Silver's POV
Aside from this is my first time running after a Pebble A.K.A running for a nobody, this is also my first time walking under the rain for that nobody.
But right now, this is my first time showering in a cheap bathroom. It's damn tight with limited choices of cheap essentials. Who knows? Baka magkaroon pa ako ng allergic reactions sa mga 'to?!
Nonetheless, I need to use them. Kaysa naman mag-amoy tubig ulan ako.
"Maybe these products aren't that bad. I just need to look at the ingredients so I can decide what's the safest," I said to myself.
Oh wait! I almost forgot. First time ko rin na mag-ayos ng shower dahil tatanga-tanga 'yong kasama ko. Palibhasa timba at tabo lang ang gamit kaya hindi alam kung paano mag-ayos ng shower.
I forcefully closed my eyes when I remembered how she looked like when I saw her here. Nakabukas ang ilang butones ng uniform niya tapos bakat pa bra niya!
"Kadiri!" If only I can brush off that mental image.
Another thing made me cringe - the way she spoke in English! I hate to admit it but she does sound a bit fluent compared to those previous Pebbles I've encountered.
Naalala ko na naman siya. Kamusta kaya 'yong paso niya?
Inalog-alog ko ang ulo ko para mawala ang ideya sa isip. What the heck?! Why do I even care about that Pebble?
She's just a waste of space in my mind.
"Ano namang pakielaman ko kapag nasabuyan siya ng mainit na tubig habang ipinaghahanda ako ng paligo ko?"
Wait... That doesn't sound right. Bakit parang kinokonsensiya ko ang sarili ko?
Once again, inalog-alog ko ang ulo ko para mawala na ang ideyang 'yan. I should start showering para makalabas na ako sa cheap na lugar na 'to.
Nakakawala ng class.
Sa kalagitnaan ng pagshoshower ko, naalala kong wala pala akong damit.
I would never borrow cheap clothes from her. Heck! Ayaw ko rin magsuot ng pambabae! I'm one damn handsome man. I can't wear female clothes.
My first option was to go and make her get some clothes for me but quick realization hit me... Baka kung ano-anong kalkalin no'n! Temperature lang ng shower ay 'di na niya alam kung paano i-operate paano pa kaya ang ibang high-tech na gamit sa kwarto ko?

So, I texted Clint to buy me some clothes.
Ayaw pa ng gago nung una dahil panigurado raw na mamumulubi siya sa presiyo ng gusto kong mga damit. That fool even gave me choices.
One, is that he'll buy from less expensive clothing lines. Second, he'll buy me a million- dollar pair of clothes but I have to pay him back with 10% interest. The last option is that he'll buy me any cloth I want in exchange for that dumb Pebble.
I chose the first one.
Don't ask me why. Ayaw kong kinikwestiyon ang mga desisyon ko sa buhay.
Kaya, nang dumating siya ay nagbihis ako kaagad. Nang tinignan ko kung anong binili niya, napairap ako nang makitang hoodie ito.
Do I look like a man that wears bullshit hoodies?! Ano ako? Teenager?!
Gayunpaman, 'di ako pwedeng magreklamo kahit pa sinasabi ng ngisi niya na sinadya niyang bumili ng damit na malayo sa taste ko. I chose that eh.
Paglabas ko ng banyo, natameme ako nang makitang halos magkapareho kami ni Pebble ng suot - a black hoodie and black pants. Once again, a first time unlocked.
It's my first time to have a matching outfit with someone. Well, it's not identically alike but our fits are similar.
I don't like it still.
I'm ready to let it all slide not until I realized that they're eating together.
I don't know what kind of food is that. Ni hindi ko nga gusto ang hitsura niyang kulay brown na may puti-puti na hinihigop-higop nila. Sabaw ba 'yan?
However, I can't help but to hate the fact that he prepared food for this fool but not for me? Her master?
Am I joke to her?
Ang pinagkaiba lang, sa akin ay mumurahin, sa kanya ay hindi.
"You prepared food for him but didn't think of preparing me one, huh?" I asked sarcastically.
Napanganga na lang siya.
I don't know why. May nasabi ba akong mali? I'm sure I haven't say anything wrong. Siya nga itong maling-mali ang ginawa eh.
"Whatever. Don't bother making me one." I can't stand this embarrassment I'm feeling.
Mukha akong batang nagcra-crave ng attention. 'Yon bang nagtatampo kasi hindi ginawan ng pagkain kahit kumakain ang kapatid niya.
Well, I shouldn't be stressing myself over some cheap food. Maraming nagbibigay sa'kin ng atensiyon, ayaw ko nga lang.
"Make sure you'll follow the schedule tomorrow. Don't bring your stupidity tomorrow," I reminded her as I turned my precious back on her.
