Darcie was talking to Chloe with a Alicia( one of her room mates) when she ran to the restroom and the girls could hear her flush, she came back and held her tummy
"Darcie this is 9th time you you wander yo the bathroom to vomit, what's wrong?? Chloe asked
"Its nothing" she replied
"Or hope its not what am thinking?? Alicia said and Darcie glance at her
"And may I ask, what you're thinking??
"When last did you see your period?? 
"Aish.....come on, its because of the food I ate so stop having evil thought?? Darcie snapped then her phone bleeps, it was a text message from Esme
            .. Darcie am sorry I missed your calls but are you sure you're gonna resign

Darcie looked at Alicia and Chloe then she excuse herself 
          .. Yea am going to resign my job today" she texted back but Esme didn't reply, she sigh and then her phone bleeps again but this time, the message was from Clark, she recall giving him her number when he was about going
  .. meet me at the main gate" he texted and Darcie didn't know whether to go or not but she see that everywhere was clear so she quickly pass the other route until she got out, she saw a white car parked and there he was, resting on the car,
Clark paused, savoring the sight of her in the streaked light of evening, he moved to her without haste and smiled
"I hope I didn't put you in trouble" he asked
"Not at all" she replied
"Actually I wanted to show you this" he said and brought out an absurdly romantic stunning necklace with a little note telling me how beautiful and irresistible I am, I looked at it and I was speechless
"I want to play this game without not hurting him but how am I gonna do that, I pray I never regret this afterwards"she thought
"What did you say?? You like it??"
"I....I...." She gulped and swallowed
"If you don't like it, I can change it" he said and Darcie shook her head
"I love it" 
Clark smiled and proceed to put it around her neck but Darcie move back making Clark look stunned
"What is it??
"Am sorry Clark, I love the necklace but as you can see I have a pendant around my neck, I promise myself never to take it off, its a special gift from someone close to me" 
"Ohhh..." He said looking Disappointed but he fake a smile instead " don't worry about it" he said 
"U hmm....I should be going I will text you later" she said and dash off

Darcie went to Mrs smith and greeted her
"Evening Ma'am"
"Darcie how're you dear??"
"Am fine ma'am" she replied
"How can I thank you enough, for changing Keith, you've done me a huge favor which no one has ever done" she smiled 
"I didn't Change him but he was the one who change himself but actually I came here to discuss something with you" 
"What can that be??
Darcie have her a letter and when Mrs smith looked at it, she was stunned to see that it was a resignation letter
"Darcie what is this?? She sounds angry
"Am sorry ma'am but am thinking of quitting my job, I know you've really try for me and I appreciate it, my dad is in prison and I have the reason why am quitting, plss" she knelt down
"But Keith is no more mistreating you and when did you start working here that you're thinking of quitting, if its about your dad then am gonna ask him released"
"Ma'am I will be happy if you do that but that doesn't change my decision" 
Mrs Smith sigh and didn't say anything
"Pls ma'am, I really appreciate you for sending me to school and for being supportive but pls try and understand me??
"How will I understand you when i don't even  the reason you're leaving" Mrs smith blurted then after some time, she sign the letter and gave it to her

Darcie waited for Keith to be back to bid him farewell but when he didn't show up, she decided to leave since Esme promise to pick her up at the second street and also Mrs Dalton has travelled, she stood for some hours and then a car park in front of her and Esme came down, she hugged her and she went inside the car
" Sonia how come you decided too quick" Esme asked
"Esme can you pls drive?? Am not in mood to talk" she said and Esme started the car and drove off

When they got to Esme house,it was apparent as Darcie was led through the house, she was taken to a room which Esme said its gonna be hers, the room was painted purple her favorite colour and the bed was covered with a yellow daisy spread looking faded and I'll chosen
"Er....I wasn't sure what you'd like put out" Esme said
She looked at the dresser, it was filled with so Many jewelries and what caught her attention was Suzanne picture that was hung on the wall, she stare at it as tears roll down her cheeks
"That was one of her picture I have with me" Esme said. Abruptly, Darcie spun and hugged her
"Thank you so much Esme" she said and Esme gently pat her back
"You're welcome"

