Chapter 21

Dylan hastily returns to the villa while Gaby is unconscious. When the gang noticed them, they rushed to open the door.
“What happened to her?” Sasha inquired.
Dylan didn’t react because he went right to the room where Belle was following him and opened the door. Gaby was quickly tucked into bed by Dylan. She hasn’t woken up yet. Dylan had a worried expression on his face.
“Hey, Dylan, what happened?” Belle inquired.
Dylan looks around the bedroom for Gaby’s phone but can’t find it. “Can you tell me where her phone is?“ Dylan asked.
His friends are confused and alarmed because he is panicking. When Ashlee entered the room, she handed the phone to Dylan. He looked at her as if to interrogate why she was holding Gaby’s phone.
“She left it on the couch,” Ashlee explained.
It’s a good thing Gaby’s phone doesn’t have a password. Dylan phoned the number right away and walked out of the room’s terrace.
“What the hell happened, man?” Matt inquired of Clark, who stood just outside the bedroom door.
“I’m not sure.“ Clark was upset as well, “As she lost consciousness while running towards me.”
Clark is irritated because he isn’t hurting Gaby, yet it’s as if Gaby’s unconsciousness is his fault.
Ashlee, Sasha, and Belle sat at Gaby’s bedside, holding her hand. Riki enquired, “Why is Dylan so worried?”
“I’m scared! We don’t know what is happening!” Sasha exclaimed.
Dylan returned to them afterward. He had a stern expression on his face. “Pack your belongings and get ready; we’re returning to university,” Dylan said.
Nobody inquired, and they quickly exited the room and began packing.
******
Only Sasha and an unconscious Gaby remain inside Dylan’s car. The rest of the passengers were in the other car. Dylan keeps an eye on Sasha and Gaby. Gaby’s father informs him that an ambulance was on its way to take her off-campus.

“Are you certain?” Belle asked.
“Holy crap, Belle!” exclaims Clark. “You keep asking the same thing over and over!“ It irritated Clark.
Belle responded quietly, “I’m just asking.” Everyone was staring at each other. Everyone was jittery.
Clark walked directly to his room when they got to the campus. Clark advised Matt to put his car in the garage. He collapsed on the bed and simply tossed his bag to the side. He takes a deep breath and closes his eyes.
‘What the hell happened to her?’ Clark thought.
Clark couldn’t help but be worried. Almost everyone was anxious and bewildered at Dylan’s reaction.
‘What makes Dylan act like that?’ Clark thought.
Gaby had been cheerful earlier. She can also sprint quickly and has shouted into the sea. It baffled him as to why she had fainted.
******
Before the car approached the university, the ambulance met Dylan’s car. Gaby was quickly boarded, and Sasha was not even allowed to escort her inside the ambulance.
Dylan just contacted Gaby’s father, Tito Carlos, and informed him of the situation. It instructed him to keep an eye on Gaby’s condition and return her to their university, where she would be met by an ambulance.
His pals awaited him when he returned to the student village. They seemed to be worried, as well. There was no sign of Clark.
“Can you tell us what happened and where she is?“ Belle asked.
“An ambulance took her,” Sasha explained.
“Oh, my god! What happened to her? Dylan, what makes you so worried?“ Ashlee inquired.
“Who wouldn’t be startled if Gaby suddenly passed out? She’s always so lively,” Riki explained.
“All well, let it rest for a while. We will go to our apartment.“ Dylan stated.
As the females walked into the apartment, Dylan, Riki, and Matt walked home. Dylan walked directly to the kitchen and sat on the dining chair with a drink. Both of them, Matt and Riki, took a seat and glanced at Dylan.
“She’ll be OK, won’t she?“ Matt inquired of Dylan.
Dylan merely responded, “Of course.”
Dylan doesn’t know, to be honest. He could already sense the tension in Gaby’s father’s voice when he contacted him earlier. He rose from his seat and entered his room. Dylan closed his eyes and lay down on the bed.
‘Gaby, what happened to you?‘ Dylan thought.
*******
When Gaby returned to the apartment the next day, no one was there; she assumed they were at school. She went straight up to her room. Sit on the bed and examine her hand; a trace of the needle could still be seen. She grinned after taking a long breath.
