Jake went to the lodge given to all the new students who won the competition. Jake was happy he is now an Eminent fighter 2 and mage 2.
'If I have evolved that means my powers have leveled up! '
  He then made a ball of fire appear, but this time it was not a fist-size it was as big as a 3sized football put together.
'So this is what an Eminent mage 2 power looks like! '
He then asked the system to bring the dummy and set it up to level 4, he got into a fighting stance and this time the dummy did not wait for him to come at it but it rushed forward with its wooden sword. As it was about to strike Jake discovered he could keep up with the dummy's stance and reflexes, he used his oword to hit the dummy and it fell on the floor.
   Jake jumped up he was so happy, an ordinary 14years old boy who lived a normal life before has powers now and can fight like a real combat fighter on earth. He went to bed, tomorrow was going to be a big day for him, attending Arcadia academy.
  The next day he got dressed in plain clothes and went to the academy, the gate of Arcadia academy was huge and the Name Arcadia academy with a black dragon logo was imprinted on the gate.
   He got in, he saw many students of his age and older, this was the first year Arcadia academy department or the students of the first level department, and the second year's students department was at the back side of the first year.
The first year's students were from 14-to 16, while the second year's students were from 17-18.
 After each student is done with arcadia academy he/she will work as a palace guard, a security guard, a fighter soldier, a mage soldier, A clerk, or a worker in any of the community, or as fighters or mages during the war.
   When Jake heard this from the Headteacher, he didn't like it. They were all forced to work without their wish, some of them would maybe want to live a free life a normal life, but because of the rule set by the king, everyone must follow except of course the rich and the royals.
     Jake signed up for 3 important classes Mage class, the Martial art class, and Sword class. 
The first class of the day was Martial art class, before he went to it he told the system to record all important details and data so he could use them for practice later.
     'Good day students, my name is Floyd, and am your first-year Martial art teacher. You all have already been briefed on what it's all about so am not going to say much.
Martial arts are codified systems and traditions of combat practiced for several reasons such as self-defense; competition; physical, mental, and spiritual development; entertainment; and the preservation of a Terran intangible cultural heritage. Although it is considered Combat around all Terran, all I say is do your best and put more effort and I hope you all achieve your goals!'
    'Today we are going to be learning the
Defendo martial art is the most important thing you will need martial art and a self-defense system. It is a "non-boxing or wrestling" unarmed combat system that deals with defense.
You can easily render your more powerful enemy helpless with only a gentle clasp of the thumb and finger if you know the weak points, Brute strength is of little importance if you know the nerves of the human body."
   'Defendo consists of four leverage holds, five hand-grips, and 12 pressure points. You will have to avoid getting hit by your opponent. So am going to show you all how it is done, then you can go ahead and try it, I need a volunteer! '
 Floyd the teacher asked.
Nobody seems to be putting up his/her hands, so Jake then raised his hands. He went forward.
 'Good so what is your name young man?' Asked the teacher.
  'My name is Jake Sir'
'Ok Jake am going to show you how to defend yourself using your hands and then you will do exactly as I said defending yourself from my attacks! '
  Jake just nodded.
'Face your opponent and assume a relaxed fighting stance. Strike your opponent at shoulder height, as if aiming for the nose, jaw, or chin with your wrist bent back, fingertips slightly curled and thumb tightly pressed against your hand (not sticking out to the side). Go for the eyes and nose. If you have to end the fight as quickly as possible by striking first, strike hard, and strike as many times as you can. Getting ambushed in an alley by a mugger isn't the time to worry about fighting honorably, if you don't have made roots and can't use magic, you can keep yourself safe using or learning martial arts. Keep yourself safe by making the confrontation as quickly as possible.
   The teachers then immediately raised his legs and kicked Jake, Jake was left off guard so he fell everyone started laughing.
  'No need to laugh maybe this is your first time doing the defense, so a second chance will be given don't be left off guard again always focus on your opponent.
   The teacher then gave an ax kick Jake caught his legs and swung it back, then he hit the back of the teacher's neck.
  'Good! good! improvement, see students this is what a good martial artist looks like he learns from his mistakes, so now everyone choose a sparring partner and practice the defendo skill!'
