Pecthra's pov:
What does he mean by ' his own way'? I asked myself
I looked at him callously
If there was something I know - it was the fact that him coming here at all means he truly was gonna help; and that alone, gave me hope
" What do you mean?" Myra asked looking at him
" I have a plan; but don't worry y'all...it's not something that's gonna hurt her or anything of that sort" Sammie assured us
" But still; we need to know what you have in mind" Aaron said
We all nodded in agreement with what he had said
" I think he's right" Jayson spoke
" We need to know everything" Stacy also said
" At some point we'd have to look out for each others back" Bryan said
" Look guys.. I'm a Skyboy - which means; am not gonna have all the time in the world to do this with you. Being here alone is already taking my time; have got tons of things to do" Sammie said
" Is it about the birthday party?" Myra asked
" I'm a superstar sweetheart. We don't have all the time in the world" he replied her
" So this is what I'll do... I'll send Yvonne to you - Mona; when have thought of a perfect plan and am sure of it, but for now; I gotta go. I have plenty of things to do" Sammie said checking his watch
" Don't you get it?" Myra snapped at him getting up from where she sat
" We need her to come with us to the sleepover - Tonight. We need to be complete, and you not helping now means she's not gonna go, and if there's anything I hate most...it's the fact that some of us get to be there while one of us isn't..so now Mr skyboy, can you relate?" Myra growled as she spoke
She ended her speech and turned to look at us
The looks in our faces made her realised she had said too much and to the wrong person
She had this amazed and puzzled look on her face as she stared
She slowly shifted her gaze away from us to Sammie
He was neither smiling or laughing. His countenance wasn't defined and his mood uncertain
" Myra" I called her calmly, hoping she would apologize immediately
I didn't know the history between them; but am sure it wasn't enough for her to talk to him that way
I understand she was just overwhelmed and clouded by her emotions - I feel same way too
" Sammie" Mona called affectionately
" I gotta go" Sammie simply said looking at his watch for the upteeeth time.
He looked round and gave a short smile before walking out
" What was... that?" Stacy asked Myra standing up
Myra fell dejectedly on her seat
" I'm talking to you Myra" Stacy yelled
" Not now Stacy" Aaron half begged
" What do you mean not now? Who does she think she is to talk to him the way she did? I don't care if she knew him or if she was the only one that was able to get him here; but now it's all for nothing and just a waste because it yielded nothing. What's now the essence?" Stacy rasped
" Calm down girlfriend" I said
Stacy took heavy breaths and sat down, really pissed and angry
Jayson's pov:
I watched as they argued. I sat still not saying a word
Myra was my best friend and I know how she gets. She was very temperamental.
I know right now she would have been regretting her actions
" Myra" I called
She didn't look at me.
" Apologize" I said, and this time she turned to me giving me a hard glare
" What's she apologizing for?" Bryan asked me
" Wh...what??" Stacy yelled and stood up again
" Did I just hear you correctly" she shouted at Bryan
" Okay; guys, guys,it's okay...I'll..I'll just go home... y'all don't have to worry about me anymore. Thanks alot for your help so far" Pecthra said standing up
She picked up her bag in an attempt to leave but Aaron held her back
" What do you think you're doing?" he asked her getting up as well
He was so close to her and spoke softly
" What does it look like? I can't just sit here and watch you guys quarrel and argue knowing am the cause. I need to go...just...just let me go" Pecthra said with a tear filled voice, trying to wriggle her hand out of Aarons hold
Aaron stared at Bryan and he shrugged
Aaron furrowed his brows at him and gave him an angry look
" You're not leaving" he looked back at Pecthra and said
" I have to...if Roselle gets home before me...am dead" she said
" Just let her go Aaron" Stacy said
" You don't want to complicate things further" she added
Aaron slowly let go of her hand with a sad look. He moved aside for her to pass
Pecthra looked at him before she started walking. He didn't look at her
" At least let's drop you off" Bryan said
She stopped walking. She turned back to look at us with a smile
" I'll be fine" she said and was about to leave but Aaron quickly went to her and held her arm
He opened the door and dragged her out.
We all were amazed at his reaction and ran out with them
He dragged her all the way out to the parking lot. He opened the car door and pushed her in to the front seat
Aaron actually drove himself to school that very day. He had told us his dad got him a new car and he had insisted on driving it himself from then henceforth - with no driver
His dad had obliged and given his consent
He pushed her in and hesitated at the door looking at us
" Are you guys going or not?" he asked
We hurriedly went in
Stacy's driver had also arrived so Myra went with her, while the rest of us went with Aaron
Ben was the last to get in. He had been silent since Sammie came and left. We had so much on our minds to even bother about asking him what was wrong

Aaron drove and got to Pecthra's house in no time. Stacy's car was right behind his
He parked the car and waited for her to get down
She did sluggishly, giving Aaron a stare before doing so
" Hold on;" Ben said
" What is it" I asked him
" Isn't that Yvonne's car?" he asked no one in particular
" Yvonne's car? Do you expect us to know if it's hers or not?" I asked him
" Dummy,you would know a Skyboy or Sky girl's car with their name. It's always written at the back of the car" Bryan explained to me
" Oh! I see... interesting" I said surprise
" I'll check," Aaron said, unhooking his seatbelt. He got down from the car and went close to the suppose car
" If it's really hers, then why is it parked outside?" I asked Ben
He shrugged his shoulder giving me an ' I don't know' gesture
I sighed and watched Aaron
He walked to the car's back and stared at it. He looked back at us and nodded affirmatively
" I think you'll have to figure out your question yourself" Bryan told me
Aaron walked back and entered the car
" It's her car" he said
" Yeah! but the thing is, why would she park outside?" Bryan asked the same question I had asked
" I dunno" Aaron said .
He rested his arm on the car's door with an arched brow. He seems to be In thought
" Wait a minute!!" he suddenly spoke and gasped
" What" Ben asked
" What if...oh! what if Sammie had asked her to come over " he said
We furrowed our brows at him.m, not getting the hint
" Ikay!! Sammie told us earlier he was gonna send Yvonne to us when he's sure of a plan...wh...what if that's the reason she's here" he said enthusiastically
" Okay...but what's her car doing outside?" I asked him, not sure of what he was getting at
" I don't know about that" he replied me
" Or was it to give us the hint she was here" Ben said
" How would she know we'll drop her off?" I asked them
" Oh man! think" Bryan snapped at me
What the...?
"Alright...take it easy, will ya" I told him
He sighed and shook his head
There was a brief silence until we heard Mona's voice calling Aaron
We looked at the window and saw her standing close by
She was breathing hard, which means she had ran
It was a short distance, so why had she run? I asked myself
" Aaron, Aaron" she called excitedly
Aaron looked at her. She was standing by the window side
" Yess!" Aaron answered her, probably wondering why she was looking so happy
" It's...it's Yvonne" she said smiling " she called" she informed us
We turned to look at one another
" You said what?,"Bryan asked her again to be sure he heard right
" She called" Mona said
" Pecthra will attend" she said the last part and Aaron straightened up
