were always here when you are still asleep."
"Are they fine, abuela."
"Y-yeah. T-they are fine. "
Simula ng magising si Night hindi niya pa nakita ang kanyang mga magulang. His grandmother said that they are busy in work. Gusto magtampo ni Night sa mga ito but mas pinili niyang intindihin ang magulang. ang mahalaga ay ligtas ito. But hindi pa rin siya kampante. His grandmother was acting weird everytime he asked about his parents.
"Mama, hanggang kailan ninyo itago sa bata na wala na si ate Asshiana at Kuya Ivo."
"Caroline, hanggang sa kaya niya na. Hindi niya pa ngayon. Paano niya matatanggap na patay ang kanyang ina at ama? In the right time."sagot ni Donya Lessandra
"Mom, whether we like it or not, he will know. It is much better na malaman niya kaysa iba na patay na si ate at kuya."
"Abuela, tita? Did I hear it right? It is not true, right? Mom and dad are alive. They are just busy." nangiyak-ngiyak na sambit ni Night ng marinig ang pinag-uusapan ng kanyang lola at tita.
"T-Tanner?"sabay ng kanyang lola at tita.
"My dear, let me explain. Please calm down."'
"Abuela, they are still alive right? Tita, you are wrong. They are alive."pasigaw niyang sabi.
"Hijo, you heard it right. Your parents died." sabi ng tita Caroline niya.
"Caroline Nicole, enough."
"No... nooooo..."' His tears flowed down from his eyes. He blamed himself for the death of his parents. It caused him trauma. Lessandra chose to bring him to US para mag therapy. It took him a year to recover from that incident.