 After the teacher said this he left the training hall. Everyone was going around looking for their sparing partners, Jake just stood there and soon he saw a boy his age heading towards him.
  'Hey my name is Anthony, would you like to be my sparring partner?'
  'Ok, no problem am Jake!' Jake said stretching his hands for a handshake.
   After martial arts class, Jake went to other regular classes and retired to his room given to each student in the academy.
   When he got in he was surprised to see that Anthony was his roommate with another guy who Jake didn't know.
  Anthony was happy to see him, 'Whats up Jake such a coincidence, we are sharing the same room, this is partrick and he is also our room mate!'
    The boy who was named Patrick just waved and smiled at Jake.
'His not much of a talker!' Anthony said
'Noted' Jake replied and they both laughed.
The next day Jake and his new roommates got ready for their compulsory class, it was a class in which everyone who has made root (natural potential of gaining magic powers) must attend.
     They all went inside the Mage training hall, and the teacher came and introduce herself. 'Good morning students my name is Mina and am your mage class instructor or teacher but you all can call me mina! '
 'She looks nice! ' Anthony said. Jake and Patrick both agreed because she was just smiling at all the students.
  'Today will be learning just the basics of magic, I will show you guys some types of magic skills which you can each learn if you become stronger! '
    'First of all, as some of you may know each kingdom has his or her respective type of mage Skills which makes them unique and different from others. The 1st kingdom has the Black mage skill, The 2nd kingdom has the Blue mage skill, The 3rd kingdom has crowd control mage skill, The 4th kingdom has the Green mage skill, The 5th kingdom which is ours has the Skill known as the Dark energy skill but since the last king died, it was lost as it was told that his offspring (his son) was also dead and it is only the direct descendants or first child of the king that gains the kingdom personal skill. 
   But since no one knows what happened to the late king's son the matter was forgotten and nobody talks about it, Arcadia has remained the weakest among all the other kingdoms because of the loss of Arcadia's skill.
    The 6th kingdom has The Red mage skill. All mages have the 4 elemental powers(water, fire, earth, and Air) Which are what every one of you has! '
   Many of the students were confused including Jake, he was getting a feeling that maybe he was related to the royal family but shoved the thought of his mind, he was just an average human who was from earth and just gained new power.
The teacher mina saw that lot of the students were confused.
    'If you want to learn more about the history and everything of this kingdom you will have to visit Arcadia academy Library but remember to bring a lot of money with you as the Library keeper charges 3000 bronze per hour as per the king's orders.

'And am a levitation mage as in that's my specialty, every mage tribe or village has his/her path or specialty that differentiate them from the other and my tribe's ability is levitation, we can lift our self from the grow and also other things.'.
   After the lesson Jake wanted to go and study more about Arcadia in the library but he was short of money he didn't have any and did not want to ask his new roommate for money he just met them and they knew themselves for just 2 days now.
   'Hey, guys please do you know how someone can get or work for money am kinda short on money!' Jake asked
   'If you want to get free money you can go for beast hunting, it's done in the group unless you are a strong mage or fighter. 
'Ok thanks!' Jake replied. He went inside the bathroom and asked the system to tell him everything about beast hunting.
   [System replying host...Each beast or creature killed has crystals in them, when killed host can take the beast's crystals and it can be used for making weapons or armor and also exchange for money depending on the beast you kill. The beast or creatures' powers are known through their ranks. There is:
 Primitive beasts or creatures
Mutant beasts or creatures

King tier beasts or creatures
Emperor tier beast or creatures
Demi-God beast or creatures
Demon beast or creatures]
  Jake was left stunned, the beast was much and each of them has different tiers or ranks.
  Jake made up his mind to go beast hunting the next day. He snuck out of the room in the night to go and train at the back part of Arcadia academy. He asked the system to keep the Scanner on so he could know if anyone is coming or watching him
The next day, it was a Saturday so Jake had to move on with his plans. He got up early and through the system, he found the place he was going to, East Haven valley.
According to the system, it was a very dangerous valley that was inhabited by lots of beasts. The system also added that it was a 2days journey to East Haven valley from Arcadia, so Jake just packed the food he will need for his journey. 
