Blair walked quickly away from the woman she had just accidentally bumped into. Blair found a quiet place out of sight of people to calm down. While running, Blair's eye caught the movement of Carlos and Marco, secretly watching her while pretending to shop at one of the distros. When the two bodyguards were unconscious, Blair quickly slipped away and blended in with the other shoppers. She reached the farthest elevator and punched all the numbers as long as it took her as far as possible from the woman she had previously bumped into. "Why is she here? Of all the people, why did I have to meet her here? She can't see me." In the elevator Blair is alone. She stood long enough for the elevator door to open and arrived at a deserted floor. Blair realized that she had reached the top floor of the mall building. After getting out of the elevator, there was nothing but the fire escape that led to the rooftop. Blair looked around to make sure no one was following her. She was relieved to be completely alone. She needed time to calm her chaotic thoughts and feelings. Slowly, Blair stepped toward the fire escape and pushed with all her might. Blair thought the fire escape was locked. Apparently not. The door opened quickly, and Blair began walking up the steps one at a time to the roof. The snow had started to subside, although white mounds were still on the roof. The concrete floor felt wet and slippery. The cold wind immediately hit Blair's body and made her almost freeze. The warm coat she was wearing barely protected Blair from the chills. "You're avoiding me, Blair Tanzel?" Blair jumped in surprise. When she turned around, she didn't think Katy had caught up with her onto the roof. Her classmate and former best friend smiled knowingly as if Katy had caught the big game this time. "Your life is happy now? You don't want to greet me." Katy started walking toward Blair. On the roof of the building, Blair shook her head as she backed away slowly. She tried to avoid Katy's reach. Occasionally Blair's feet almost slipped because of the slippery concrete floor. Katy smiled and made an angelic face as if she cared about Blair. "I know the last time we were on the phone, I was rough on you. Blair, I'm so sorry. I can explain. It was just a misunderstanding between us." "Stop!" Blair exclaimed shakily. "Don't come to me! I don't know you anymore. I don't want anything to do with you either. Go! Don't come to me!" Blair shouted louder. At first, Katy showed a concerned face and a knowing smile. But, when she gets rejected by Blair, Katy suddenly shows her true devil face. She started pouting and grinning and looking down at Blair. "You think you're great just because you wear expensive clothes and bags? After leaving home and school, you sold yourself to get all of this, Blair?" Blair was nervous. She tried to hide the Dior bag in her hand. "Is luck on your side?" quipped Katy. "Are you now the mistress of a rich old man? I saw you with a handsome, rich man. Is he your boyfriend?" Blair's face paled, not from the chilly weather but from Katy's words that had cut deep into her heart. Blair didn't recognize Katy at all. She is entirely different. Maybe all this time, Blair didn't realize who Katy was. Every word that came out of Katy's mouth at this time was like a sharp dagger. Katy approached Blair. Faster and faster until Blair has no more room to dodge. Katy grabbed the hem of the coat worn by Blair was checking the label. "Crazy! I knew this was a famous designer's limited edition winter coat. You're also wearing the latest Dior bag! How did you get it? Share your secret with me. After tricking Andrew, are you used to it now that you level up your skills by flirting with rich men in New York?" "Stop!" whispered Blair softly. "Stop... stop... stop...!" shouted Blair very loudly. Katy brushed her long hair back and crossed her arms. "How can I stop all this? You're having fun here, leaving school, and enjoying all these luxuries? Do you think I'll just shut up? You must be laughing at me for only getting Andrew. While you are here having fun with handsome and rich men." Blair's head felt like it would explode. She covered her ears with her hands tightly. Makes it even crazier, and wants to explode. "Does that rich man know that you are pregnant?" She grinned. Just then, Blair's eyes opened wide. There was anger and a strong desire to get Katy out of her sight right then and there. The urge was powerful and bubbling up in Blair's chest. She felt the same impulse when she gripped the glass in her hand until it crumbled into small pieces. "Leave me alone, Katy. Before I go too far and make you regret it." Katy burst out laughing. "So what can you do? Crying and whining like on the phone that time? You begged and complained to me that Andrew tricked you. You're also going to do the same this time?" "Stop it, Katy. I beg you," Blair said in a hissing voice. "Don't go too far. You've crossed the line." "It looks like my decision to spend my winter break in New York was the right one. I would never have met you if I hadn't been on vacation here. Well, Blair, I thought I saw someone else. I doubt it and want to make sure. That's why I kept following you while at the mall. You went into a baby store. That convinced me even more that it was you." Blair was getting nervous and panicked. "Axel must not hear this conversation." Blair looked behind Katy several times for the emergency exit and saw no one appear there. Blair is most afraid of right now if Katy turns out to come with Andrew. Blair could not face the man who had injured hurt her and might even have left a baby in her stomach. Blair dismissed the thought. Until now, Blair is still unsure who the biological father of the baby she carries is. Katy said that night she was with Andrew. However, Katy could have lied to Blair and wanted to confuse her. Blair walked and tried to leave Katy. But Katy immediately grabbed Blair's shoulder and dragged the girl not to leave. "I never said you could leave here. Our business is not finished. You will continue to overshadow my life and happiness as long as you are still around." Blair's eyes flashed sharply. "You've taken everything from me, Katy. You have taken away my youth and my future. What else do you want? I've walked away from your life. Why are you still bothering me? Even you said that maybe the baby I'm carrying is not Andrew's child. Doesn't that satisfy you yet?" Katy suddenly grabbed Blair's hair. The girl screamed. A feeling of heat shot up her scalp. "What do you want, bastard? You have ruined my life. You have destroyed my life. Is this suffering still not enough for your happiness?" Katy's eyes bulged. "I will never be satisfied as long as I see you happy, Blair. You are always pampered and surrounded by people who love you. It really makes me jealous. Your life is too perfect for me. And you are indeed a little whore, just like your mom who goes around every night begging for money and affection from men." Blair's teeth chattered violently. She can accept when she is humiliated and hurt. However, she couldn't get that her mother's good name was being reduced and damaged. Blair's cell phone rang just as she was about to hit Katy. Their attention was diverted to the incessant ringing of the cell phone. Blair was starting to worry if it was Axel who had contacted her. "Is your love starting to lose you?" quipped Katy. The girl pushed Blair onto the cold concrete floor. Then Katy grabbed Blair's bag to find her cell phone. "Stop!"
