Capitulo 9

SIGHING, Hussey got off the motorcycle.
She just stood in front of Aeschylus’ house, having a second thoughts if she’ll go there to apologize from what happened in the school or just get her ass out of there and forget about it.
But there’s no way she’ll forget about it.
The young man never spoke to her again after. Instead of continuing their recollection—Hussey, Eiassey, Aeschylus, and the four idiots are advised to go home after the fight.
Nothing happened to the three of them actually, because of the twins’ parents’ connections they made the four students kicked out from the school and the stupid teacher was fired because of Emmanuelle and Astennu.
Hussey just let her body relaxed on her motorcycle until an arrival of someone made her attention shifted to the direction of the person.
This person was wearing a leather jacket—which really perfectly fitted her like she owned the style of every leather jacket—with blouse inside paired with wide leg denim and black three-inch block-heel square-toed. She’s breathtaking gorgeous woman, her neck-length hair with soft waves—she looked really young.
Probably same age with her mother, Emmanuelle. If not, maybe older, in mid-thirties to be exact.
The two of them shared the same confused look.
“I’m sorry! I’m guessing you’re Mrs. Nase, I’m a self-proclaimed friend of Aeschylus and I thought to show up here to apologize to him since I made him upset earlier at the school. Please let me speak to him, if it’s okay with you,” she explained, bowing to her deeply and eyes are squeezed shot.
The woman patted her head that made her look up to her. “You’re Hussey, right?”
Her pupils dilated. “You already know me?”
She laughed before puffing a smoke from her cigarette. “Yes, my son often talks about you whenever I got home. He said you’re the reason why he got motivated going to school. That kid of mine skipped school when he’s getting lazy… Reason why he’s two times repeater.”
No, it’s because he hates people in school… So she seriously had no idea what’s happening to him?
Leaning, the lady whispered to her ear. “Also, I think he has a crush on you…” Blood rushed up her face after what she stated to her.
“Y-You think?!” she questioned, shocked.
“Come on inside. He’ll be happy to see you.” Mrs. Nase dragged her inside of their house. “Aeskie! Look who’s here!”
No one answered so the two of them began to go upstairs where his room located, there was no time for her to refuse or look around as his mother was fast to drag her.
“Aeskie! Are you asleep?” Hussey and Mrs. Nase looked at each other when they heard some grunts inside. “I’m opening the door now—oops, he’s indeed asleep. . . .”
Feeling uneasy, Hussey turned to the woman. “Maybe I should come some other time, Mrs. Nase.”
“Nah, go to him. You waited outside for so long and I don’t want your effort go to waste.” She began to head downstairs. “I’ll be just in the kitchen cooking. You can stay for dinner if you want, dear.”
“B-But!” She didn’t get a chance to say anything, his mother was incredibly out of sight after some seconds.
Is it really okay to go inside of his room?
Shaking her head, she just brought her feet to start heading inside. Careful to not create any noise as he was sound asleep.
When she reached the edge of his bed, she traced his features that was peacefully in slumber using her orbs.
Since her legs are getting weary from how long she stood since outside of their house, Hussey sat beside him—close to his head.
Her fingers slid in the softness of his hair in the end, Aeschylus leaned more to her touch just to have a better access from her comforting touch.
Using her elbow to support her body, she ran her fingers more to his locks.
“I wish your mother was telling the truth…”
She gently swayed her feet that was not on his bed as she intently stared at his soft features as if she was remembering every details of it.
Hussey inched forward to his forehead to give him light kisses which he snuggled to her more.
A smirk crept on her lips, is he awake or something? Or must be a good dream? A smile was evident on his lips as she peppered him with kisses on the forehead.
The young woman can get a whiff of his rosewood scent, whenever they’re together he mostly smelled like vanilla but at the moment he’s giving off a strong smell of earthly rosewood.
Since she was enjoying what she was doing, she kept kissing him until she caught a briefed of sight on the part where his bangs were covering half of his face.
Hussey brushed off his hair away from his face to look at him thoroughly, eyes blazed with fury at the sight.
