Clifford turned only to see Nichole. She advanced amorously towards him kissing and teasing him.
"Let me help you with this beer," she said to him
Clifford couldn't resist her advances anymore. He pushed her on the bed smooching and making out with her for a while. Just when things were getting so intense, he suddenly stopped.
"No, I can't do this." he stood up, took his clothes and left the house.
Nichole sat on the bed feeling happy and satisfied. "Poor boy," she smirked, dressed up, and went to remove the camera she set in the room and left the house.
Clifford drove off to a quiet place and packed his car. He sat in his car feeling down and regretting his actions.
"aaaahh..." he cried and banged his hand on the steering wheel.
"I'm so sorry Rosita." he cried
He cried for a while and drove off to a private club. He returned home drunk, feeling disgusting of himself. He sat regretting his actions and drifted off to sleep. He woke up the next day with a bad hangover and missing his wife.
"Where are you Rosita," he said to himself
HOLLANDS' MANSION
Nichole took her laptop, edited the video, blurred her face, and used a different number to send it to Mad. Flora and the rest of the family except Clifford.
"All...done..!" she clasped her arms and fell happily on the bed in satisfaction
Mad. Flora was busy with some documents when she heard a ring on her phone. She checked and it was a video file. She opened it and was shocked by what she saw.
"What...!" she screamed
CLIFFORD'S APARTMENT
Clifford was lying on the bed lost in thoughts about the incident that occurred between Nichole and him. He heard a ring on the door and went to check. It was Lian, he opened the door
"Oh, Lian..." Lian pushed him over furiously and walked in.
"What's the meaning of this Cliff," he asked furiously showing him the video
"What's not what you think Lian." he closed the door and walked to Lian
"Then what is it Cliff? Tell me," he asked furiously
"It's....." he was interrupted by a ring from his phone. He checked and it was from his Mum.
"Hello mum..." he answered
"Come home immediately." his mother replied furiously and hung up
Lian looked at him disappointedly
"What were you thinking Cliff? Didn't you even consider your wife? She has gone damn missing for weeks now Cliff." he said furiously
" Enough.....Lian!" He took his car keys and they both left to their mum's mansion.
HOLLANDS' MANSION
Clifford packed the car and they both went in to meet their mum. They got to the hall to meet the entire family. Mad. Flora got furious about seeing his son. " What is this Cliff." She asked furiously landing a heavy slap on his face.
"What were you thinking?! Rosita and your unborn child have gone missen and this is what you are doing? Huh....tell me.." she asked with tears in her eyes.
Nicholas and Houston held their mum down to calm her. "Calm down mum." they both said.
Clifford looked at Nichole sternly with hatred and rushed out. Lian rushed out after him
"I will handle him mum" he assured and left
Nichole smirked enjoying the whole scenario. "This is just the beginning Cliff," she said to herself
THE GOONS HIDEOUT
Rosita has refused to take in any food. She looked so pale and weak. She keeps crying and pleading with the lord of the goons to let her go.
"Please let me go... I will give you anything you want." she cried
The Lord of the goons got so furiously with her continuous cry and plead and walked up to her.
"Shut up...." he shouted and slapped her
"Do you think your husband still loves you nor thinks of you? he asked
" Yes he does..." she cried
"huh....you did so," he said laughing
" Then take a closer look at this!" he shouted, showing her the video.
Rosita looked at the video and was shocked by what she saw. She broke down crying profoundly.
Clifford furiously drove out of the house with Lian. He was more determined and burnt on finding his wife now than ever. They drove in a long silence. As they passed the Kiddie's boutique, he noticed his wife's car parked there.
"Isn't that Rosie's car?" he asked Lian, pointing to the direction where the car was parked
"I think it is Cliff, pull over and let's go have a look."
"Okay, Lian," he answered.
Clifford found a spot to park his car well and they both rushed out of the car to the shop. They pulled the door open and the receptionist welcomed them with a smile.
"Good morning sir, welcome to Kiddie's Care. How may I assist you," she asked
"Hello..." they both replied
" I want to enquire who that car is for," Clifford asked pointing to the car
"It's for a lady who came shopping here some few weeks back. I don't know what happened but she left the car here and we've not heard from her since," she replied.
"May I see her details?" Clifford asked
The receptionist took out the records book for customers and gave it to Clifford. He checked and the car was indeed for Rosita.
" She is my wife. She has gone missen for weeks now and we are trying to find her," said Clifford to the receptionist giving back the book to her.
"How may I help, sir?" she asked
" We just have a few questions to ask."
" Sure, go ahead," she replied
" Did she come with anyone on that day?" he asked
" Yes....., she came with a blonde lady her age who kept looking into her phone and quickly rushed out," she answered giving more descriptive details about the lady
"Isn't that Nichole?" Lian asked surprised "
" Please can I see the security footage in the garage that day," Clifford asked
"Sure....." she answered
She took them to the security control room asked the security personnel to assist them and left.
" How may I help you sir?" the man asked
"We want to see the security footage in the garage for the last three weeks," Lian answered
"Sure sir" he replied.
The security personnel opened a folder displayed on the desktop and selected a file. The file led them to a video and the man played it. Clifford and Lian were shocked by what they saw.
" She was kidnapped!?" They asked shocked
Clifford got so furiously and rushed out.
"Thank you, sir," Lian said to the man with a pat on the shoulder and rushed out after Clifford.
"Cliff....., Cliff..." he called after him
Lian came out and met him in his wife's. He took out the camcorder,
" Let's go, Lian," he asked and left to his car with Lian following after. They sat in the car and started.
" Calm down Cliff, we now know who the suspect is. We just have to handle things more carefully and cautiously. We will find her." said Lian to Clifford
"You believe me now?" he asked
" Sorry bro, there was no evidence and Nichole wasn't someone you can think that of," he replied
"Now you know," Clifford answered
They continued the rest of the journey in silence thinking of how to reveal Nichole's true identity.
SECURITY INVESTIGATION CENTER
An hour later, Clifford pulled up in front of the security investigation center. They went in and gave the camcorder to one of the personnel to open the video for them to clear their doubts. The man went in with them and checked the files on the camcorder. He opened the video and found the answer he wanted.
"So Nichole was really with Rosita that day?" Lian asked.
"Yes Lian and I know she is responsible for her kidnapped and this scandal," he replied with contempt.
THE GOONS HIDEOUT
Rosita was broken by the video she saw. She was speechless and had lots of questions on her mind that she needed answers to. She felt helpless.
" Why did you do this to me, Cliff? I thought you loved me." she cried
THE HOLLANDS' MANSION
The whole Hollands family is thrown into chaos and confusion because of Clifford's video. They sat in the hall in silence, confused and disappointed. Nichole, seeing how distracted the family was, sneaked out of the house. Clifford and Lian had gone to a car rental shop and rented a new car to tail Nichole to find where she was hiding Rosita. They packed outside the house in waited for Nichole, just then, they saw her sneaking out of the into a cab. Lian noticed her and alerted Clifford.
"Isn't that Nichole? Where is she going and why is she not using her car." Lian asked
"We will find that out soon," Clifford replied
