They came back last night at past midnight. Atreus drive them to her condo and also went to his own after.
Rue woke up early in the morning to prepare herself a blood, because of her tremendous tolerance of alcohol, she didn't have a hangover from last night.
While Althea is still sleeping peacefully with her bed.
Her blood bags are hidden from every layer below the freezer of her customized refrigerator, every layer is detachable so she can easily get it. The storage at the back is like a withdrawable box.
She's at the kitchen's table, with her glass of blood. After she finished 4 bags of blood, she discards it into a black plastic bag and put it on a trashcan. Then she decided to cook for breakfast since her friend is here.
She fried sunny side up eggs, bacons and ham with toasted bread. She also boiled a water for a coffee.
While she's waiting the water to boil, she suddenly remembered the scenario in dance floor last night at the club. The tall man and his intimidating aura pictured on her mind, also his manly scent.
'Is he the one with a strong presence I felt last night?' She suddenly questioned on her mind. She remembered having a feeling of a strong aura last night before the encounter.
'But he seems to be a human.' She contradicted to her thoughts.
"Hmm! smells good!" A voice suddenly echoed at the kitchen.
She just shook her head and rolled her eyes. Althea is already awake, entering the kitchen.
"Good morning." She greeted without looking at her, already filtering the coffee.
"Good morning. Seems like you're in a good today." Althea commented, smiling with her eyes while looking at the prepared foods at the table. And she took her sit.
"Don't start with me." She replied. She took the filtered coffee and put it on the table, beside the sugar and cream.
She took a sit in front of her.
Althea puts a coffee on her cup and smells its scent. "This is refreshing for a hangover! I woke up because of the delicious smell of food and coffee." She giggled. Then puts a bread on her own plate and layered it with egg and bacon.
"You're welcome." she just uttered, putting a butter on her bread.
Althea looked at her with a smile on her lips. "Thank you for the food!" she salutes her hand at her then mixed her coffee with sugar and cream.
Rue just rolled her eyes and chuckled, taking a bite on her bread.
Althea chuckled with her usual reaction. And they eat silently.
She then again falls into a thought. She had fun last night, somehow forgot the incident but she still needs some time to unwind. She's still in the phase of moving on. At the end, she has to face her emotions.
"What are you thinking?" Althea speaks when she noticed her friend zoning out. Eating a new piece of bread.
"Planning to have some fresh air." She simply replied. She's planning to spend her vacation with refreshing environment.
Althea's face brightens and excitement on her eyes. "To the beach?" She blurted. Already know what she's thinking.
She just nodded to her, agreeing to her statement.
Althea clapped her hand in joy and a smile wider on her lips. "I'll get my stuff after I finished this." She said in excitement and hurriedly eat her food.
She chuckled with her reaction. "We're not out of time. I'll fetch you before lunch." She commented.
"How about Atreus?" Althea asked, sipping on her coffee.
She doesn't have any idea what's going on between them, she's busy partying last night and just saw her drunk in the table where she last saw Atreus before going to the dance floor.
"You two are in a good term already?" she commented suspiciously, teasing her with a smirk.
Althea immediately waved her hand in disagreement. "O-ofcourse we're goodㅡ like friends, not in a romantic way." She managed to laugh nervously.
She also thought that the two can possibly get along because they're her both friends. "I'll just text him the location" she said. She didn't bother to ask what happened last night, she might not remember it or she'll just wait her to tell her.
Althea nodded.
After they eat, she washed the dishes and told Althea to get her stuff instead of waiting for her to finish. When she finished washing the dishes, she went to her room to get some clothes and some stuff to use at the beach. She also texted Atreus the location of the beach and come with them.
It's 11am already when she finished packing her things into her luggage, she changed her clothes to a see-through white dress with black bikini inside. She wears her necklace and also bring a sunglass.
When she reached the parking lot, she put her luggage at the back of her car and get inside to drive. She texted Althea's number to notify her before driving her car to her house's destination.
When she arrived at her house, she's already standing outside with her luggage beside her. As she parked her car near her, Althea put the luggage at the back of her car.
"I'm hungry already." Althea blurted when she entered the car, sitting beside her.
"Let's just eat while on the way." She remarked and drive her car.
Althea pouted her lips and nodded like a baby. While they're on their way, they saw a fast food and make drive thru order. They ordered sandwich, nuggets and chicken with drinks.
They started eating their food while on the way to the beach resort.
After 2 hours of driving, they arrived at their destination. She gets her phone and when they got out of car, a cold and refreshing air immediately touches their skin.
"At last!" Althea shouted, her hands up in the air and jumping in happiness. They can clearly see the beach from their spot.
Rue just chuckled and shook her head. She went at the back of her car to get the luggage's. After she puts them down, she got a text message from Atreus, he's on the way to the beach. She didn't bother to reply.
"Let's go find a room." She announced, and walk pass her. Althea smiled and followed her.
