"You're going to be here for the next three weeks." The one who holds Kenneth's shirt says our loud. "And if I must regard your mate's stares or glares, then it would be a fortnight."
Kenneth looks at her disdainfully, and shakes his head. He doesn't even know what to say about the current issue. He wants to utilise his power and show her that no one tries that with him and goes Scot free. The person would at least be harmed or hut. But if the dude goes unscathed, then it's a lucky dude.
"He would just terminate your dear lives." Emilia tells her and she feels offended so that she hits her chin, making the sound right in front of this weird pack house times two of the initial noise. "He would kill all of you!!!" Emilia yells more but feels a bit disappointed in Kenneth for not being there for her.
Because, according to her, he should be there for her by either restricting the person from slapping her chin or returning the slap more effectively and painfully. That's her evaluation but she's not gonna go against him, not even at this moment where it is paramount to be on his side for quick win. She would rebuke him once they settle.
"Do you know he's an Alpha?" Emilia asks them here and no one responds. The one holding Kenneth's shirts only keeps fuming and waiting for a word that would irk her so she can successfully slap her again, and won't be beaten. She glares at Emilia suddenly and Emilia gasps since the being sudden makes her stunned to a spot. She composes herself again and then walks up to them totally.
"Yes, I know. I know he's an Alpha." She replies Emilia. "And, what's that? What was he able to do when you were slapped? Are you trying to tell me he's patient? He's so stupid if that's the truth."
"Hey ma'am! Get in now!!!" Others yell and warn her strictly. "Leave the Alpha now, he's shifting already!!! Leave there now!!"
Emilia doesn't want her to leave Kenneth anymore since Kenneth is gradually shifting into his wolf. Though she knows their time is being delayed but she wants this lady to escape but through a painful means. Kenneth half shifts now and growls at the lady.
Her heart drops to her feet when she sees his face, so deadly and frightening. She backs off and releases her grip on him subconsciously. And before she can get back into her pack house finally, Kenneth grabs her hair and pulls it in an uneven means. She screams and others get into their damn pack houses as Emilia sees the power of the one begging her to be his mate.
She can easily give in to become his mate since Kenneth has been made her mate. But she doesn't want to accept on the other hand. Mainly for two reasons, a reason is more temporary than the other. She doesn't want to, because she wants to have a time to think about it so she won't regret at the end. And she doesn't want to, because the war between Max and Kenneth would grow worse. And, if she, for this reason, go get mated to Max, Kenneth would never take it easy. He would vent and vent and prepare his army warriors till he likes a lot.
There'd be bloodshed. She doesn't want this. Hence, she's got to think it well, and she needs space to think of it. A slight difference between Kenneth and max is that Kenneth would give her space to think of it while Max wants her by force. Though the good option is now obvious, at same time, any of the option is dangerous until the dust is settled.
In all this thinking, the lady had gotten inside the pack house with blood splattered on the ground. What Emilia can only see is Kenneth gradually turning back into his human form as he has already fully shifted. She sighs a stressful sigh, and moves on to him for the next motive.
"Don't touch me." Kenneth resists her, and she thinks he's actually not interested in her. Maybe at the moment, since he can't just do that and keep being at it for life. She waits for few seconds if he would apologize or say a word but since he doesn't and now in his human form, clad in his clothes unexpectedly, she moves away from him.
Hardly has she gone few steps than she feels warm hugs from behind. She wants to freeze but since he's the one she last talked to, she feels butterflies and wants to hit him hard so he can Spit words of apology but she bats no eyelid to confirm who is really hugging her from behind.
It is after some creepy minutes that she gets the urge to check who is hugging her since everything seems so horrific and the road is busy. As she looks back, a wolf comes up and hits the person's face. And then the person and the wolf start to fight. They both get into their wolves as they jump on each other to win themselves.
She finds a shelter first before watching the drama..in fact, where she decides to stay, she has to implore her wolf's vision to see them clearly since they're far from her human vision. She doesn't know if the real Kenneth is the one fighting or being fought. Whichever ways, she wants them to end their fight suddenly. And then after she thinks of this and have not gotten any plans to make them effective, she sees a wolfsbane and she decides to pick it up and use it. But she doesn't know who to affect with it.
She could have used it on any of them if only she knows Kenneth's abilities. Let's say she knows wolfsbane doesn't weaken him, then that's a verified go-ahead to do the doing. Do you feel me? She therefore gets up from her hiding place and jumps out of the window. She skeddadles to their sides and then sees them fighting aggressively this time around. She sees a hunter coming towards their direction with the most effective and allowed wolfsbane. She knows that even the moon Goddess would approve the wolf to be weakened if the wolfsbane is used on him or her. But she doesn't want this for Kenneth. And she can't appear to the hunter and suffer under the wolfsbane. Because she wants to save someone she's not dating or mated to. She thinks of what to do and when she doesn't get, plus the fast approaching steps of the hunter, she starts to sob. And she sniffles so hard so fast till Kenneth in his wolf form turns back.
And for some months back now, her wolf talks to her. Her wolf tells her not to worry and not to regard any emotional wolf out of the two as the real Kenneth. What she tells her stuns her a lot as she hears that none of the two is Kenneth. They are both aliens, and they should be killed
She immediately believes her wolf though she does take time to think of issues. And as she runs through the bush, she sees those two angry wolves rushing after her. Maybe their initial plans were to even eat Emilia up, She doesn't know. Even friends beware of one another not to talk of enemies. She runs through the leaves and through the forest but her wolf calms her down by telling her she's not being pursued. That even if she's being pursued, she can't be overtaken or caught up with. Emilia shrugs her shoulders and almost blames her for confusing her. She sees an uncompleted building and decides to hide there. The sins of Kenneth to her are being laid up in her heart, and she's set to stab him with knives of retaliation. She smirks at her plans but once she sees a shadow pass by her, she freezes up and her spirit changes again. Even her wolf doesn't tell her a thing again. She wants to hide but her eyes meet with a wolf's eyes. It is the person she doesn't want to see. It is that same person she's been liking but doesn't want to see. It's the person that has been intending to kill her for a long time. It's the wolf that doesn't want to see her cry but wants to hurt her. It's a paradoxical wolf. She thinks her wolf or prolly a nice wolf that has access to her mind or mind link is the one talking to her now but it's only her scared mental faculty. She wants to scream but the wolf doesn't move. The wolf ensures she sees it in the human form but it's all ready to fight her if she tries to run. Because if she sees it in the normal self, she would not wait.
But, everything just changed, and it is entirely who she isn't expecting.
