Leila’s hand tightly gripped Zander’s neck before his lips touched mine. “I told you not to mess with me...” she uttered with her eyes closed.
Thinking Leila is joking, Zander laughs. “You seem to be drawn to the thrill of violent romance... Hmm, then I can give you that.“
But the sneer on Zander’s face gradually faded when Scarlett’s grip became too much and made him breathless.
“Your right... I love violence; seeing the frightened look on your face makes me excited,” After these remarks, Scarlett smirked and raised her face.
These taunting remarks from Scarlett convey an irritating feeling to Derek. “What did you say? I am frightened because of you?” he fretted and held the hand on his neck.
“I never expected someone like you to be an alpha! You’re too weak to be one!” After belittling Zander, Leila pushes him hard, causing him to lose his balance and fall to the ground.
Zander’s eyes widened in shock and embarrassment. “You have no right to speak to me like that!” he yelled and quickly stood up. Since Zander was a child, he has never been called weak, which is why Leila’s remarks insulted him.
When Leila’s alter ego is awakened, she can’t feel fear. So, instead of shaking with fear, she giggled. “For heaven’s sake, I’m not offending you! I’m stating a fact! You would have stayed standing if you had the strength to resist the push!”
Because of the blatant humiliation, Zander’s composure was utterly torn. “Leila Aragon! You will pay for this!” Zander rushed with his claws, ready to slash without thinking about the consequences.
An inch before Zander’s attack hit Leila, iron hands caught it. “What the hell do you think you’re doing? How dare you attack my woman!”
“Ah! Bradley, it’s not what you think!” Zander cried out, loaded. Because of anger, he did not notice his arrival.
Since Leila ignored his call it his annoyance was high. Bradley twisted Zander’s arm, the reason for him to kneel. “What do you think I speculate? Who do you think you are?”
At that moment, the council members, Eunice and Zander’s pack delegate, arrived. They quickly ran to separate the two.
“Alpha! What is this going on? Let Alpha Zander go!” the head council quickly grabbed Bradley’s arm.
However, the latter’s gaze twisted towards him. “This madman attacked Leila! Do you think I will let him survive?!”
Eunice approached Leila. But seeing the smirk on her face, she understood what was happening. “Bradley, it’s better if you keep Leila away and let me deal with Zander,” Eunice muttered seriously.
“Huh! I told you I didn’t start it! That woman belittled me! And she attacked me first!” Zander blurted, while wincing because Bradley was still gripping him.
“There is nothing wrong with what I said! Look at yourself... Bradley can kill you without getting sweaty!” Leila responded, sneering.
The council and Zander’s delegate were stunned and couldn’t believe Leila’s remarks, which is why everyone stared at her- including Bradley.
“You heard that! If that girl can’t respect the alpha, how can she be Luna? So, let me let me teach her how to respect an alpha!” Zander asserted.
Leila raised an eyebrow with a sarcastic smile. “Cut the craft! You’re too weak to win! Also, I’m too precious to be your Luna!”
Hearing how Leila spoke, Bradley already knew what was going on. So he let go of Zander’s hand and went to her. “She won’t insult you if you have done nothing wrong! And like she said, Leila will never be your Luna, because she’s too precious to be with you!”
With his group around him, it encouraged Zander. “Are you underestimating my ability? Of all the participants, I’m the strongest, so how can you say I don’t deserve Leila Aragon?” He snarled.
But Bradley didn’t pay attention to the challenging remarks from Zander. It focused his attention on Leila, who was now smiling at him arrogantly. “Let’s go home... Aunt Maurice is waiting at home.”
“Right away? But I’m not done…“
Bradley didn’t wait for Leila to finish what she was saying; he picked her up. But before stepping to leave, Bradley turned and looked at the head of the council. “... The next time you invite Leila without my permission, I will not hold back. I don’t care if you are the head of the council!”
When Bradley and Leila disappeared from everyone’s sight, Zander’s delegate could only react.
“Alpha, this is not right! They were so wrong to underestimate you and our pack. We could feel their disdain!”
“Yeah! Who the hell does he think he is? Doesn’t he know the Sapphire pack is below us?!”
Eunice couldn’t hold back anymore. “Zander, why don’t you tell your pack who Bradley is?! Or do you want me to introduce him?” she exclaimed with a smirk on her face. Eunice hated the fact that Bradley left with Leila in his arms, but she didn’t have a choice but to watch.
Leila's alter ego awakening was a ticking time bomb, and she was terrified of going mad in front of everyone.
“I’m sorry for the inconvenience... Don’t worry, I will talk to Bradley and I’ll make sure nothing like this happens,” the head council folded.
With Eunice watching, Zander decided not to prolong what had happened. “Fine! But let me warn you! What happens here, end tonight! I can't bear the thought of anyone knowing about this incident! Do you understand?”
The head council nodded quickly. “Of course, I will make sure that no one will know about this incident. Anyway, let me escort you to your cottage...”
Zander nodded and turned to Eunice. “What about you?”
“What about me? Since everything is fine, I’ll go ahead,” Eunice retorted, and walked away. She got into Leila’s car, which was left behind.

Meanwhile, Leila sat quietly in the passenger seat while Bradley was seriously focused on driving. But it didn’t last long because the latter spun the steering wheel and stopped the car.
“What was that?! Why aren’t you answering your phone?!” Bradley roared as his eyes focused on Leila.
“I don’t know... Perhaps my naïve self doesn’t want to talk to you.”
Bradley closed his eyes to calm himself. He almost forgot that Leila still hadn’t come back to her senses. “Fine! Then what happened to you and Zander?”
“Oh, the weakling alpha? Huh! He underestimated me and tried to kiss me, so I killed him!” Leila muttered.
“That crazy bastard!” Bradley hissed and signed. Then he started the engine again and did not speak.

A few minutes later, Eunice’s car stopped at a two-story house. “I can’t believe I’m doing this!” she grumbled and got out of the vehicle.
“Luna... The alpha is waiting for you inside.” a man asserted.
