It's been a week and Carl hadn't seen Dylan. She called Naomi to tell her that she won't be at work as she is sick.
"I called to let you know that I won't be present as I am not feeling well. I will get back to you whenever I get better." She said and ended the call.
She was actually worried for the past few days as she thought of seeing Dylan with a lady. She had always called his number but he hadn't replied any of her calls and this made her worried.
Immediately after dropping her the call, she laid her head on her pillow in other to rest for some minutes.
Kamela walked into her room with a bowl of hot drink then walked to take her sit beside Carl.
She held up Carl's hand in order to check her temperature.
"Miss, you should get to relax." Kamela said getting up but Carl held her hand.
"I need to know something from you since you hear from Jesus." Carl said Kamela sat back.
"Yes Miss, what do you like to know?" Kamela asked.
"Am I ever going to fall in love again?" Carl asked and Kamela takes a deep breath.
"All I can let you know is that you still love him." Kamela said and got up.
She drew the bowl close and then sat on Carl's bed.
"I would suggest your parent come here to be with you till you get better." Kamela said and Carl sat up.
"Has the medicine been mixed with this?" She asked.
"Yes Miss., it has." Kamela said and Carl began to drink it using a cup to take it.
Her phone began to ring and Kamela picked it.
"Who is it?" Csrl asked.
"It's Dylan." Kamela said.
Carl looked at it and shook her head.
"Who is that, Miss." Kamela asked.
"The reason for my worry." Carl said and Kamela began to laugh.
"The more reason you should answer it." Kamela said.
"Alright." Carl said answering the call.
"Hello Carl." Dylan said but she didn't respond.
"I know you can hear but I just want us to go on a date together." He said and Carl felt happy.
"I know you had seen me with my sister but I will like to see you alone. Let's make it a dinner date by 5pm tonight." Dylan said. "I hope you will be there?"
"Yes I will." Carl said.
"Alright I have to go." Dylan said and ended the call.
Carl looked at Kamela smiling.
"He wants a date with me." She said smiling.
Kamela looked at Carl and also smiled.
"I am going to ask him his reason for leaving me like that." Carl said but Kamela shook her head.
"No Miss, you aren't officially dating." Kamela said and Carl looked at her.
"Alright." She said nodding.

Dylan looked at Josh after dropping the call.
"You actually did it. Do let her know that you love her." Josh said.
Dylan looked at his friend smiling. He had a different thing entirely on his mind. He was going to let her know that he can't go on a date with her ever again.
"I can't get her off my mind. I think I have to stop going on dates with her." He thought.
He looked at Josh smiling.
He had to call Nadosh his sister in other to convince her to go on a date with him.
He was yet to send her the location for the date.
He thought for a while then came up with an idea.
" A park? " He said.
"For what?" Josh asked.
"The date." He said.
"Really!" Josh said.
"Yes or where else?" Dylan asked.
Josh laughed and looked at Dylan.
"It's going to be romantic." Josh said. "I wonder when you became romantic."
Dylan smiled looking at his friend.
"If only you know what I want to do, you will not agree with me." He thinks.
His plan is to make Carl pay for the date and making her hate him. He wasn't ready for love. He had promised himself ever since his mother left his father not to fall in love.
The thought of how dejected Carl would feel made him consider changing his mind but he thought against it.
"I can't allow this feeling." He said to himself.
He turned to look at Josh and smiled.
Nadosh walked into the office and walked to Dylan's table.
"What is up with you?" Dylan asked.
"Come with me." She said with an innocent voice.
Dylan looked at Josh who smiled.
"Alright, let's go." Dylan said getting up.
He walked out of the office with Nadosh thinking she wants to take him to their mother's office but she took him to a room.
Entering the room, he noticed everywhere was dark.
"Why are we here?" He asked but no response.
Suddenly he was pushed and fell on something soft.
He remembered his dream of Nadosh seducing him and immediately got up.
He rushed looking for the door but couldn't see it as his eyes were not used to the darkness of the room.
"Run but you won't see the door. If you get to it, you can never reach it." He heard Nadosh voice say.
Sweats broke through his face and he tried calling for help but thought against it.
"I can't do that with you." He said.
Nadosh began to laugh.
"You are my sister." He said.
"Your stepsister." Nadosh said.
"I can't do that to you." He said.
"What! Do you know about what I want to do?" She asked and he shook his head.
"You need to be nice." He said and she was about to speak.
The door flew open and Dylan ran out.
Some of his office mates were with him. They immediately left to the office before Nadosh could come out.
Dylan thanked them and Josh smiled.
"I knew something was off with the way she twisted her waist while talking to you." Josh said and Dylan looked at him very happy.
"Thank you." Dylan said.
"So we decided to follow behind to know what she is up to." Another person said.
"We waited there long but didn't hear..." The person was saying but hearing Nadosh footstep, they dispersed.
Nadosh opened the office door and walked right to Dylan.
"I am going to let my mom relieve you of your duty." Nadosh said and Dylan smiled.
Nadosh turned to the rest of them.
"Also you all." She said and left to her mother's office.
They all laughed seeing her leave.
"I can't be relieved of my job since I got this job through the ministry." Josh said. "I have two months more."
Five more people said same thing after which they all looked at Josh.
"I have an order gotten from the court which says I can leave whenever I want." He said and they all clapped.
Others said that they worked for agencies and weren't bordered.
Hours later, Dylan left with Josh and they spoke together while going to the field.
They all played well and their team got into the championship and they were excited.
"No one plays better than you." Dylan said to Josh after their cricket match.
"You also play good." Josh said.

5pm same day,
Dylan had texted Carl the location they were to have their date and they sat together with Joel watching them from afar.
"I don't have anything on me." Dylan said and Carl smiled.
"It's alright." She said. "I should get the bill paid."
She paid for their meal and Dylan looked at Carl.
"Carl, I need to tell you something." Dylan said and Carl blushed.
"What is that?" She asked.
"You've been a great friend to me and I will like to tell you this." He said.
"Yes." She said.
Dylan looked at her fearing what he was about to tell her to hurt her deeply.
"I know she is going to be hurt but I need to let her know." He thought to himself then got up.
"Carl, I want you to know that we can not go on a date ever again." He said to Carl leaving her.
Carl watched him leave, she felt sad and ran into her car.
Getting into her car, she zoomed off without waiting for Joel to follow behind.
