Juliet's car was long repaired but she always followed Luke. She was frowning in the car wondering how this guy had the nerve to let her drive on her own. Drive safely, she mumbled. Despite her annoyance, she still drove silently. She came out of the car in her white sleeveless dress and white loafers. Her hair was tied up above her head with a lip gloss on her pouting lips. She held her bag and paced into the office. Let's see what he has to say!

A popping sound jolted her and white glitters with colorful balloons fell from above. The workers were arranged in two lines spreading glitter and roses on the ground. At the end of the road, Luke stood there in a white shirt and black suit trousers holding a bouquet of white and pink rose flowers.
Juliet used her palm to cover her lips to hide her gasp. What a surprise! He planned out everything!
Luke walked over slowly.
"Have you seen her eyes? They're like glittering stars with unfathomable mysteries.
Have you heard her voice? Like heavenly music from a divine instrument.
Have you seen her gentle steps? As she walks into my warm embrace.
Even if you're blind, I will be your eyes.
We'll fly up to the skies, I will be your wings.
Anything you want, I'll be there to aid and don't ever think that I'll complain.
Say goodbye to loneliness.
I'm very sorry for my tardiness.

At the moment, Luke was already a few steps away from Juliet with a bright smile on his face. Juliet had a bashful smile as her glittering eyes exchanged contact with his.
"Juliet. You're the first girl to ever win my heart and the time I've been with you is the best moment of my life. ", he said softly. "I wanted this moment to be special for you. Will you be my girlfriend?", he asked softly holding the roses.
Juliet tilted her head and walked closer to him until they were inches apart.
"I already see you as my boyfriend and I wouldn't care even if you asked me casually. I am happy about this wonderful performance, really. As for being your girlfriend, do you even need to ask? I'm yours already.", she said gently and took the bouquet of roses.
Luke looked over the moon and shook her shoulders. "You mean yes?", he asked excitedly.
"That's what I mean......", she starts saying when he hugged her waist and raised her twirling her around. "She said Yes!"
"Yes! Yes! Congratulations!", the small crowd erupted into cheers. The relationship between the two managers was already noticed in the company all this time and everyone was happy and envious of the couple.
"This is so great!", Luke laughed as he held her tightly. "I know but I'm getting dizzy." Juliet held his shoulder smiling bashfully.
"Thanks, everyone. Go back to work! We'll be closing early today.", Luke stated aloud and rushed upstairs with Juliet.
Upon entering his office with Juliet, Luke closed the door and kept her down slowly.
"You're finally my girlfriend now. I can announce to the whole world that you.....are my Julie.", he said fervently.
"Why are you so excited?", Juliet mumbled blushing with her head down. Seeing her bashful appearance, Luke snickered and kissed her lips more passionately than ever. Juliet's body was weak all over that she dropped the bouquet and her purse holding his neck tightly. It was like the two were venting their hidden feelings and when they separated, they were gasping for air.
"I feel free and at ease with you Julie. ", Luke said softly with his eyes closed grasping her face with his palms.
Juliet opened her eyes and stared at his peaceful and calm face. "I feel the same too.", she whispered and kissed his lips. Luke opened his eyes and they stared at each other smiling. Juliet closed her eyes and embraced his back. Luke placed his head on her shoulder holding her gently.
Juliet parted her lips and spoke silently,
"Do you know that you're the only one? The lover of my life, the only one my heart beats for. I love you with all of my heart, more than I love my life. I will never leave you."
"All my life, I've been waiting for you. Now that I have you, I give it to you. ", Luke said quietly. The office was quiet as the two lovebirds enjoyed each other's embrace. It was moments later that they separated.
"Are you happy?", Luke asked holding her hands.
"Elated.", Juliet smiled.
"I can't believe you're my girlfriend friend now!", he laughed and held his waist.
"I don't get why you're so excited when we've been together for some time now.", Juliet said pouting.
"It's different. I can now say, this is my girlfriend, Juliet.", he said and looked down picking up her purse and the rose. "You dropped these.", he teased.
Juliet grabbed them from his hand and blushed. "It's all your fault."
"My fault now?" Luke asked innocently.
Juliet ignored him and stroked her flowers gently.  "Speaking of which." She raised her head and looked at him.
"What did you do to me last night?"
Luke smiled wryly. She doesn't forget anything. Juliet dropped her purse and the roses before facing him with a   quizzical look.
"What's there to ask?" He pulled her and sat on the chair placing her on his lap.
"Even my alarm didn't wake me up, you have to tell me." She added with pleading eyes.
Luke chuckled lightly and explained, "I wanted to surprise you, so I planned all this and wanted you to feel special. You wake up early every day that's why......", he coughed dryly and continued, "I added a little sleeping pill in that punch. Added to all the drinks you had, you fell asleep deeply. "
"Oh. That's it?", Juliet squinted her eyes and asked.
"What are you thinking of?" Luke rubbed her cheek and said, "when you got giddy yesterday, you took off your shirt."
"You're lying!", Juliet snapped.
"I'm not really." Luke's eyes widened.
"That......I do take off my shirt before I sleep.", she muttered.
"See. You must have taught you were in your room.", Luke pointed out.
"But you .......didn't do anything," Juliet said quietly blinking her eyes.
Luke smiled and answered, " You weren't yourself at that time and I can't take advantage of you. If something were to happen between us, I will prefer you to be awake and sane. Of course, if you had taken off your vest....."
"Hey! What are you saying?", she slapped his hand but was still happy. "I would prefer being awake too.", she whispered.
"That's right.", Luke nodded vigorously. "We are both awake now. How about...."
"Stop spouting nonsense!"Juliet quickly closed his lips as her eyelashes trembled.
Luke pulled her hand down and raised his eyebrows. "Weren't you the one who said that once we're official, I can kiss you when I want?"
"You know who else would be excited when they hear this news?", Juliet ignored him and asked.
"Yeah. Yeah. My sister.", he curled his lips and returned.
"I'll give her a call.", Juliet smiled and took her phone.