Gusto kong ipakita sa kanya ang brand ng damit ko na kahit kailan ay hindi niya maaafford. For me, this is cheap but for her, this is surely a fortune.
"Aalis ka na?" tanong ni Clint.
"Tayo, Clint. Aalis na tayo," I corrected him and took the lead.
And Clint being his foolish self, followed laughingly. 'Di ko alam kung bakit laging nakangisi at nakatawa 'tong taong 'to. What's to smile about anyway?
"See you tomorrow, baby girl!" He said loudly and that cut my thoughts.
I stopped in the middle of the hallway. Nasa likuran ko lang siya kaya nauntog siya sa likod ko.
"What the heck, Silver!" He cursed while laughing as if bumping to me tickled him. "Ano bang problema mo uyy?" He even poked my sides when he noticed me being stern.
"Can you quit that?" I asked with a baritone.
"Ay sorry naman!" He pulled his finger back to him. "Ang seryoso mo palagi eh. Kinikiliti ka lang naman."
"What's not to be serious about? Palibhasa lahat sa'yo biro," I fired back.
He's disturbingly quiet so I faced him. When our eyes met, his was twitching. I scanned his whole face at it's on a poker face. His eyes kept on twitching while the rest of his face remained unmoved.
This sucker looks like a damn psychopath.
"Hoy ang pangit mo," masungit kong sabi sa kanya.
However, nothing changed in his appearance.
Kahit pa lagi akong naiirita kay Clint ay naroon pa rin naman ang pagmamalasakit ko sa kanya dahil ilang taon din naman niya akong sinasamahan kahit ayaw ko. So, I went near him to harshly pinch his cheek in hopes that he'll quit this stupidity but my hand didn't even touch his skin.
His hand tightly clutched my arm in mid air while his eye remained twitching.
Mukhang gago eh.
"Let go of me," I commanded him with firm voice.
Pero gano'n pa rin ang hitsura ng gago.
I'm getting impatient here.
"What's the matter with - "
"Boo!"
"Aaah!" I yelled and it was followed by a series of his annoying laughter.
Naalarma pa ang mga Pebble na natutulog dahil sa sigaw ko at isa-isa silang nagsilabasan. Pati ang Pebble ko.
Pebble ko...
Shit! Cringe!
Lalo lang akong nag-cringe nang magtama ang mga mata namin. However, our stares didn't last that long because her eyes shifted to Clint who's laughing his ass out.
He's already slumped on the dirty floor as ge clutches his stomach. Naluluha pa ang gago sa katatawa.
Ang engot naman na Pebble ko ay lumapit pa sa kanya para tanungin kung anong nangyari. Isn't it obvious that he can't speak because he's too busy laughing? Why don't she ask me?
Ako ang naargrabyado rito. Ako ang naapi. Tapos siya ang nilapitan.
Ang dami-daming nagtatanong sa akin kung ayos lang ba ako pero ni isa sa kanila ay wala akong pinansin and guess what? Itong babaeng 'to, lumabas ng kwarto niya para lapitan ang lalaking tawang-tawa para tanungin kung anong nangyari imbes na unahin ang Diamond niya.
Tables have turned when I felt my eye twitching. Naiinis ako. Naiirita ako. Hindi ko maintindihan 'tong nararamdaman ko!
I need to breathe.
I turned my back from them and Clint immediately spoke.
"Hey Silver! Saan ka pupunta? I was just joking..." He tried to grab my arm but I moved quickly.
"Don't touch me," I said with a dead serious tone.
"Nagsusungit ka na naman. I was just - "
"Joking?" Inunahan ko na siya. "Of course you are. You always are."
Everyone got to taste the awkward silence that reigned.
"I would always joke around but believe me or not, I can be serious too. In fact, I have the reason to start a serious perspective. Nakita ko na ang seseryosohin ko," he explained.
Hindi ko alam kung bakit uminit kaagad ang ulo ko kaya agad ko siyang sinunggaban. Kwinelyuhan ko siya sabay titig nang mariin.
I heard gasps from these damn Pebbles but I couldn't care less.
"Mr. Fulgencio..." Bulong niya sa gilid ko habang hawak-hawak ang braso ko.
Hindi ko maipagkakailang may kung ano sa hawak niya na nakapagpapakalma ng sistema ko pero hindi ko ipinahalata 'yon. Pinanindigan ko ang galit ko.
Clint, whom I'm giving a deadly stare, instead of getting scared is actually starting to smirk.
"This is impressive," he commented.
"I'm always impressive," I said as a matter of fact.
"Uhuh." He sounds doubtful. "This is your first time reacting this way over my targets. Wala ka namang pakielam sa mga binababae ko pero bakit ngayon parang may ipinagdadamot ka?"
His words gave me realization.
Oo nga.
Ano bang ikinakaganito ko?
So, I let go of his collar and immediately stormed out of the building.
That's a lot of first times today.
