It has been two weeks since myself and Eros attended his Parent's dinner, since we visited my parents and since we signed the contract. We haven't really been on talking terms. I mean, we do go to the office together or sometimes we don't and my colleagues are beginning to suspect that there's something between us. Well, sooner or later they are all going to find out.
Daine has been really nice and I met her daughter, Maria. She has a really good personality though she's a little bit blunt, scratch that, she's very blunt though we clicked instantly. I met up with Jade and we talked about what went on in our lives the last time we saw each other. She promised she was going to hang Eros when she sets her eyes on him. I don't think she likes him anymore. Maria finally decided to hang out with myself and Jane, we had a girl's night at Jane's place, finally another girl in the group.
Jane said she's due in about three weeks from now and it's a girl and a boy. Yes, twins! I am going to be the best aunt's those babies would want. The last time I met up with the girls was a week on Tuesday and today is Friday.
You guys won't believe who I just met?
I heard my phone ding, a text, and it was from Jade, we decided to create a group chat so it would be easier to talk with each other.
Who?? Jane replied.
Collins!
I rolled my eyes as I saw her message and then typed back, that fucker??
Collins is Maria's abusive ex boyfriend and a cheater. He has been her boyfriend for five years and he threw all that into the bin when she decided she couldn't handle his shit anymore. Though she claims she still loves him, because he has been her bestfriend she was thirteen.
I mean, who cares!
What did he want?

Don't tell me you're thinking of giving him a second chance?! I replied.
You're dumb. Jane replied.
I decided to video call both of them.
"Don't you dare give him a second chance you dumbass!" Jane screamed into the phone as soon as both their faces appeared on my screen
"Jane, calm down." I rolled my eyes.
"And you," I said as I faced Maria, "a second chance? Tell me you are not actually considering it?"
"I am, both of you still know that-"
"Yes, we know you love him!" Jane roles her eyes, "but still, he hit you. Don't you get it?"
"Look Maria, as much as I want to disagree with Jane but she's right and you-"
"Janet, my office, now." Since when as he been standing there. He didn't wait for my reply before he left my office.
I sighed, "I will talk to you girls later. I have some work to attend to." I made an excuse.
"Okay."
"Okay."
"Bye." I hung up the phone.
I stood up from my seat and then tried pulling down my skirt a little bit. I was wearing a nude leather skirt that was reaching my mid thigh and a black long sleeved top.
"You asked for me." I said as I sat on the comfortable chair, opposite him. With his brown mahogany table separating us.
I noticed his eyes lingering on my cleavage and then back up at my face.
He cleared his throat, "One of my friends invited us over for dinner at his place, with my wife."
"Okay." I nodded my head.
"And it is tomorrow."
"Got it." I gave him a small smile.
He opened his mouth like he had something to say but then I guess he decided against it.
"Anything else?"
"Uh, no." He replied as he looked around his office.
As soon as I made my way out of his office I dropped my smile. Well, a part of me half expected him to give me an apology but, I guess jokes on me.
He didn't care in either way.
I decided to work for a few minutes and then go get lunch.
I know you can already tell, I didn't work for a few minutes, well it was just and hour and a half. By the time I was done, it was around four.
I made my way out of the office to go to the nearest diner. I decided on the spicy chicken and broccoli.
I made my way out of that diner to the nearest coffee shop, I know it's late, but I still need it. I won't say I am addicted to coffee, I just always find myself in this shop.
"Thank you." I gave the Teenage boy a smile as he handed me my cup of Mocha. My favourite!
As I made my way to turn around and head back to my office, I bumped into a guy, spilling the coffee on the floor and little on his white shirt.
"Fucking hell!" I heard a thick British accent. And damn...
"I am so sorry!" I apologized as I moved back looking at the damage I caused on his white shirt. "I am not always this clumsy." I said looking up at him.
To be honest he is actually hot but Eros is still looking better between both of them. He had dark brown hair, chiseled chin and a slightly crooked nose.
His face actually looks familiar, but I can't pin point where I know him from. "It's okay." He said giving me a small smile.
"I can get a clean shirt for you, if you want?"
"Janet, it's fine." He said and then made his way to the counter.
How in the world does he know my name?!
Weird.
I made my way outside the shop and then spotted Eros standing outside, resting on the car with his arms crossed. He looked behind me and I looked back to see him glaring at the British hottie.
He looked like he was about to punch him in the face. And meanwhile the other guy didn't even notice him.
I didn't even get his name.
"Get in the car."
