Chapter 14 TRUST ME

Blue stood before her lengthy mirror dressed in a pale nude top on jean shorts. She looked back at her reflection as she thought hard of her next line of action. A tap sounded on her window, she looked towards it sharply. No one was there. Then, she realized that someone was throwing granite stones at her window.
Who the hell was that?
She moved towards it to take a peek. She pushed back the blinds, opened the window and puked her head out. Someone was down waving up at her. She squinted her eyes to get a better view, her heart jumped into her mouth.
What the actual fuck? What was he doing here?
He took the railing, climbed and jumped into the balcony. He wore a grey top on a black trousers. Her hair was damped from sweats. Yet, he was breathtaking in the casual clothes that he wore. She glanced behind her to be certain that her aunt wasn't in the room.
"I'm so sorry to be a bother." He said as a leg of his crossed over to her room.
"Jason, you are not supposed to be here." She mouthed.
"Where is your aunt? I'm sure she can't hear you." He smiled at her.
Her heart jumped excitedly. Why was he torturing her this way? As if his presence in school was not enough. Why make her suffer with the sight of him?
"What are you doing here?" She shut the blinders, rushed over to the door and locked it. She looked down at herself quickly wondering if she looked awkward in her clothes.
"How did you get to know my house?" She added.
He shrugged. "How can I not? I know everything about you, Blue. Not specifically from my brother alone. I had to do my research."
She couldn't find the right words to those words of his. Instead, goosebumps greeted her skin. She suddenly felt cold chills running down her spine. Jason did some research about her. Jason knew everything about her. The thoughts were blowing up her mind.
"I can't possibly give you such an advice and not help you with it." He turned to look around her room.
Who would have thought! A whole Jason was in her room, right now! Her head screamed. What did he possibly want to help her with?
"Do you have an idea of what I am to do?" She asked him.
He shrugged. "Cut your hair, get a wig. I can help with anything."
She paused, speechless. She didn't tell anyone that, not even Freya. How the hell did he get to read her mind.
"How did you....,"
"Care to join me? Let me help you. I know one good hair stylist." He smiled at her as he turned back to the window.
She grabbed his arm. Her hand burned at the touch. She jerked her hand back while he looked back to meet her gaze. The silence between them stretched. Their heartbeats thugged at their rib cages.
"You do not like the idea?" Jason found his voice.
"I... I welcome it." She swallowed, watching the distance suddenly created between them.
"We have to leave now. So, you'll be home before 9. Your aunt will soon come knocking." He said.
Blue moved backwards, startled at his words. Do Jason stalk her? That he knows at what time her aunt comes to check on her.
"How did you know that?" She asked him.
He breathed in deeply. Turned to observe her closely. "I know that this is bit of a shock to you. That I am of a shock to you. But believe me, I meant no ill and I mean none right now. I only want to help you out. Trust me." He begged.
She swallowed again, unconvinced by his words. "How can I trust you? After all those awful things you have done to me?" She made sure that she avoided her contact with him.
"Allow me to make amends. I will make it up to you, I promise." He pleaded, outstretched a hands towards her.
She looked down at it carefully, studied it for a while before answering him. "Let me get changed into a proper dress then."
He grinned widely that her heart beat burst from excitement.
"I'll be waiting outside." He told her before he jumped out of her window.
*******
He took her to a special hair stylist who was great at cutting hair. The stylist, Donald, was an older good friend to Jason. He trimmed down Blue's hair to a boy's standard style. Next, he got her an exact wig that looked exactly like her previous hair.
"Don't feel bad that you cut your hair, it is for the best I'm sure. You look great though." Donald winked at Blue from the mirror as he cut down her hair.
"I will miss it." Blue said sadly, watching Jason from the mirror. He was looking down at a magazine, not even at her.
He brought her here, why was he not looking directly at her?
"Twill grow itself out. Believe me, I made one gorgeous wig similar to your previous hair." He continued.
Once he was done trimming her hair, he brought out the wig and showed it to her. She wore it, laughed at her reflection. No one would have second guessed that she was wearing a wig.
"Are we done here, Donald?" Jason asked, glancing at his Rolex, golden wristwatch.
"Why are you in a hurry. We have all the time in the world." Donald slurred.
Blue laughed at that, Donald was traditionally gay but Jason liked him still. He does his work effortlessly despite the fact that he was doing the work of a lady.
"Donald, we can't stall any longer. Time is not on our side." He reached out and dropped some bills into Donald's hand, grabbed Blue's hand lovingly as they walked out of Donald's shop.
Blue's heart jumped and danced for the umpteenth time as he led them to a car which had brought them to Donald's shop.
