"What do you want to say?" Grace said, confused by the seriousness on Sutan's face.
Sutan stood up and pushed the chair back. He sat on the floor with his knees bent and said,
"Grace, will you be my wife and the mother of our children in the future? I like you, really like you. Ever since I first saw you, I've been interested in you. I hope you won't reject me. I promise I won't hurt you or make you cry. I will make you happy forever until we grow old together," he said firmly.
Grace was stunned by Sutan's words. She didn't expect him to confess his feelings so soon.
During her confusion, Sutan excused himself and went to the podium where the musicians were in the restaurant's corner. He took over the guitar and sat in the available spot.
He then strummed the guitar with a single note.
From outside the restaurant,
"Sir, it looks like that's Assistant Sutan," Raceh exclaimed, pointing to the man holding the guitar.
"What? He said it was a fundamental personal matter?" Zefki snarled.
"Let's go inside. But quietly, I want to see what that old bachelor is doing here!" Zefki pretended not to know that the restaurant belonged to the assistant.
They both quickly entered the restaurant and chose to sit in the back corner.
Raceh didn't realize that Grace was also in the restaurant.
Assistant Sutan spoke again,
"I dedicate this song to a girl who has always stolen my heart. I proposed to her this afternoon, and to hear the word 'yes' from her lips, I will sing a song for her, titled 'Your Protective Wings.'"
Assistant Sutan sang beautifully. Grace felt flattered, and her heart felt at ease. She felt special now.
"Sir ... that's so sweet, Assistant Sutan," Raceh exclaimed enthusiastically.
"Hmph! I can do that too!" Zefki said, not wanting to be outdone.
"Sir? Can you?" Raceh asked curiously.
"Of course I can! I'm even the best at it." Then Zefki whispered something in Hanny's ear.
"I'm great at shaking the bed, Baby!" Zefki's answer made Raceh shudder.
Back to Assistant Sutan,
He stepped down from the podium, holding a microphone in his hand. The musicians played the music again as the young man prepared to sing for the woman who had stolen his heart. None other than the lucky woman, Grace Pratista.
The first time I saw you My heartfelt presence This heart longed for you My heart calmed down when I heard your beautiful voice, unexpectedly touching my heart
This feeling can't be contained My heart will always be for you Accept this song from an ordinary person But my love for you is extraordinary
I don't have flowers I don't have wealth All I have is a faithful heart for you
Assistant Sutan finished singing. With confident steps, he walked towards the table where Grace was sitting.
"Sir, isn't that Kak Grace? Wait ... why is he now Assistant Sutan?" Raceh exclaimed, confused.
"You just relax, Baby. Let's see what happens next," Zefki reminded his wife to wait and see what would happen next.
Sutan knelt before Grace and took out a ring from his pocket, then said,
"Grace Pratista, will you marry me?"
Instantly, the voices of people in the restaurant filled the air, waiting for Grace's answer. As for Grace herself, she felt shocked because Assistant Sutan proposed to her so suddenly. But the happiness that awaited her in the future was reflected in her mind. Without Grace suspecting, her feelings of hurt and disappointment towards Roy vanished from her. Like a passing breeze. Perhaps that's what they call the power of love.
Sutan was still waiting for Grace's answer with an anxious heart. Without thinking twice, Grace, who was suddenly captivated by Assistant Sutan's sincerity, shyly answered,
"Yes, I do," she said, blushing.
Everyone in the restaurant applauded—especially Raceh, who suddenly felt touched and shed tears.
Only Zefki had a flat expression. "Wow, Sutan, you move fast!" he said sarcastically.
Then Assistant Sutan put the ring on Grace's ring finger, which fit perfectly. After that, Sutan kissed the back of Grace's hand and said,
"I love you so much,"
The people in the restaurant cheered happily. Sutan then stood up and said again,
"Attention, everyone! For those of you who are here and have witnessed the birth of love between me and my future wife, you will receive a special menu from our restaurant for free. Thank you and enjoy."
"Wow, Sutan, you've got style!" Zefki said, secretly impressed by the assistant's quick moves.
Raceh, overjoyed and happy that her sister finally found happiness, enthusiastically said,
"Brother, I'll go to Grace and congratulate her! I want to say congratulations," she exclaimed happily.
Without Zefki's approval, Raceh walked toward Grace's table and said,
"Sister ..." Grace turned her head towards the voice. She was surprised to see Raceh there, followed by Zefki walking behind Raceh.
"Raceh," she said stiffly.
Raceh immediately rushed towards Grace and hugged her.
"Congratulations, Sister. I hope you'll always be happy. You made the right choice. Assistant Sutan is a good person," Raceh exclaimed at length.
"Good afternoon, Young Master," Assistant Sutan said nervously.
"Wow, this is what you meant by having a fundamental personal matter? Hurry up and get married so we can be as affectionate as us, without limits or boundaries," Zefki said, taking the opportunity to kiss his wife's hand and hold it tightly.
Grace blushed and looked down at Zefki because Sutan followed suit and held her hand.
"Please, Young Master and Miss, join us at our table." The two couples sat down and ate together at that table.
"So, when will the two of you get married?" Zefki asked casually.
"As soon as possible, Young Master. After this, I will seek the permission of Mr. and Mrs. Pratista," Assistant Sutan replied.
Suddenly, Grace choked upon hearing Assistant Sutan's statement.
"Sister, eat slowly," Raceh said.
Seeing his future wife choking like that, Assistant Sutan quickly handed Grace a glass of water to drink. Then Sutan gently patted Grace's back.
"Are you okay? Which part hurts? Let's go to the hospital immediately," Assistant Raceh panicked. He quickly tidied up Grace's bag and reached for her hand to leave.
Raceh, who saw Assistant Sutan's actions, suddenly glanced at her husband and said in her heart,
"So, they're on the same server ..."
