Hi, it's been fifteen years after my family's accident happened and mommy is now aging. I've been studying Junior High School now and after the incident happened, me and mom forget the past and lived our lives to the fullest. Well, being a high school student is not that bad after all. I've met a lot of wonderful people and learned a lot from them. I've also learned how to manage myself and how to keep my guard down to people. 
I've been bullied few times because of my family's background and about what happened fifteen years ago. Those real facts that I hoped wasn't real kept hunting me while facing my future. Let's say, it's a new chapter of my life as "Sofia's daughter". I've been trying my very best not to disappoint my mom and my family because I don't want to be a burden to them. 
As I grew up, I became wise and extra careful because I learned a lot and made a lot of mistakes, and I didn't want to make those mistakes happen again. But my high school life is not that boring because, amidst thousands of doubts, there is someone with whom I can share my secrets.
I remember vividly my first day in school here at Melchore High School. I was very excited to see my classmates' faces and could not wait to bond with them and create a lot of memories with them.
I wore a white dress and a pair of white shoes, as well as a pair of new white socks. I tangled my hair and did the braid style because I have curly hair that covers my entire face when it gets dry. Well, I braided it left and right, tangled it together, and put a long hairclip with ribbon on it so that it looked presentable.
I hurriedly went downstairs to eat my breakfast and to prepare some lunch food because the food in our cafeteria isn't my type. My mom went to work early in the morning, and I was left alone in the house while my mom's best friend was also at work.
After I ate the breakfast that my mom prepared for me, I locked the door and went to school, for I was going to be late already. When I reached the school's entrance, there I saw our guard on duty, always checking our bags, IDs, and white clothes because we're not required to wear uniforms, so we can wear different clothes every day if we want to.
"Good morning, guard!" I exclaimed excitedly while opening my bag so that the guard could check it easily.
"Where is your ID? the Manong guard asked me because I forgot to wear my ID because I was rushing earlier!
"Oh, here. I'm going to wear it. Thanks and have a nice day!" I went directly into my room, and I saw three of my classmates sitting there and waiting for our Class President because he has the key to our room.
Melchore High is not a private school, and it's fun to be here as one of their students. Well, my family can afford private schools, but it's just me who wants to finish junior high and senior high school in a public school because I don't want to waste my family's money.
After ten minutes of waiting, he's finally here. They hurriedly opened the door, and then we cleaned it first, for there was dust everywhere. Our chairs are too high for a 5-foot student like me because it's a laboratory room and we use the laboratory chairs, which are pretty high.
Class started as always with the introduction of yourself and our different professors from different subjects. Since I am taking the STEM strand not because I want to become an engineer, it's mainly because I love solving problems involving numbers and using critical thinking skills.
Our first subject was Practical Research I, and our professor is not that strict. She is gorgeous and extremely good at her job. She's also very energetic, and positive vibes are all over her face. After I introduced myself, it was time for the rules and regulations as well as the requirements in her subject.
It's a new beginning in my life, and I can't wait to tell mom how happy I am on my first day of school. My class went well, and since I made food for lunch, I even forgot that my class is only half day, so I decided to eat my bacon during our recess period.
I have a lot of friends in school, and I get to know them now because we see each other every day. Out of eight subjects, I handle five, and my role is their group leader.
Leadership is now one of my biggest responsibilities, and Zzit helps me embrace and get to know myself better, which includes my strengths and weaknesses.
