24: You're Not

Naiah's POV
"Why do you need our DNA?" A asked, she's smiling yet I know, she's furious inside. Implanting their DNA on my data system means I can access their true identity and such. Brilliant, isn't it?
I smiled at A, "Your DNA means a lot, that I know of, but..." I trailed off.
"I'm just being careful, and the fact that you are here at my territory, you can't just question all of my decisions. Pretty strict, right?" I lifted an eyebrow as I asked them.
"Now, if you plan to leave, better yet, deal with them," I said as I glanced at their back. They turn around and as soon as they see a hundred men in tuxedos lining up in ten carryings a sword at their back, they gasped as they uttered curses under their breaths. Some are carrying a gun, hanging at their shoulder.
They looked at me. A, holding herself not to burst, she gritted her teeth and glared at me. Black seems cool with it as well as Keiko. They're brave huh?
"Now what can you say? Do it?" I asked as I glanced at the hall.
"Or..." I trailed off and looked at their back. "Deal with them?" I looked at A and smiled at her.
"Silence means yes," I said when minutes passed, they remained silent.
"How sure are you that it means yes?" A asked she can no longer hold herself, huh? Tsk. What a short-tempered woman.
"Hmm?" I hmmed as I pretend to think. I held my chin and looked at them.
"I'm a hundred percent sure. Why?" I said, they stared at me as I walked back and forth in front of them.
"As you would know, you're in my territory. You..." I said and stopped walking back and forth. I placed my hands on my waist and stared at them coldly.
"You have set your foot right on it. You don't have a choice but to deal with it" I said and lifted an eyebrow as I crossed my arms, again.
"So, I'll lead the way. This way please..." I gestured the way into the hall. It's evident in my voice how I am enjoying the current situation and how I teased them, specifically, A.
"Gust..." I called when I saw him beside L. They are not talking but I can tell the tension that surrounds them. I tilted my head but I shrugged the thought off.
"You're done with the talk?" he asked. I scoffed at him and sat between them.
"If that is called, 'talk'," I quoted. I glanced at L. She's just looking ahead. I creased my forehead as she seems not in the mood.
"Hey, I left you here thinking you're all good at replacing me for a while, but I didn't say that you need to glued your eyesight at the coffins!" I think I raised my voice a bit as she seems startled by it. My lips are pressed together trying to stop myself from laughing at her. She punched well, I don't want a bruise on my pretty face.
"Laugh and you're a dead meat" she coldly said as she stared at me. She stood up and without saying anything, she turns her back and left.
"Hey, Gust! What did you do?" I asked my cousin instead.
"I didn't do anything!" he sounded defensive, and it thrilled me to think that something has happened during my 'talk' a while ago.
"I don't believe you, Gust. Say it. What happened?" I asked him, he looks away and heaved a sigh.
"I confessed" took me by surprise. What?!
"You confessed?!" I asked, total shock. I looked in front of me and bite my lower lip trying not to burst into laughter.
"And in the middle of a burial?" I asked again as I can't believe him. Oh my ghad! This is unbelievably funny!
"Hey! Lower down your voice" he said, I cleared my throat and sat up straight. I even held my hands together, tightly so I can stop myself, pretty well. I took deep breaths and did all that I can do to stop myself from laughing. But it was funny to think, he confessed to L in the middle of this! I shooked my head.
I glanced at him and cleared my throat when a laugh tried to slip on my lips. "Gust..." I called him, he looked at me, his face is red as a tomato. And that sight made my grip on myself, loosen.
"Hahaha!" I laughed and I don't care if all of the people here are disturbed by it. I inhaled, exhaled, and tried to calm myself down. It took me five minutes to do that.
"Done laughing your ass out?" he asked sarcastically.
I rolled my eyes as I chuckled, "Yes! Done!" I cheerfully answered him. He tsked and rolled his eyes at me.
"By the way, how did you know? You seemed not surprised with what happened" he said, I looked at him and shook my head.
"You're like transparent glass. Though, from other's perspectives, you're cold, silent, and mysterious, for me, no. As I've said, you're like transparent glass. I know when you're mad, stressed, happy, and such. So, make yourself be at ease" I smiled at him as I tapped his shoulder. He heaved a sigh and rest his head on my shoulder.
The day passed quickly. I didn't even know it's already dark outside. I felt my phone vibrate underneath my pockets. I carefully put my cousin's head at the headrest of the chair but someone stopped me. I looked up and smirked playfully when I saw L.
"Take care of him, okay?" I said and smiled wider. I let her do the job as I went out to answer the call. The caller is persistent, huh? I thought when my phone didn't stop vibrating.
"Hello? Who's this?" I asked in a monotone as I stared at the dark sky.
I creased my forehead as I seemed to hear some sound of a heart monitor. Is this person at the hospital?
"Naiah..." I shuddered how creepy the sound of my name was from her mouth.
"Who are you?" I asked still, in a monotone voice. It seems like the caller is mistaken me for someone else.
"I'm someone you know" she mysteriously said. I furrowed my forehead as I place my right hand on my waist.
"Excuse me, but you seemed mistaken me for someone else," I said, but then the person at the other line laugh like a witch.
"Naiah, Naiah, Naiah..." she uttered my name three times and it was like, goosebumps!
"Are you Naiah?" I gripped my phone tightly, she's speaking nonsense!
"Of course! Stop it you bitch! Who are you?" I coldly asked as I gritted my teeth when she laughs again for the second time. She is a witch!
"Naiah. Draine. Rizonde. Alvetré" she spoke my name one by one with emphasis. A shiver runs down my veins. She's creepy and... Crazy!
"How did you know my name?" I asked her. I creased my brow when she gasped loudly and I know she's just acting.
"Oh!" she exclaimed as if she was shocked by what I asked.
"Is that your name? But why is it that my patient..." she trailed off.
"What are you trying to say?!" I nearly shouted as I am furious with what she's trying to imply.
No, it's not what I think it is. That's impossible! This is absurd! Aisshhh!!
"Curious are we? Naiah, think about it, no, try to remember it" she sternly said. I am having a hard time breathing as I tried myself calm. From this point, I can no longer hold myself. She's good at making me disturbed! Who the hell is she?!
"I don't have to as I don't know what are you talking about" my voice is shaking because of the idea that is trying to choke me to death. This is ridiculous!!!
"You know what it is. Stop pretending Naiah, stop it" I gritted my teeth. She's saying nonsense! I am not pretending for Pete's sake!
"What do you want from me? Huh? I don't even know you!" I burst out, but I kept myself intact. No, she's just trying to sway me in.
"I want you to say your name. Your. Whole. Name." I gulped and I seemed to break my phone from gripping it tightly. She's insane! But I don't have any choice but to do it. And so that she can also stop bothering me!
"Naiah Draine Rizonde Alvetré" clenching my jaw, I closed my eyes tight.
"This is interesting," she said after a while.
"How is that interesting?" I asked, she laughs like a witch and I shuddered.
"Hey, Naiah!" I creased my forehead when suddenly, her tone changed. From being playful to, a dark one, real quick.
I waited for her to say something. And so she did. But with something that can make you want to destroy everything.
"You're not my patient"
"Of course I'm not!"
"You really are dumb. You're not my patient but she is" I creased my forehead. What the hell is she talking about?!!
"She? Who?"
"Naiah Draine Rizonde Alvetré" I nearly dropped my phone. What?!!!
"Tell me, is it just a coincidence that you have the same name, middle name as well as, the surname?"
"You're not Naiah...
Who. Are. You.?"