Keith got home and went to his room straight away, he dial Darcie number but it was switched off, so decided to use the metal phone, he selected M and dial it
"Hello I need my personal maid right away" he said and hang up, he smiled to himself, he wanted to tell her that he has bail her dad out just then the doorbell rang and he quickly unlock it with the remote but to his surprise, a young pretty slim girl came
"Yes master" she bow her head
"Am sorry but I didn't call you"
"Yea but am your new personal maid that Mrs smith assigned, I heard that the formal maid has resigned today" she said and Keith was shocked
"What?? Resigned??" He said looking stunned and the maid nodded

In the night, Keith sat on his sofa and kept wondering why Darcie resign, his chest started to ache as he started coughing, he went to the drawer and brought out his drugs

Darcie couldn't sleep as she tossed round the bed, she didn't know why she kept thinking of Keith, she was glad that her phone was switched off if not, she knew he would have been pestering her with phone calls and text messages
                       (THE NEXT DAY)
Darcie was going out, she locked the door and to her surprise she see Keith, the look on his face was anger and the other, she didn't know, before she could alter a word, Keith strong hand grasped hers, she try to free her herself from his grip but couldn't
"Keith let go off me.....you're hurting me" she yelled but Keith turn deaf ears to her as he dragged her to his car, he open the door, pushed her and slammed the door, he got in through the driver's side and started the engine
"Stop the car instantly where are you taking me to?? Darcie shouted " I quit working for you so you don't have right over me so stop this dumb fucking car and let me go" she said but Keith didn't answer as he increase the speed
"Are you deaf??
"Shut up" Keith shouted as his face turned red with rage as he controlled the urge of releasing his anger on her, Darcie was stunned and she coldly look away

After what seems like an hour, they finally got to their destination and Darcie could see that he brought her to a quiet place near to the bridge, he open the door and went to the other side and drag her out
"Keith what the hell has gotten over you?? Darcie asked
"You wanna know uhn.....what makes you think you can leave me and stop working for me?? Keith asked
"So you brought me here to talk about that, isn't that what you always wish for, you've always want me to leave that house and I finally fulfill you wish, you win and I lose" she said and Keith kept staring at her
"How did you even know I live there"
Keith shut his eyes and opened it " Darcie if you're still angry at me for demolishing your father's restaurant, I already apologise and also   I decided to build another one for him, the building is under construction and lastly I got your dad released today" he said and Darcie was surprised
"You what??
"I got him released, I know you........
"Thanks" Darcie said cutting him short " can you pls take me back home"
" what the hell is wrong with you, am doing everything as you wished and I even change my attitude because of you"
"I never ask you to change your behavior and also it will be better if you will go back to the old Keith and stop pestering me around"
Keith find it too hard to believe if Darcie was the one saying all this "so you think if I go back to my old self, I won't make you come back working for me"
"Cut it out Keith"
"Darcie I promise to do anything you say just pls come back" he said and Darcie kept looking at him, after what seemed to her an eternity, she cleared her throat
"Fine you said you're gonna do anything I say then jump into that river" Darcie said and hissed before walking away but then she stop when she heard a splash, she turned and couldn't see Keith, that is when she realised that he has jump into the river
"How can you be so dumb?? She muttered and start yelling his name "Keith Keith Keith" she began to tremble when she couldn't see any sign of him, she off and threw away her jacket then she also jump into the river, she was surprised when she couldn't see him
"Keith Keith" she screamed out loudly and she dived into the water once more, after some minutes, she pull out her head and scream out his name

Keith on the other hand was finding it too difficult to breath in the water as his leg was trapped under a rock in the water, he tried to get to get himself freed but couldn't then he slowly close his eyes as everything was getting blur, he could hear Darcie calling him but he couldn't say anything, he then shut his eyes completely

Darcie gave in to the tears that she had been holding back as she was getting scared, she look the wide river and cried out loud
"Keith Keith where are you?? She sobbed as she dive in the water again but she couldn't find a trace of him, she lost control as she screamed his name louder
"Keeeeeeeeeeith!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