    After getting out of arcadia, he started waking to the direction in which the system said the valley was. After walking from time to time Jake stopped to rest and during the night he kept training.
 After 2days he got to East Haven valley, he put on the armor he burrowed from Anthony, it was a mutant beast armor. Anthony said it will help him and he will be protected.
   Jake wanted to rest but he saw something heading in his direction, he jumped up, he didn't know what kind of beast it was and it was far away coming towards him so he asked the system.
   'System what kind of beast is that? '
[System replying host...It's a blue wood Fox, a primitive type of beast that is commonly found anywhere, they are also called scavengers as they eat remains of other beasts]
   Jake then hid behind a rock, 'Since it's a primitive beast I can easily defeat it with my fire skill!' Jake thought to himself.
   The fox seems to stop just close by and it looks like a beast had died at the spot where the blue wood Fox stopped. It started feeding on the beast, Jake then sneaked and was coming towards the beast. The Blue wood Fox seems to be intelligent and also have a great sense of smell, it seemed to notice something was around and it started sniffing after some time of sniffing it looks to be satisfied and immediately started making strange noises, Jake just stood there watching after some time he started seeing more blue wood foxes coming towards the other blue wood Fox.
  Jake then understood what the Blue wood Fox was doing, it was calling for backup.
'Looks like you knew you were in danger too bad you will have to die!' Jake said and immediately rushed forward and threw fireballs at the Blue wood foxes, the foxes seem to notice the amount of danger coming their way, and they immediately dodged all the incoming fireballs.
  'Wow, how could they be so smart and skilled to dodge the fireballs I sent?'
[System replying host...The Blue wood Foxes are not just any ordinary beast, they have a special skill that helps them live long, it's called Bashir, and it's a type of skill that helps them slow down the movement of things. Depending on how strong each Blue wood Fox is the strong ones can even stop time.]
  Jake then thought that because of the Bashir skill they possess they were able to know where his fireballs were coming from. He suddenly got an idea.
  'Let us see if you all can doges dozens and dozens of fireballs!'
He started shooting more fireball after fireball, the Blue wood foxes tried dodging the fireballs, but some of them reach 3 of the foxes and they fell burnt. 
    The others seems to learn from it and they panicked and became scared, they started running, but Jake didn't let them he was chasing after then shooting more fireballs and he killed them.
   He then dragged the Blue wood foxes he chased to the place where the others were. He then took out his dagger and started carving out the beast's crystals.
  [Beast soul of Blue wood Fox gained, type Bashir.]

    'What but how?' Jake asked
[Host has a special type of potential in which killing some type of beast he could gain their Beast souls or their skills. Only a few are born with this kind of potential and are sorted all over Terran.]
Jake smiled, he now has the Bashir skill and it would be of help to him. After taking out all the beast crystals and putting them in his bag he got up and started walking more deep into the valley.
    He came across A bunny-like beast, he tried to use the dagger to kill it after he caught one, but as soon as the dagger was about to touch it, the bunny beast started increasing in size, it grew to a point where it was talker than Jake, it stopped growing but Jake knew it wasn't the end of its growth stage, he started running, but the bunny beast was hoping faster than him and immediately was at his front Jake didn't know what to do.
     He then started making a big fireball, it started small but immediately it was slowly growing and it became bigger than Jake. The bunny seeing this knew it was in danger and started hopping away, but Jake didn't let it go he threw the massive fireball at it and the bunny beast fell, then Jake took the dagger and rushed towards it and stabbed it. Immediately the system spoke.
 [ Mutant bunny beast killed, no beast soul gained. 60,000 points gained.

 [Host is evolving...The host is now a level 3 mage and level 2 fighter. Points remaining 20,000/500,000]
    Jake was a little disappointed, he only evolved to be a level 3 mage, but was still stuck as a level 2 fighter.
 'I need to also evolve to become a level 3 fighter and level 3 mage, I need to get stronger so I can find out the truth!'. Jake said to himself.
  He started heading back to Arcadia, on the way he encountered a more primitive beast, he killed all of them and took their beast crystals.
   After 2days of walking, he finally reached Arcadia.