“Thank you, God!“ She muttered quietly.
She recalled what had occurred the day before. She chases Clark down to the shore before passing out. It irritated her, despite the fact that she was battling to breathe because of the race, which was made worse when Clark pushed her to continue. She was certain that she would be able to get through it. She put too much pressure on herself. When she went swimming the other day, she didn’t even notice that her heart weaken.
She awoke in the hospital, surrounded by her parents, Tito Franco, and aunt Isabelle.
“At long last, you’ve woken up!“ her mum responded with a smile.
“Mom, where am I?“ she inquired.
“We took you to the hospital the other day. You’ve passed out.“ Mom told her.
“What happened to them?“ Gaby asked.
“If you are referring to your friends, they had gone to university the day before.“ Mom told her.
“Dylan and Sasha transferred you to the ambulance,” Daddy said.
Gaby said nothing. Her pals were undoubtedly anxious. They didn’t know what was going on with her, not even Dylan, and particularly not Clark, who she recalled being with the last time.
When the doctor walked into her room, she came to a halt. The doctor greeted her mother, who is also a well-known physician.
“Everything is OK with her. We monitored her heart rate. Perhaps she grew weary of what she was doing. She requires relaxation, especially while her body continues to develop in the climate of our.“ the doctor said. "Canada has a different season now compared to here.”
“Doctor, may I leave?“ Gaby asked. “I’m thinking about going back to school.”
Her uncle and auntie, as well as her parents, all stared at her.
“Of sure, hija,” the doctor said.” Don’t overwork yourself, since these cause your cardiac arrest.”
Gaby gave a kind grin. “Thank you very much, doctor!” ”
The doctor smiled and returned his gaze to her parents. “Anyhow, Carlos, Kellie,” the doctor explained, “I need to speak with you alone.”
Dad answered, “Yeah, all right.”
“Gaby, your Aunt Isabelle will accompany you.” Mom told her, “We’re going out.”
“Of course, Mom!“ Gaby remarked.
When her parents left, Isabelle, her aunt, came up to her. She grasped her hand with a smile on her face.
“You are quite obstinate,” Isabelle said.
“I apologize, Tita. Batangas is one of my favorite places in the Philippines. I’d want to go out and enjoy myself as I used to, aunt.“ Gaby said.
“I know, Gab, that’s why you’re here because I pushed your father to come, but you have to be careful, since your body isn’t the same as it was before,” Auntie Isabella warns.
Gaby made a frowning expression. She couldn’t stop herself. That’s less than half of her total activity when compared to her previous body. Then, because her physique was capable at the time, she became engaged in the sport.
“Anyway, your father mentioned Dylan. Isn’t he your best friend?“ Aunt Isabelle inquired.
She gave a little nod. “Auntie, yes. I had no idea he was a student at SU and that my housemates were his pals. ”
“Your father is furious with him. He thought… “ Aunt Isabelle exclaimed.
“Not at all, Tita!” Gaby said. “He isn’t the cause. I don’t mean to offend you, but I enjoy it. Dylan and I had a little conversation and were getting along well. He is still one of my closest friends. He looked after me while I was in university.“ Gaby explained.
“Really? You already have a nurse. So, what makes your father so anxious?“ Her Aunt chuckled.
“All I have to do now is talk to Dad. He can’t seem to get over it.“ Gaby remarked.
“Gab, you know how hard it is to move on. Particularly when a parent like us lost a child, then you may lose them too, if you don’t take care of yourself. I’m sure you understand them,” says Aunt Isabelle. “Gali was gone. They can’t deal with it when you’re gone as well. Did you realize that burying your kid personally is the most painful thing a parent can do? ”
“I’m sorry, Auntie. I’m sorry. I know very that I’m being egotistical. I also miss Bianca and Gali.“ she admits.
Her aunt cheered her with a kind grin and a firm grip on her hand. “Could you tell me what you did in Batangas, and how much fun you had?“ Isabelle stated.
She informed her aunt about her horseback riding, river bathing, being the bossy grumpy prince from SU, and Dylan looking after her.
