It was my dad. He came home drunk again. Why am I being forced to watch this all over again? I stood there watching from afar. My little body trembled. My mom put the chicken salad she made on the table. He picked it up and smashed it on he ground. "What is this?" He yelled. "Why don't you ever make something edible." My mom jumped."I would, but we have no money."His head snapped into her direction."Whose fault is that? Mine."he growled. He got up and charged towards my mother. I got up and pulled at his arm. "No daddy. No." He slapped me. I started to cry. He grabbed my mother by her hair. She screamed. I just huddled in the corner crying. He pushed her against the counter. He held her down and punched her repeatedly. Jacob comes in and drags him off of her. She is bleeding, she's not moving. Jacob punched him and his jaw started to bleed. He was about fifteen at the time. My dad got up onto his feet and walked towards me. My brother started self-defense classes because of my father. My dad caressed my face. His hand started to move down slowly. "You're my special girl. Aren't you?" I started to bawl uncontrollably. Jacob pulled him back and picked me up. "Get the hell out of here!" He yelled. "And don't you ever touch her, you filthy bastard." He left. He helped my mom up and led her to the couch. He took me to his room and sat me on his bed. "Stay here, you know what to do if anyone comes in." He left. He had to go to work. He worked two jobs to help out. I remember later that night hearing a banging at the door. I walk to the end of the hall and peak around the corner. It's my dad he's back and he is not alone. My mom tries to close the door but they force it open. They pushed her down onto the couch. They all were on top of her. I shut my eyes and covered my ears to try and block out her screams. I guess I was sobbing to loud. They walk towards my direction. I see this all happening and I can't do anything. "Don't go near her. Stop it." I yell but still they can't hear me. I see my younger self run down the hall. I run into my brothers room. I follow closely behind. I knew what was next. I hid in the closet. My brother had a lock installed on the inside of his door because of my dad. I locked my self in, I was trembling. They banged and hit the door I thought it would break. I look around and find the pistol my brother had hidden in his shoebox. I grab ahold of it. The door is pried opened. I close my eyes and pull the trigger. I do it again and again. I did exactly as Jacob had once taught me. I open my eyes and my dad is laying on the floor. I drop the pistol and crawled to his lifeless body. I shake him. "Wake up. Wake up." There is blood all over my hands and clothes. My mom walks in. "You little bitch." She yells."What did you do? It's your fault he doesn't want me!" I was crying. "Mommy I'm sorry." Her night gown was all torn and she had blood dripping down her legs. She picked up the pistol."Mommy!" She put it to her head and she pulled the trigger without a second thought. Her blood splattered on my face. I don't remember ever seeing so much blood in my life. I sat there and cried. The younger me looked at me. She could see me. "Why did you do this to me?" I look down and the pistol is in my hand and I'm covered in blood. She keeps repeating it. Louder and louder. "Stop it! Stop! I didn't mean it. I'm sorry." I screamed."Stop it!" "Jade, wake up! Wake up it's ok its just a dream." Harry is shaking me. I'm drenched in sweat. All eyes were on me. It was more than just a dream. It was a memory. It was the day I became an orphan. The day I killed my parents. "Jade are you ok?" Niall asks me concerned. I nod."I'm fine just a bad dream. That's all." "Are you sure?" Harry repeated. I change the subject."Where are we exactly?" Liam looks at me skeptically. "An amusement park." "I thought you said we would do something in town?" I commented. "It's in the spirit of the town." Louis defended. "Wait people are here." I said. "Course what kind of amusement park would it be if there were no people?" Niall chuckled. "But won't it be hard since you all... you know... like famous?" "That's why they have these." Demonstrated Harry. I look and there are glasses, fake mustaches, and large trench coats. I started to laugh. They all stared at me. "Oh, you guys are serious." Harry put on a pair of sunglasses and pulled at his lip ring. Louis puts on some sunglasses and a mustache. Niall put some regular glasses and a baseball cap. Liam put on a grey hoodie and some glasses. He pulled the hood up over his head. They weren't much of disguises. I was wearing a black and white striped, long sleeved shirt that clung to my body, some light blue jeans and some brown boots. They had got to be kidding but I humored them. We got in line and people kept staring at us. We are an odd bunch. I didn't bring anything but my phone so I didn't have money for a ticket Those punks. They planned this. Harry paid for all of us. I glared at him and he gave me a smirk. It took us forever to get in, the lines were so long. In front of the entrance was a pond, water shot up. Someone grasped my shoulder and turned me around.
