It should be cool if their story ends there. But they still have to change her past. She died from there and she has no idea how she will survive. After finding out that Derek is also a time traveler, they have more issues.
If he can save himself from getting shot on the exact date, it means that Celine is his fiance. That was long over and she has no idea how to deal with it. She's the same woman from that moment. The problem is, she no longer feels the same for him.
While Celine and the future Drake (Chad), seem to get to know each other all over again. It's not easy to start all over again. But she tries to get close to him. Although she can't stop thinking about Drake's past self, she's no longer stuck in the past.
She is now in the future which means she has to move on. Chad is now Drake so she must prepare herself for their rollercoaster love story. The problem is, they can't just ignore Derek. He's the key to her survival. If he can go to the future alive, that means she can do it too.
Drake seems to be busy more and more now. He has to make the correct computation or all his efforts will go down the drain. The only reason why he pursued time travel is because of Celine. If he can't save her, that means that everything was just for nothing.
As much as he is a time travel genius, he can't show his feelings well. Although Celine seems to be more comfortable with him now. But how did the past passionate Drake suddenly become this type of guy?
He seems like he cares more about his research than her. Or maybe the treadmill looks more appealing to him. Ever since they have decided to move on from the past Drake, he's been working out like crazy. She is beginning to get bored around the lab.
"Can you get off that treadmill? I feel dizzy looking at you!" She finally snapped at him.
"Just one more minute!" He replied and continued running.

"Whatever!" She said and got up from the couch.
She knows that he is finally inspired to get fit again. But somehow, she finds it annoying. How come he's not even paying much attention to her lately? Sure, he's busy with recalculating the possibility of her going back alive. But after that, he will be busy doing his cardio.
Drake no longer looks like chubby Chad anymore. He already lost a lot of weight now but he seems to be addicted to working out. Celine went straight to her room. It's great that he was able to prepare all these before. But she's missing Drake more these days.
"Celine, baby? Can I come in?" Drake knocks on her door after about 30 minutes.
He said he will be done in a minute? She feels irritated and gets up from bed to open the door for him. After going back from the past, she thought that this future Drake will be more attentive to her. After all, she just lost the past and she is still feeling down about it.
"What?" She opens the door and didn't expect to see Drake just wearing a towel.
She almost drools from the sight in front of her. Since when did he look this good? Maybe working out like crazy somehow makes him look like this. He's hotter now compared to the past Drake she knew. Or maybe she was just lonely.
"Can I come in?" He asks with his boyish smile.
"Yeah, sure! Whatever! Why are you only wearing that?" She irritatingly asks.
She knows that he's trying to seduce her somehow. But she doesn't want to look easy. That's why she tried her best to frown even if she wanted to smile.
"I rushed after I shower. You look upset earlier." He said and went closer to her.
She can smell the soap and shampoo he used and it adds up to the tension. It's the first time he went this close to her. She's the one who always does this to him. But he doesn't seem bothered by her. Why is she so bothered now?
"Do you need my attention? It seems you have been trying so hard lately." He chuckled.
Celine suddenly feels her heart is beating so fast. Why is she nervous about him all of a sudden? He just lost some pounds and is still not as buff as the old Drake. But he seems to gain a different charm now that he's no longer chubby.
"Where are your love handles?" She suddenly complained looking at his flat abs.
"I worked so hard to lose it and now, you're looking for it?" He laughed at her.
"Why did you suddenly look different? You don't look like your old self and definitely not Chad!" She said while still scanning his almost naked body.
"I thought you don't like my chubby self? I still have to work out to achieve Drake's muscles from the past." He goofs around.
He's definitely the future Drake! But why is she feeling nervous around him? She stepped back when he went closer to her. But not because she wants to get away from him. She is aiming for the bed so she can sit. Her knees suddenly feel weak.
But before she could sit, her one knee gave in and Drake caught her. She feels so nervous and unexpectedly, his towel suddenly drops. Her eyes caught the most familiar part of his body to her. He is definitely her Drake!
"Look what you do!" Drake told her but didn't bother to pick up his towel.
"Drake, kiss me or I will go crazy!" Celine told her with passion from her eyes.
"I knew it! My wife needs attention!" He said and kissed her.
Celine's mind is all over the place but her body seems to act differently. She jumps and clings her legs to his hips. He was able to catch her before they both fell on the bed.
