“finally dreamer” a voice said for Adeya to turn to see a manly figure in a dark cloak……
“Who are you?” Adeya asked as vapors come out from her mouth due to the Cold chilling forest she stood in.
“I know, you’ve heard about me before dear dreamer” the thick voice said for Adeya to frown.
“Goona?” Adeya asked for the voice to laugh out making Adeya to feel dizzy but immediately he stop, she became normal again but still cold.
“Where am I?” Adeya asked..
“Thenas.. I know you must have heard about us
Goonas, thenas is our realm dear dreamer. I have been trying to bring you out here but you seems hesitant because of your pregnancy.” The Goona said as he began to walk towards Adeya who move back slowly.
“ why did you bring me here, they told me you are the most wicked and scary of them all but I see nothing to be scared of here” Adeya said for the Goona to stop approaching her.
“ I see… don’t judge the book by its cover dreamer” the Goona said as he laugh again.
“ what am I doing….
“ you are here because I smell and sense the aura of the choosing one around you, Death will flood the land of Thi’an very soon my dear dreamer. Tell your people to bring out the chosen one, the barrier blocking our realm with Thi’an is getting thinner and thinner by the day. Summoning you is a very good step to make us believe…” the thick voice said as he began to move towards Adeya who slowly moves back away from the creature.
“ why don’t you remove your cloak, let me see your face” Adeya said as she began to move back slowly but she got no response from the creature who didn’t stop this time but continue to walk towards her. Adeya became scared, immediately she try to turn to run away, her bare feet stepped on a broken sharp wound making Adeya to scream in pain.
At the living realm, Thiasus knows she has start to have another nightmare so immediately he went to lock their door, he knows even if he tries to wake her she won’t wake up until she’s been released there. He hold her arms worried as her other hand gently form a protective barrier around her small baby bump but what scared him was when she screamed and her feet began to bleed like she stepped on a sharp broken object. This made Thiasus to try waking her up.
“ Adeya wake up please.. Adeya” Thiasus tries to wake her up but still no response instead tears of pain was pouring down her eyes. Until he heard her speak while still crying.
“ don’t touch me please… please” this got Thiasus so scared and angry as he try to wake her up even knowing she won’t wake up until she’s been released.
Back at the Goonas realm Thanus, Adeya began to scream and cry in pain as the sharp stick was still inside her feet.
The cloak figured man bend down towards Adeya who still try to move but couldn’t.
“ don’t touch me please.. please” Adeya cried but she got frozen as she saw a dark skeleton hand coming under the cloak trying to touch her leg but immediately she try to use her hand to stop him, the skeleton hand grab hold of it making Adeya feel like a block of ice was drop on her body, she didn’t know when the creature removed the stick under her feet because of how cold and frozen she became.
At the real world, Thiasus saw the scar of five dark fingers on his lover hand which got him more scared immediately he kissed Adeya biting on her lips for her to gasp…
“ Ahh… ahh” Adeya began to breath heavily as she began to turn pale instantly..
“ my love, Adeya, look at me. What’s going on?” Thiasus was so scared because no matter which nightmares she had, she don’t come with injuries or strange dark scar or look this pale.
“ cold… am cold” Adeya try to talk making Thiasus to immediately wrap her with their blanket. When he look at her feet, he saw she have lost a lot of blood so immediately he rushed out to call the royal doctor.
Adeya has never felt that scared before, all her fear was her baby. She look at her palm and when she saw the dark scar of the skeleton fingers, she gasp trying to clean it but it was like a tattoo.
Thiasus and his mother with the royal doctor rushed in.
Thiasus sat close to the laying Adeya who was still freezing.
“ how comes Thiasus?” Queen Sanya asked after seeing Adeya injured feet.
“ I don’t know mother, I guess she had it before and I didn’t notice.”
“ this is a fresh injury your highness” the doctor said for Thiasus to sigh. After able to stop the bleeding, the royal doctor treated the wound against infection while he check her pale body.
“ she’s running fever..” the doctor said as he tried to open Adeya blanket, Thiasus refused scared they will see the scar on her hand but when the royal doctor opened her up, nothing was there like it was never there surprising even Adeya who just saw it a moment ago.
“ Are you alright Thi?” Queen Sanya asked her son after seeing her surprise and shocked face.
“Yes… yes mother” Thiasus said swallowing hard. He’s scared for Adeya and their baby.
After the doctor finish examine her, he gave Queen Sanya a herbal tea medicine for pregnant women with fever and also a herbal cream to rub on her injured feet.
“ thank you Doctor sarangi” Queen Sanya said as she see the doctor out while Thiasus continue to look at Adeya hand.
“ my love, the touch, it’s not there anymore” Thiasus asked Adeya who nod her head.
“ hug me please” Adeya requested as she still feels cold.
“ thi… I need to speak with you” Queen Sanya came back after seeing the doctor off.
“ what happened to her, how did she get a fresh wound?” Queen Sanya asked Thiasus who doesn’t know how to lie to his mother.
“ mother.. it’s a long story, I will explain later but she needs me now.” Thiasus said for Queen Sanya to sigh.
“ I will ask samizdat to bring in her breakfast together with the medicine alright. Take care of this girl Thi, she has no one” Queen Sanya said before leaving.
Thiasus went back just to see Adeya has fallen asleep again. He needs to inform his grandmother about this at least let him know how to protect the woman he fell inlove with. While Adeya was sleeping, Thiasus went to his table as he brought out a parchment and a ink bottle with its feather ready to write to his grandmother.
Few minutes after writing what he feels is enough for his grandmother to know how eager he is to know how he can help his woman, Thiasus wrapped the parchment and went to send the palace errand boy secretly to his grandmother before coming to hug Adeya who was sleeping soundly.
At Ghia, Hectare woke up to see his elder brother sitting as he stare far away through the room window.
“ El..” his weak voice called but Elias didn’t respond. “Elias” his weak voice called again but still Elias didn’t respond. This got Hectare scared as he wonder why he stare far away. He help himself to stand up and walk towards him.
Elias who was staring far away as he wasn’t staring because his eyes has turned red due to anger and wonders why he was seeing a vision of blood and cries in the four lands of Thi’an, creatures he haven’t seen before in his entire life or even heard of was killing innocent humans but the problem was he couldn’t hear what they were asking the humans before they got killed. He tries to hear but still nothing. It was all silent like a grave yard while the scene just play. He watch as mothers cried for their lost ones but he can’t hear them. Still trying to hear what they were being asked, he felt a fragile hand on his shoulder immediately he turn to the direction, Hectare gasp with what he saw but when he blink to be sure, it wasn’t there anymore.
“ your.. your eyes, it was red few moments ago” hectare said for Elias to frown.
“ red?, but I didn’t cry” Elias said as he stood up and help his brother to sit.
“ not red, like cry Elias, bloody red like a monster” Hectare said for Elias to laugh.
“ stop it Hecty, maybe it’s your eyes. I was just lost starring far away as I wish I met my sister. I guess it’s your sickness.” Elias said confusing Hectare who began to doubt what he saw.
“ maybe… ahh.. hope father and my mother didn’t scold you about me” Hectare asked for Elias to smile.
“ your mother did but father didn’t, I didn’t blame her Hecty, she was scared of loosing you. How are you feeling?” Elias asked for Hectare to nod.
“ I feel ashamed of being born weak El, I feel like a burden” Hectare said as he began to cry, that moment Nella walked in to see her son crying and without asking why, she slapped Elias……..