Her fist clenched while tracing his forehead with her thumb tenderly. “Where are these cigarette marks came from?”
She stared to nowhere to use up some time to think.
Her body tensed up when she remembered something from earlier.
Did his mother do these to him?
“Hussey? W-What…”
The lassie perked up and gave a good distance between them when he started waking up. “Sorry! I met your mother outside of your house and she dragged me here when you’re still asleep. Did I wake you up?”
Aeschylus looked away from her, am I still look adorable in her eyes? I just woke up… I might be looking like a trash to her, he shut his eyes tightly.
“Sky… Earlier at the school. I’m really sorry, are we okay? You didn’t talk to me after that…”
Felt like her heart shattered into tiny pieces when he little by little moved away from her, does he hate me that much?
Her shoulders sagged then began to stood up. “I’m really sorry, Sky. Maybe I should leave—”
“Wait!” Before she could get out of his bed, Aeschylus snatched her hand that made her bounced on his bed back. “Stay, I was just surprise to see you here. . . .”
Hussey averted her eyes. “You were slowly turning away from me . . . I think you hate me now.”
The young man shrank back to the mattress. “I was just worried how I look and s-smell since I just woke up,” he confessed with his faint tone.
She blinked at him for a good ten seconds only to made him fall uneasy. “Sky! You look so sexy in my eyes!” she blurted out that left him stunned.
“I what?”
“You’re such a daddy in my eyes and at the same time a baby to me and let’s not start with how you smell because you’re just too good with your rosewood scent right now! Though you always smell like vanilla but nonetheless, you’re just a perfection in my eyes!” Hussey revealed without thinking about what she just exposed.
He flinched at how fast she spat that out, is she always this blunt…
“Hussey…” His face was sizzling hot, he shrank on his bed while using the hem of his shirt to hide his fluttered face. “W-Why are you doing this to me…”
Squinting, she leaned on him and he was startled on his place because of their closeness. “What am I doing to you?” it almost sounded like a hum for him, she was definitely playing with him.
“Hussey…” he whined, shutting closed his eyes.
The woman giggled before backing away. “I have to ask you something, Sky. This may sound like I’m prying but my conscience won’t let me be at ease if I won’t tell you…”
“What is it?” he asked after recovering from his heated face.
“I accidentally saw your—”
“Sorry for the interruption kids! Dinner is ready.” Her nostrils flared after his mother chimed in on them.
Both of them followed the woman while Hussey secretly got irritated because she noticed Aeschylus kept glancing at his mother’s cigarette between her fingers.
As they sat on their seats, Aeschylus reminded his mother. “Mom, I told you to quit smoking…” He looked away and started to eat.
Hussey shifted her eyes at the guy beside him.
“Oh, sorry, Aeskie. Sometimes I forgot to tell myself to stop buying one.” She turned off the fire that was eating up the cigarette before throwing it away.
The three of them began to eat silently, while Hussey kept swinging her eyes back and forth to them.
“Aeskie, when are you going to court her—” Hussey choked on her food reason why the woman quickly handed her a glass of water.
“M-Mom please don’t start. . . .”
Rubbing her back to ease the lump in her throat, she apologized, “Sorry, dear. I didn’t know you would react that way.”
The lassie just told her that she was okay until going back to eating their food.
She secretly cursed herself for choking from that statement. She knows she’s better than that and she doesn’t mind that sort of thing but why when it comes to Aeschylus she’s feeling scatterbrained?
But oh well, these things must go on. It’s not that she’s not enjoying it—it’s just causing her off guard.
For the entire time in the dining table, Hussey just studied the mother and the son.
Seemed like there wasn’t something going on to their relationship as mother and son, they even looked so extremely close.
But it kept her wondering why his mother doesn’t know what’s happening to his son in school.
Hussey scrutinized the two that are the only ones filling the noise inside of the dining room, as much as possible she would brush them off without them noticing whenever she was being brought up to the conversation.
Mrs. Nase seems like she wouldn’t abuse her child, right? That left her mind as she finished eating.
