The group stood there, panting.
The trainer grinned. "Not bad. You survived."
Jax, still lying on the ground, groaned. "Barely."
Lucienne, chilling on a rock, nodded. "L + ratio + stay mad."
Kaela, wiping sweat off her forehead, muttered, "Why do we always end up nearly dying?"
Sienna shrugged. "Character development."
Elara, who had been quietly standing there, whispered, "I think my legs are shaking."
Sylas sighed. "Alright, now that we passed, what’s next?"
The trainer, still grinning, clapped his hands together. "Now the real training begins."
Silence.
Jax blinked. "HELLO??"
Lucienne, already walking away, muttered, "Nuh uh. I quit."
Kaela grabbed her. "BRO. YOU CAN’T LEAVE."
Lucienne, deadpan, sighed. "Bet."
---
Welcome to the Training Arc
The next morning, the real nightmare began.
The trainer, standing in front of them, smirked. "Today, we start with endurance training."
Jax, immediately, raised his hand. "Can we skip that?"
The trainer ignored him.
Lucienne, whispering, muttered, "Pain."
The trainer continued. "First, you must run ten laps around the field."
Jax froze. "…Excuse me?"
Elara, hopeful, asked, "Is that optional?"
The trainer laughed. "No."
Sienna, grinning, stretched. "Bet. Let’s go."
Jax collapsed. "I am already tired."
Sylas sighed. "Just run."
Jax, dragging himself up, muttered, "This is actual cruelty."
Lucienne nodded. "Unpaid labor."
The trainer clapped his hands. "Go."
And they ran.
---
Lap 1: The Struggle Begins
Kaela, actually trying, kept a steady pace.
Elara, already panting, gasped. "How—how are you all running so fast?"
Lucienne, jogging next to her, whispered, "I’m not. I’m just built different."
Jax, suffering, groaned. "I wanna go home."
Sylas, focused, ignored them all.
Sienna, laughing, yelled, "Y’ALL ARE SO WEAK."
Jax, tripping over a rock, screamed, "I HATE IT HERE."
Lucienne, watching him eat dirt, muttered, "L moment."
---
Lap 5: Actual Death
Jax, crawling, whispered, "Water… I need… water…"
Elara, barely keeping up, wheezed, "How… are we not… dead yet…?"
Kaela, focused, wiped sweat from her forehead. "Mind over matter."
Lucienne, still jogging casually, smirked. "Weak."
Sienna, laughing, sprinted past them. "Imagine dying from cardio."
Jax, glaring, gasped, "I hope your shoelace gets untied."
Sienna, grinning, said, "Joke’s on you. I don’t have laces."
Lucienne smirked. "Skill issue."
Jax cried.
---
Lap 10: The Aftermath
Jax collapsed.
Elara collapsed.
Kaela sat down, panting.
Lucienne was completely fine.
Sylas wiped sweat from his forehead. "Done."
Sienna, grinning, yelled, "WARM-UP COMPLETE."
Jax, glaring, whispered, "I will end you."
The trainer smirked. "Good. Now for part two."
Jax screamed. "PART WHAT??"
The trainer ignored him. "Next, you will each learn how to use your abilities properly."
Lucienne sighed. "Finally."
Sylas nodded. "That’s more reasonable."
The trainer grinned. "You’ll do it while dodging arrows."
Silence.
Elara, horrified, whispered, "Arrows??"
Jax, hysterical, gasped, "BRO, EXCUSE ME??"
The trainer pulled out a bow. "Yes."
Lucienne, smirking, whispered, "I respect the grind."
Jax grabbed her shoulders. "YOU ARE A MENACE."
The trainer aimed. "Begin."
An arrow flew past Jax’s head.
Jax screamed. "HELP."
Kaela, dodging, focused. "Okay, okay. We can do this."
Lucienne, chill as ever, dodged like it was nothing. "Just move, bruh."
Elara, panicking, yelped. "THIS IS NOT LEGAL."
Jax, rolling on the ground, yelled, "BRO THIS IS NOT A GAME."
The trainer smirked. "It is now."
Sylas, dodging effortlessly, muttered, "At least we’re learning."
Jax, barely avoiding death, screamed, "NO WE’RE NOT."

The “Training” Continues
Hours later—
Jax lay on the ground, traumatized.
Elara sat next to him, emotionally done.
Kaela wiped her forehead. "That was… horrible."
Lucienne, stretching, smirked. "That was fun."
Sylas shook his head. "You’re insane."
Sienna, laughing, patted Jax’s shoulder. "Good job, man."
Jax glared. "I hate you."
The trainer, smirking, crossed his arms. "Not bad. You might actually survive in this world."
Jax sighed. "I miss WiFi."
Lucienne nodded. "Relatable."
Elara, still recovering, muttered, "I just want to sleep."
The trainer grinned. "Great. Now let’s start the real training."
Jax, horrified, whispered, "This was FAKE??"
The trainer smiled. "Welcome to Day 1."
Jax screamed.
---
Jax lay on the ground. Motionless. Defeated. Absolutely done with life.
Lucienne, standing over him, smirked. "Skill issue."
Kaela nudged him with her foot. "Is he dead?"
Sienna, sipping water, shrugged. "He’s just taking a skill issue nap."
Elara, sitting nearby, muttered, "Mood."
Sylas, who was actually paying attention, sighed. "Enough. The trainer’s coming back."
Jax, perking up immediately, gasped. "No, wait—"
The trainer appeared out of nowhere, grinning. "Hope you’re all rested! Time for the next challenge!"
Silence.
Lucienne, expression blank, whispered, "I hate it here."
---
The “New” Training
The trainer smirked. "Since you all survived the warm-up—"
Jax, raising his hand, interrupted. "We BARELY survived."
The trainer ignored him. "It’s time for survival training."
Elara, blinking, asked, "What do you mean by survival?"
The trainer smiled. "You’ll be dropped in the middle of nowhere."
Jax sat up so fast. "EXCUSE ME??"
Sienna grinned. "Sounds fun."
Jax, horrified, grabbed her arm. "NO, IT DOES NOT."
Lucienne, nodding, smirked. "I respect the chaos."
Kaela, concerned, muttered, "Wait. Like, actually nowhere?"
Sylas, sighing, asked, "And what’s the goal?"
The trainer grinned. "Survive."
Jax, gripping his chest, gasped. "SIR."
The trainer continued. "I’ll come back for you in a week."
Elara froze. "A WEEK??"
Jax, on the verge of tears, whispered, "I want to go home."
Lucienne patted his back. "No home. Only pain."
Sienna laughed. "I love this."
Kaela sighed. "Fine. Let’s get this over with."
The trainer smirked. "Good. See you in seven days."
And before they could react—
---
Welcome to the Wilderness
They were suddenly teleported into the middle of nowhere.
Jax screamed.
Lucienne, looking around, shrugged. "Nice."
Elara panicked. "Where—where are we??"
Kaela, examining the area, muttered, "A forest, obviously."
Sylas, already thinking, sighed. "Alright. First, we need shelter."
Jax, still on the ground, gasped. "I CAN’T BELIEVE HE JUST YEETED US HERE."
Sienna laughed. "We ball."
Lucienne, smirking, whispered, "No thoughts. Just vibes."
Jax, shaking his head, whispered, "I hate it here."
---
Step One: Finding Food (A.K.A. The Struggle Begins)
Kaela, focused, muttered, "Alright, we should look for food."
Lucienne nodded. "Bet."
Sienna immediately climbed a tree.
Jax, watching in horror, gasped. "BRO, WHAT??"
Sienna, chilling on a branch, grinned. "Scouting."
Elara, panicking, asked, "How do you even know how to climb a tree??"
Sienna shrugged. "I’m just built different."
Jax sighed. "I hate all of you."
Kaela, ignoring them, looked at some bushes. "Maybe we can find berries."
Lucienne, walking past her, smirked. "Hope they’re not poisonous."
Jax froze. "EXCUSE ME?"
Lucienne grinned. "Skill issue if you die."
Jax, horrified, took a step back. "I’m not eating ANYTHING."
Elara, still worried, muttered, "I don’t want to eat poison."
Sylas sighed. "Then we hunt."
Silence.
Jax froze again. "I BEG YOUR PARDON?"
Kaela nodded. "Yeah, that makes sense."
Lucienne, grinning, cracked her knuckles. "Time for violence."
Jax, panicking, gasped. "NO, WAIT—"
---
Step Two: The Hunting Disaster
Sylas, already prepared, picked up a stick. "We’ll need weapons."
Lucienne, smirking, whispered, "Or we could just punch the animals."
Jax looked at her like she was insane. "DO YOU HEAR YOURSELF??"
Sienna, still in the tree, called out, "I see a deer!"
Kaela, focused, nodded. "Perfect."
Elara, whispering, gasped. "We’re really doing this?"
Lucienne, already walking forward, smirked. "Time to commit war crimes."
Jax, gripping his head, whispered, "We are NOT normal."
Sienna, grinning, called out, "Jax, go get it."
Jax, betrayed, screamed, "WHY ME??"
Lucienne patted his back. "Main character energy."
Jax, tearing up, whispered, "I hate it here."
Sylas sighed. "We’ll all go."
And so, the hunt began.
---
Step Three: The “Cooking” Catastrophe
Somehow, they actually caught something.
Jax, traumatized, sat there. "I don’t want to talk about it."
Lucienne, smirking, whispered, "Character development."
Kaela, starting a fire, nodded. "Alright. Who knows how to cook?"
Silence.
Jax froze. "Wait."
Sienna, grinning, whispered, "Oh no."
Elara, horrified, gasped. "None of us… know how to cook?"
Lucienne shrugged. "Skill issue."
Jax, gripping his chest, whispered, "We are going to die."
Sylas, already focused, muttered, "We’ll figure it out."
Sienna, grabbing a stick, smirked. "Worst case, we eat it raw."
Jax screamed. "NO, WE DO NOT."
Lucienne, watching the chaos, whispered, "This is my favorite timeline."
---
Step Four: Sleeping Arrangements (A.K.A. More Suffering)
By some miracle, they actually cooked something edible.
Jax, eating, sighed. "This is the worst day of my life."
Lucienne, grinning, whispered, "And it’s only Day 1."
Jax cried.
Kaela, building a makeshift shelter, muttered, "We need somewhere to sleep."
Elara, already laying on the ground, whispered, "This is fine."
Sylas, shaking his head, sighed. "No, it’s not."
Lucienne, chilling, smirked. "Adapt or perish."
Jax, panicking, screamed, "WHY ARE YOU SO CALM??"
Sienna, stretching, yawned. "I call dibs on the tree."
Jax, on the verge of breaking down, whispered, "I miss my bed."
Lucienne patted his back. "No bed. Only pain."
Jax screamed into the void.
